    Service is TRASH. Constant issues, and depending on where you are located it pings terribly. So dissapointing for fiber.

They denied that i had asked for the IT portion but, it was in writing. Despite leaving a conciliatory 3-atar rating on Thumbtack and saying that the workman was nice, I have been accosted for HOURS with aggressive and combative texts because he thought my review was unfair. Only now (too late) I looked at his other recent reviews. They are 1-star reviews. Mine was GENEROUS!!! Please avoid these guys at all cost. They are super-rude and aggressive. And for an electrical company to be unable to connect a functional Spectrum Xumo box to a new TV, and then deny they were asked to do so, is inexcusable. What's more, they quoted $80 and I paid $95 for a half-finished job because I thought the guy who came out was nice. Boy was I wrong!!! These people are a bunch of aggressive, bullying, creeps!!! I would be happy to share their angry texts over a 3-star review (on Thumbtack). If I could change it to 1-star, I would. I am now giving them 1-star for HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR. AVOID!!

John came in…read moreon the day work was supposed to be done, took a second look, and explained how they didn't actually need to run wires, etc, they would only need to change a few things on the breaker and the outlet itself, saving us about $700. The original electrician I had called had told me the wire was too small and we would need to replace it all (without actually taking anything apart to see the size of the wire under the cabling) They easily could have taken advantage of someone like me who knows little to nothing about electricity, but instead, they did the right thing and earned themselves a life long customer.

Then, when he was 2 hrs late with no call, I called him and he said his kid had soccer. I thought I'd give him another chance thinking he just didn't want to say no when he said he would come on Saturday. He knew we really needed him bc my kiln was not firing and I needed service before the kiln tech could come. And so I thought he didn't want to say no. So we agreed to him coming Monday at 9 am. At 9:45, my husband called and he said (get this) he was late because he inhaled suds while in the shower. He said he was on his way. At 10:30, still no show, we texted him and told him to forget it. He never replied. During this, he wasn't answering his phone and his voicemail was full, too. And these were not even the first time something like this happened. Once before, a couple years ago, he came to give an estimate and during the estimate he fixed a small problem and said he would send us his estimate for the whole job. Then he couldnt come back to do the job bc he hurt his foot. Even though we now had to find someone else to do the entire job, we sent him a check anyway for the small repair he did during the estimate because we felt bad he had been in the hospital. He seemed like a good guy back then. But now I think maybe that was not true either. Anyway, I would not recommend. I don't like leaving bad reviews. But someone else one time posted a review about a company I was just about to sign a contract with. That person saved me from making a huge mistake. So now, when something is really bad, I do a review.

    My wife and I had an exceptional experience working with Kevin and Mark Staudenmayer of Leader TV…read more We had purchased a home that required upgrades to A/V components, a reestablishment of the home audio system, installation of wifi and verification that all A/V systems in the home were operable. A unique thing about Leader TV's service in this area, is that Kevin and Mark are very knowledgeable about both vintage and modern technology representing all the well-known brands. If you have older, high-end equipment that you want to incorporate into a new installation, Leader TV will be a key resource. Kevin and Mark were a joy to work with. They tailored their proposal to meet our A/V budget and provided alternative component selections so we could balance price and performance. Ken and Mark had worked on other homes in the same Pittsford area, so they understood how wires in the home audio systems were routed, how to locate the optimal location for the modem and routers, and were able to complete the project with an absolutely clean installation without visible wires or poorly installed componentry. We are 100% pleased with Kevin's and Mark's work. It was easy to get on their schedule, they delivered the project completely according to the proposal--no surprises, no upcharges. I would not hesitate to work with Leader TV again and I would highly recommend them to others.
