I ended up hating Pure Talk due to signal problems in my home location, so I went back to US Cellular two weeks later, enrolling in a prepaid plan to save $20/month. I prepaid for the account at the store in Mexico. (The store is great!) However, the corporate people are not. By mistake I paid the old closed account online, thinking it was my new prepaid account. When I discovered the mistake (I paid for the whole month of March) I called and was told that a refund would be issued once they processed the March bills. I called today to see about the refund, and was told that they don't prorate refunds for cancellations. SO they are keeping my $100 for one day of service. The supervisor I spoke with was so rude and stupid, I ended up hanging up on him. I will switch to Verizon now, hopefully they have better policies and nicer employees.

I got an "appointment" for thursday and no one showed up. They said they could come the following day, I got text messages stating the technician had arrived, but that wasn't true, then I was notified that the problem was resolved, I checked and that was also not true. I texted back (as instructed!) to notify the company that it wasn't fixed. No answer. I called the support line who stated that the issue was fixed, and that the technician had arrived. I had to strongly suggest that neither of those were true. THey had to create another "ticket" and said that someone would be out at the end of the following week, despite my attempts at escalating the situation. I got a lot of people apologizing and no action. Despite my requests to keep me informed, I checked my internet on Sunday night and it was fixed. No notification at all. And, to top it off, on Monday I got two text messages stating that the technician was arriving at my location! again not true. I have to contact the company again so I don't have to pay for the 5 days I didn't have service. They have big problems.

This is about T-Mobile - not US Cellular, which I was always very pleased with. I'm sure that some…read morewealthy investors made a lot of money when US Cellular was bought out by T-Mobile, but they sold their customers down the river. They had promised it would be a seamless transfer (no changes to account, password, or autopay). But my new iPhone 15 Pro simply didn't work; I couldn't send or receive texts or phone calls. For 4 days. I had to wait on hold for over an hour to access support, and the woman was nice but didn't solve the problem. I decided to transfer to another carrier, and T-Mobile sabotaged that process as much as they could. Once I told them I needed my account number and Transfer PIN they wiped out all of my information (but tried to hold on to my phone number, despite having being told that I wanted to keep it) so I couldn't log in to stop auto-pay so I am now paying my new provider AND T-Mobile. I urge the community to watch out for T-Mobile. They are nasty and incompetent. If you don't take this advice, at least don't set up auto-pay, and consider it a trial.

I have used Radioactif as my Internet service provider at home in Montréal for about a year, plus a…read morefew months some years ago. Looking at their website, they may not look like a very serious company, but their service is actually very comparable to that offered by larger companies such as Vidéotron or Bell (the service is actually provided by Internet NetRévolution), but with more advantageous conditions, and their technical support is absolutely outstanding, and staffed with competent technicians that do know their trade and do not have to follow scripted interactions. I currently pay $36.95 per month for their 10 Mbps service with unlimited bandwidth, plus $6.95 for a dry line (this fee depends on where you live) and $4.95 to rent a modem, all exclusive of sales taxes. As advertised, there were no set up fee, even though a technician had to come and spend about an hour in my home. I had Internet about one week after subscribing. Most of the time, I do get a 10 Mbps speed on downloads, and the bandwidth really is unlimited as long as you keep under 150 GB during any 7-day sliding window. I actually use around 200 GB per month and have never had any problem. There have been some outages, maybe two or three 5-minute incidents and one more serious two or three-hour incident, over one year. Overall, I feel confident enough in their service that I have replaced my phone with a Vonage box (I don't use a cell phone). The modem is good quality and acts as a 4-port Ethernet and wireless router. Still, if you intend to remain with them for more than a few months, I recommend you purchase one on your own, it will come down cheaper, you will save on the shipping fees, and you won't have to ship it back when you cancel your subscription. Overall, a reliable Internet service provider offering a reasonable price for unlimited transfer.

I had been a customer of Comcast/Xfinity from the start. I always felt like a prisoner because…read moreoptions were few. T-Mobile finally became an option for internet and I quickly jumped. The last mobile number was ported to T-Mobile which should have closed my account. I unknowingly still had a line on my account that I asked to be removed in person. I visited my local office and was told we still had a number and I had auto paid it for 2 1/2 months. I called the number in front of the xfinity rep and I got the message the number was not in service. 3 hours on the phone over the last week and I still can't get them to see that the number hasn't made a call since the account was created but I'm still paying for it. The Customer Service department is broken and communications within the department are non-existent.
