I have waited almost 2 hours just to find out that I won't be able to pick up the equipment that was promised by their customer rep over-the-phone. The rep who is assisting me by the counter didn't have any accomodating attitude. The supervisor or manager who assisted her with my issues didn't even find ways to at least help and sort out what happened. People are waiting more than an hour and we spare our time going our way too. Please have your reps relay the correct information to your clients. And have that welcoming ambience at your store. Spectrum mobile exchanged the garbage lg k30 that had given me there since day one, but even after seven loyal years as a customer, when, due to family emergency, I was unable to return defective phone in the 14 days they require. My father in law is trying to move over to my account with Verizon for two weeks now. He previously had Cricket before Spectrum gave him an "offer he could not refuse." He was offered a brand new iPhone 13 if he switched over. There was a catch of course.. The iPhone would be mailed to him... He never received the iPhone. So stupid! He never has service anywhere!!!! DON'T GET SPECTRUM. Their main selling point is that they use the same satellites as Verizon. So I went there this morning to just drop off a box. You cannot just walk in and drop off a box you have to sign in. 4 employees 15 customers, but wait one employee does not help anyone only stands there staring at the computer not sure why she is there. Then there is 3. One of the three after each customer she helps she goes to the back for 5-10 min and then comes back out and calls another one. 40 mins to just to return my box this is a very inefficient way to run a business. Time Warner Cable is fantastically terrible!! Worst internet service we've had in eight years! There are times in which we cannot get any internet connection at all. Other times it is very slow, or the page will go down while in the middle of something. BTW, my spouse pays for the fastest internet connection available. He has already spent time on the phone with these yahoos (I mean customer service) discussing the above issue. We used to have Verizon FIOS when we lived in Indio, and we cannot wait until FIOS becomes available in this area (they're working on it as we speak). Oh, and never mind the long lines and extremely slow service at their office on Frederick. Check out the other bad reviews for this sucky company. UPDATE: They raised Mbps to 250, so it is faster in 2015. However, it's NOT consistent, and the internet still goes out from time to time! Buying a new cell phone never seems to be an easy task and many carriers have made strides to make transitioning to a new service provider in a new phone a little easier. Thankfully, this only comes around once every few years. This time around, I wanted to switch to Spectrum to save money and also get my son on an "Unlimited" data plan. However, Spectrum is the new kid on the block in terms of cell phones and moving to them was nothing short of a nightmare. First, it is important to know that Spectrum is now allowing customers to "BYOD" - bring your own device. However, they only allow certain iPhones on the BYOD plan. Since my iPhone 7Plus was tethered to the carrier, I knew my device would be exempted and I would need to either buy a device from Spectrum or purchase from the Apple Store. So, I stopped into the local Spectrum in Hemet to ask some questions. I quickly found out that Hemet Spectrum is not yet equipped to provide cell service and are referring customers to the Moreno Valley location. They did provide what information they were able and even called the Moreno Valley store to ensure they could answer some basic questions. They did confirm that any of the new iPhones could be brought over to Spectrum. I drove 45-min to the closest Apple Store (Temecula) to purchase the new iPhone XR. That excursion took about 5 hours between the purchase, transfer of data, and drive. This does not include the hours spent since iCloud did not transfer over any of my app username or passwords (I'll save that for Apple's review). It took me about a week to make it to the Moreno Valley Spectrum (a 45-min drive) to get the phone connected, a regretful delay. When I showed up on Monday morning, I was told that over the weekend, Spectrum was no longer able to provide service for iPhone XR, XS or XS Max. What!? I returned home disappointed and perturbed. I had to return the phone to Temecula and the Apple store was gracious in allowing the return. I tried to google a phone number to make a simple call to Spectrum in Moreno Valley, simply to determine if they had the iPhone XR 128G in stock as I was now without my iPhone. Apparently, the store does not accept customer calls and no one at the main Spectrum number knew how to reach them. Customer Service wanted me to order the phone and have it shipped, which was not what I was wanting to do. I arrived back home and stopped at the local Spectrum in Hemet. Busy place so I spent about an hour waiting for help. The girl was nice and instant messaged the Moreno Valley store who said they only had ONE phone in stock that I was looking for and they CANNOT hold phones. Fair enough. The girl again tried to get me to order a phone to have it shipped. Nope. Next day, I returned to Moreno Valley Spectrum to see if they had any phones in stock. Turns out they did, but not the color I wanted - but hey, I had already spent so much time driving back and forth, I wasn't going to let color stand between me and my new phone. Black it is. From there, it was a breeze. The new phone was set up easily and quickly. The phone purchase and even the startup of my son's iPhone X (BYOD) was no hassle at all. Lessons learned if you wish to set up a phone with Spectrum: 1) BUY YOUR PHONE FROM SPECTRUM if you are buying a new phone. 2) BYOD: Have them check the IMEI # to ensure the phone can be put on a Spectrum plan. Now for the reason Spectrum received 3 stars after all the hassle of changing my phone and about 10 hours of hassle (drive time, purchasing/returning phones, research/investigation, etc.). Christian was great and knew his stuff when transferring over the phones but the real star is Norvella S. Norvella is amazing! She is the one who made this whole process bearable. I may have given up transferring my phone to Spectrum had it not been for her (& some cost savings from Verizon). The first time I showed up to Moreno Valley Spectrum, Norella was the one who assisted me. She was kind, friendly, smiled, made eye contact, laughed and made a connection with me as a customer. She apologized for the inconvenience and gave me a card with her name, promising that if I returned, I could present the card and skip the line. When I returned to the store today, Norvella was helping another person but when she looked up, she immediately recognized me and smiled. She allowed me to skip the long line and got right down to business. Norvella is the ultimate customer service representative that any business would want. Because I am a manager myself, I stopped on my way out to ask for her manager to tell him what a great employee he has in Norvella. Incidentally, the manager told me that he is opening a store in Menifee (yay! - closer to Hemet) and that Norvella will be working there. So, if you move your cell phone to Spectrum, look for Norvella at the Menifee store starting May 2019. read more

