Turned in my spectrum equipment, it was a really quick and friendly transaction. Got my receipt and went on my way.

Spectrum is the worst. They added services that I specifically declined. I will never get Spectrum again.

Wow, have to say I am utter shocked at the revIews here so far. For us it has been a long wait to…read morebe sure, many years since I first heard of them as a provider, but their job is not an easy one either, and advocacy totally works. I would suggest using neighbored tools like Nextdoor.com to bring awareness in areas that are accepting orders, it worked in our area. Sure, I get it, $100 is hard to part with for anybody, but I can say that after out neighbored topped 80%, things toppled over super quick. I signed up as interested in early 2017, and ordered service a year ago when they notified me they would be coming to our neighborhood. Then we heard almost nothing till July when the main fiber optic cable was buried. I was super curious nerd that I am so I went out and talked to them, they burry about 400 feet at a shot, then have to burry a tap box, splice the cables to a customer panel and test the loopS to make sure they are stable. For our relatively small neighborhood that took months, but they were out there working tirelessly every day! Only after the loop testing was done could they start working to tie in every house, and that took them till January this year to run our fiber from the street too the house, and the guy that came and installed the service to the house spent about 2hours doing his part. Freedom from Frontier and Spectrum was not won in a day, it's a long fight, but having competition is SOOO worth it... hey, proof is in the speedtest results right? Frontier: 6Mbps down / 768kbps up (paid for 15) Spectrum: 45Mbps down / 9Mbps up (paid for 100) Greenlight: 498.4Mbps down / 49.9Mbps up (paid for 500) At least Greenlight delivers what they advertise instead of trying to pass of an oversubscribed service that lets you down when you need it most.

DO NOT USE GREENLIGHT FIBER!…read more The advertised $50/month fiber service wasn't worth what we experienced. During what should have been a routine installation, the installers drilled through a water pipe and flooded our apartment. As water poured into our home, we were frantically trying to move our belongings and stop the flooding while the installers repeatedly told us, "It's not a problem," and "It's no big deal." To make matters worse, they laughed while this was happening. Whether they were laughing at the situation or something else, it was completely inappropriate given the damage being done to our home. We were left dealing with a flooded apartment, damaged belongings, concerns about mold, and the stress of cleaning up and working through the repair process. I understand that accidents can happen during construction or installation work. What I cannot understand is the lack of urgency, professionalism, and empathy shown during the incident. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Greenlight Fiber.

It regularly STOPS, often in the evening as we are enjoying a movie or show on the TV. Suddenly a window pops up that says that CONNECTION IS LOST, the things freeze up. Generally it will reset itself after a couple of minutes ( a few times I have had to unplug and restart modem and router) I had a neighbor as if I would recommend the service, and, I am sad to admit it, but I did tell them to stick with their current provider. I get MANY items, in the mail, email and more about upgrading and adding additional hardware and such. We don't need, and while some of the upgrades would be nice, why would I upgrade when I am so unhappy. Yes it is a good price for fiber, but not for the service we have experience so far.

If ur a person who likes good quality services I recommend you go for Empire Access it's a lil costly but I promise they have no problem with fixing their problems, which if I must be honest they have no problems with their services. Empire access really stand on business, they don't lie nor steal from their customers , on the other hand, frontier and spectrum are outdated and are Internet services that are of the past which is why they are useless nowadays. So yeah if you guys are looking for legendary Internet services [ Empire Access] has what you need, they won't be dishonest they will be solid . For frontier , you guys are outdated y'all should file for bankruptcy now before empire access makes you dumpster shmucks file for bankruptcy. Anyone with high value 'Empire Access' is the go to.
