I cannot say enough good things about our experience for 6 anglers yesterday. First off let me preface this review by saying I have been on a lot of fishing trips with various companies throughout the southeast and Texas. I know what makes for a really good guide and these guys are it. Let me explain. I had a few people in our group that hadn't done this type of fishing at all so I was hesitant when I got the report of 3-5 seas with the wind picking up. A few boats on the radios reported it a little worse than that. Normally a fishing guide will ask at the launch if you want to go out or skip the trip. Once you step foot on the boat your money goes hard. No changing your mind. BUT these guys are different. They offered to run us out 10 miles (since an 8 hour trip takes you out 25) to see what it was like BEFORE you had to decide. That was it for me, even before getting out to that check point I was hooked (see what I did there?) on these guys as true pros. We got to the check point, had a quick discussion amongst ourselves and out to sea we went. We caught fish. We caught big fish. We caught a lot of them. We actually limited out on Grouper. Simply put I cannot recommend these guys enough. If you're in the area and want a different experience than the ole party boats give these boys a shot.

After a quick safety briefing we were on our way to watch one of the most beautiful sunsets ever. The ship was equipped with a bunch of beanbags to lounge on and we had plenty of room to relax. As an added bonus we were escorted back to the dock by a small pod of dolphins. An absolutely amazing trip from start to finish! Bring your favorite wine and have a great time like we did.

He knows where to go, keeps your line in the water 99% of the time and is just plain full of interesting fish facts as he's been fishing the area all his life. He's the 5th generation, born and raised in the area plus has fished all over the world but loves Tarpon Springs best. His boat is small but efficient, clean and perfect for getting you in areas that other big boats cannot. My husband, grandson (19) and i fished with him today from Tarpon Springs. We did a four hour trip. We had a great experience thanks to Corey's knowledge of the area and his persistent attitude. You could tell he enjoyed seeing us catch fish. On a whim, we decided to see if there were any afternoon charters available for 6 of us? We approached Mike (I think was his name, I'm terrible on names!) the Captain, who was onboard, and he told us the afternoon was open. What the heck, 6 of us took him up on it. Left at 1pm, dropped our first hook at 2pm. 3 hours later, a few cold beers, and some tired arms, we called it a day. Mike, was the man! Had a cooler full of ice ready, rods all set up, and worked his A$$ off to make sure we had fun! From baiting up, getting the catch off our lines, to finding the fish! Only thing bad, Grouper season ended y'day and we didn't know it, so we had to toss back the 3 nice ones we brought in. However, we did fill a cooler of keepers! I would give it 4 1/2 stars but Yelp only allows even numbers lol the only thing I would change is the boat being a newer model. We had no issues with the boat, but the leather was cracked and a little dated. I would recommend this company, and I would also use it myself. Most companies allow up to six or eight people. This company allows up to 12 people with a captain.
