Maybe it's a phase, but there are certain things I dread these days…read more Getting used to a new phone when I so eagerly embraced the new technology with my last purchase....it was love at first sight when it allowed me to check in on Yelp...is just one of the things I dread. And as anyone who knows me knows I'm technology challenged. (Kate...if you're reading this you improved life when you showed me I wasn't sharing my check ins. I had no idea why no one ever liked one of my check ins.) But I put on my big girl pants and headed out to rectify that time was passing me by and my phone belonged in a museum. When they stepped up to help me they tried not to snicker. (and no...it wasn't a flip phone-or a blackberry). And everyone working here was so friendly and helpful. And patient while they walked me thru the process. Which wasn't slow. I even went to the bar and had dinner while waiting for my photos to load (Yelp photos of course.) It was kind of slick how one of the personnel kept adding little boxes to my pile, like I couldn't live without a charger you just lay your phone on. I pushed back when he added a pink cover. Do I look like I would want a pink cover??? This $hit is not cheap...I kinda gulped when I got the total. Oh well, it's not everyday you upgrade your lifeline. It's finally ready and I bring it home and start the hooking to blue tooth, setting up voicemail, downloading apps, etc. And I notice it's not fully downloaded. It's say's turn it off and try again. Over and over. Sigh. So I headed back. They've never seen that happen before. Of course it would only happen to me. (Wonder why I don't like change?) And it's closing time and will take several hours. So I head home and send Bob up with it this morning. They had to replace it with a new one. But once again they were helpful and friendly. And called me on my land line when it was ready (yes...I am one of only a few that won't give up their landline. Don't snicker) So two days and two phones later I'm getting pretty comfortable. But if I have any questions I know where to go to get them answered. Life is good.

We were Sprint customers for years when T-Mobile and Sprint merged. I upgraded the four phones on…read moremy account online and required customer service assistance to do so. We received our new phones but we were not mailed enough return packages or return labels. Customer service online tells me I can take the phones to any T-Mobile store and they would do the return for us. So we stopped in this store I took everything they sent me and the guy behind the counter tells me he can't do that. I say well customer service told me you can and I went to show him the text and he explains to me that not all T-Mobile locations can access Sprint customers information and that customer service online will not always give you the same information that the stores will. He does however get a larger box another plastic and packs the phones carefully and applies the mailing label. He didn't have to do that he could have sent me on my way and I would have had to figure this out myself. So with his helpfulness all I needed to do was drop the package off at the UPS Store. So I'm giving this particular Sprint location the four-star rating based on this one young man's customer service.

I requested a car fob battery replacement and a new key to be cut and he silently did so. Second key works great but when first usifob about 2 hours later it didn't work. Returned back to store and explained what was happening and was told by the same rep as before "what do you want me to do about it?". uhh, fix it! It was working with old battery at first visit (just bought the used car and wanted to start ownership with new fob battery). He said nothing, took the fob to back room and about a minute later came out and said he had used the wrond battery the first time. And that was that. No apology, no courtesy check to ensure it worked, nothing. I walked out and ensured it worked and drove off. Maybe he's the owner's son or something...

Joey and the rest of the team are hometown heroes who are patient and kind and helpful. I've seen elderly people who would normally get ignored or eye rolls at a big box store walk out happy and taken care of. When my daughter spent her hard earned money to buy a game that wouldn't play on her machine, Joey and co. put in hours of work and troubleshooting that went way beyond what was necessary and they blessed her with a machine that not only plays the game she worked so hard to get, but it had taken her scholastic study to the next level.