When I arrived, I liked that there's a computer to check in to get in the queue. I only waited 10 mins, which is nothing considering it's a place with high traffic. Frankie helped me out and he was great! He not only helped me with the issue I went in for but helped me get a better bundle. Hear me out! First off, the only reason I didn't give 5 stars, has nothing to do with the actual customer service. I'm not sure if it's all locations, but this one specifically does not offer its customers a bathroom. When you have 5-6 people ahead of you, you're easily waiting 30 min 1 hr, with no bathroom. I almost peed my pants waiting... TMI BUT NO REGRETS. . Second but most importantly, SHOUT OUT to David that helped me. He seriously made my visit extremely easy and hassle free. I went in to get a replacement modem and router and was told that there are no new modems that are given out snd that they're all refurbished and what do you know....I get home only to see that the modem that was given to me had scratches on it and it fckn doesn't work. Do now I'm on the phone with customer service trying to set up an appointment for tomorrow which isn't guaranteed. I have to wait for a phone call In the morning to see if a same day appointment is avail. My alarm system , my ring snd my tvs all work from the internet snd now NOTHING!!! I cancelled my account with them a year ago. I took all the equipment as well. During my time with them, I stopped using their Wi-Fi router and purchased my own. It was on file as they helped me to set it up. When I cancelled I got a receipt. Where they had charged me a months payment because I was supposedly a day late in cancelling. I kept my receipt. Months later I got a paper from collections stating that I owed 59$ For equipment. I called and there was an investigation and given time to look for my receipt. I just spoke with a representative from Spectrum. I was told I could only get 100 Mbps for $65 a month and if I didn't like it, I wasn't in a contract. Gee, what wonderful customer service. I told the representative I didn't need 100 Mbps and her response was that they kept getting low customer satisfaction ratings because people thought they wanted slower speeds for less money, then they weren't happy with the lower speeds. Well guess what, I'm not an idiot and I know exactly what a speed of 24 Mbps that they only offer to lower income people works, and I had 3Mbps before and it worked just fine. So since she the only thing she seemed to care about was their "customer satisfaction rating," I'm making sure to let them know I'm a customer and I'm not at all satisfied. 1. I changed internet and voice providers from Frontier to Spectrum on a Friday. Saturday was fine, then the internet and voice went out on Sunday. I had to reset the internet over and over. It continued to quit working. 2. I called for help and an appointment was set for Monday. I emphatically stated that due to lack of reliable cell phone service at work I would need to receive a text when the technicians were arriving, so I could leave work and get home. I was assured I would get a text. Appointment time: between 3-4 pm. I waited for the text to know when to leave work. 3. I never received a text, so I called Spectrum at 2:55. Nobody seemed to be able to locate the technicians, or their whereabouts. 4. I left work and went home, only to find that technicians had come and gone. 5. I called Spectrum again! I explained how nobody ever called to let me know someone was coming. They sent another technician. He worked from 6:45-8:15, then left, saying that all was fine. 6. Then I used my landline phone. I got no dial tone. 7. I called for technical assistance AGAIN. 8. I was on the phone with a technician until 9:13 p.m. He made an appointment for the following day. He managed, by walking me through the process, to get my phone to work by connecting it directly to the modem. It is not perfect, but at least the phone, which goes to my house alarm notification AND medical alert system, is working. The initial technicians, by the way, disabled the phone to my home alarm & medical alert system - negligence! 10. All in all, in the 72 hours that I have had Spectrum, other than the nice phone chats, the service has been abominable. I cannot understand the level of incompetence that I have seen in the technicians. They seem to be placed in the field without a proper apprenticeship, to the detriment of the customer. I regret having changed internet and telephone services, and if the problems I am experiencing are not solved quickly and efficiently, I will be forced to change companies quickly, again. read more

Time warner service is the absolute worst! I had them in 2010, and today, 2016, I get a call from a collections agency saying I owe 51.73 from 2010. My account was closed and everything returned. To my knowledge nothing was due. So I tried calling TWC to get info on this. I have been on the phone for over two hours, have been transferred to 8 different t people, hung up on three times and have been told someone will call me back. The location has upgraded the look of the facility but the customer service is still lacking, TW has a history of offering you something then turning around and charging you for it, I just noticed the DVR they told me I could keep for free I'm now being charged for it, I cancelled the service over the phone the rep told me to drop the box off for the account credit. This seemed simple enough since I canceled the service over the phone. I walk into this nice newly renovated location I explained I only need to drop this office, I had to sign in wait over 30 minutes, I was not called and needed to return to work I was on my lunch hour. I asked one of the employees if I could make an appointment to drop it off after work he handed me a flyer and said I will have to call or go online.
