My wife and I had an exceptional experience working with Kevin and Mark Staudenmayer of Leader TV…read more We had purchased a home that required upgrades to A/V components, a reestablishment of the home audio system, installation of wifi and verification that all A/V systems in the home were operable. A unique thing about Leader TV's service in this area, is that Kevin and Mark are very knowledgeable about both vintage and modern technology representing all the well-known brands. If you have older, high-end equipment that you want to incorporate into a new installation, Leader TV will be a key resource. Kevin and Mark were a joy to work with. They tailored their proposal to meet our A/V budget and provided alternative component selections so we could balance price and performance. Ken and Mark had worked on other homes in the same Pittsford area, so they understood how wires in the home audio systems were routed, how to locate the optimal location for the modem and routers, and were able to complete the project with an absolutely clean installation without visible wires or poorly installed componentry. We are 100% pleased with Kevin's and Mark's work. It was easy to get on their schedule, they delivered the project completely according to the proposal--no surprises, no upcharges. I would not hesitate to work with Leader TV again and I would highly recommend them to others.

Terrible experience!! On a 2 years HP PC wanted to switch from an HDD disk to a SSD to get more…read morespeed. Brought it to Moose's and my computer was butchered. I receive a message stating that perhaps during transportation my screen got damaged. I had used my all-in-one HP PC 10 minutes prior to bringing it to Moose's and it was fine. Since it was butchered asked for my money back and my butchered computer back as well. I asked the guy if he could copy my files from the hard drive, but he told me to buy a cable and copy them myself. So, I offered to pay $20 if he would copy them on to a Toshiba external drive. He accepted but also said he could not put the hard drive back in my PC. I got everything back and, to my greatest supply none of the files I needed were copied but just a bunch of stuff of no value to me. I called the guy up and he said he had seen the same stuff, but he never mentioned anything when I got everything back. Took my PC to a real repairing store and they explained me how the screen was improperly removed to get to the drive therefore causing the screen failure. Also, this real repair store was able to read the hard drive and told me that my files were in there. I had told the Moose's guy that thing happen and not to worry about. I was ok with that and had bought a new PC in between so that I could transfer the data from my old hard drive. Anyway, since I was given a bunch of lies, I feel compelled to write about what has happened. This is no manner to treat customers and furthermore if you don't know how to pry open a computer screen you shouldn't attempt to do it. Because of that between a new PC and the insurance I had to spend $1,100. Never again I'll have anything to do with this business and Yelp should not recommend it either.

From: "Bazurto, Jose" Jose.Bazurto@charter.com Date: June 18, 2018 at 4:21:26 PM EDT Cc: "Mansfield, Dirk R" Dirk.Mansfield@charter.com Upon reviewing your account, you are currently on our Spectrum Internet Plan. With Spectrum Internet, you are expected to receive internet speeds of up to 100 mbps download and up to 10 mbps upload. Speeds may vary depending on the type of device that is being utilized and its surroundings. During our most recent visit, our field ops representative was able to achieve speeds up to 100 mbps download and 10 mbps upload wired and wirelessly directly to our Spectrum modem and router. When we incorporated your third-party router, we were only able to achieve speeds up to 80 mbps download wired and 50 mbps download wirelessly. With this we were able to determine that your third-party router is limiting the speeds that you are subscribed to. We recommend to utilize a compatible router that is able to take full advantage of our fastest internet speeds or you are more than welcome to receive a fully compatible router from Spectrum at a rate of $5.00 per month, added to your current plan. We do understand from your last E-mail that you are considering to cancel our Spectrum Internet services. I do apologize, as I am unable to perform this action via E-mail. This type of request does need to happened in-person at any of our nearby Spectrum locations or over the phone at 1-855-707-7328. I can also arrange for a member of Spectrum to reach out to at you at your earliest convenience, if so, please provide me the best telephone number and time for them to speak with you. In order to discuss your Spectrum account further, we would be more than happy to speak with you over the phone at your earliest convenience. Please contact me at the phone number included in the signature below or contact Dirk Mansfield at (336) 217-3370. If you received our automated voicemail system, please leave the best contact number and time that we can reach you back at. I have been waiting for Mike to call me back since May 17, 2017 and the problem is not my router. You guys are providing me with 60 mbps and charging me for 100 as seen in this attached speed test from last night. Cancel my service, and refund me for the 5 years worth of payments I gave you. "During our most recent visit, our field ops representative was able to achieve speeds up to 100 mbps download " is a flat out lie, and your gaslighting is making me crazy. Cancel my Spectrum Internet services. I am no longer responding to your messages so please stop contacting me. I am forwarding all information the the New York Attorney General's Office lawsuit against Charter Communications and Spectrum, formerly known as Time Warner Cable, alleging they deliberately promised Internet speeds they could not deliver.

My phone trade in was finally released from my visit to 3359 Monroe Ave fiasco 2 weeks ago. I tried to explain what I had done so far in terms of troubleshooting the issue and researching on the internet. He told me "well I don't work for the internet." (okay....) I said, "apparently this is a pretty common issue with the newer phones that have eSIM cards." His reply: "What do you want me to do about it?" I mean, "help me, maybe?" I've never felt so disrespected for doing nothing but walking into the same store where I had gotten my phone less than 2 months prior, asking for help. Wow. Oh, and the kicker is that I was right. The tech issue was indeed the eSIM card, which needed reprovisioning. This man had just never heard of the issue, and so I guess he decided to be ultra rude to me to cover his own inadequacies. Someone with his people skills should should not be in customer service field at all. I would seriously go anywhere else other than this store. I am planning to switch cell companies when my current phone is paid for--that's how disrespected I felt after this "conversation." It was my bad for not realizing they don't do tech support, but he could have just told me that. Something like, "oh, I see. I think this issue goes beyond what we typically do in the store. I suggest you call our tech line, at this number..." I had thought it would just be easier and nicer to go into our "local" store than talking to a robot online. I guess robots are just nicer these days...
