I had spectrum for 3 years and after the first year every other day my internet would go out and it would take up to 30 min for it to come back after me trying to fix it. I called multiple times with no help. Moreover, after the 1st year it went from $40 a month to $65 a month and I called multiple times to see if I could get discounts or any other options to make it affordable but they never helped me. so when I finally switched I got this extremely pushy guy trying to give me better deals and it took me 47 min to cancel my services because he kept pushing. The man that installed our internet was very rude. He left a mess in the house when he drilled a hole in the wall to put the cable in. When he talked to my husband he was extremely rude. H-No! If I could rate them with a big, fat ZERO, I would. Long-time customers receive absolutely no customer appreciation, yet if you are a new customer, you receive large discounts for 1-year, then watch out! I called numerous times to try & negotiate lower rates, but to no avail. The rates just kept increasing greatly & service quality was horrible. Tiling, shut-downs, bad programming options & diminishing options, yet EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE. They take advantage of your loyalty. Fine & good riddance! read more

Brought all equipment into Store and cancelled all services 11/30.2021. New bill starts 11/29 through 12/28. NO Prorating. Because they are a lousy business and do not care for the customer. Just try to take part in new marketing as a current customer. When you cancel this service 24 hours after billing statement close you get to pay them another month for no service. They will not prorate the bill. So instead of paying $7.80 a day. So only $15.60. You get to pay the $233 monthly bill that you get no service because they cancelled you immediately when equipment was returned. For 28 years I have been a Spectrum/Charter customer. I will never use their service again! read more

A door to door sales person from Spectrum came to my home telling me to try their internet speed and compare to my current provider for free for a month. I received some equipment in a box in the mail shortly after. I put the box off to the side and it ended up getting put on a bed under some things and I never even opened the box or activated the equipment inside. As it turns out I was put on some kind of promotion that was for cable television, phone and internet which I never agreed to. I called them and had a long heated conversation and they refused to acknowledge their mistake. Now I am being contacted by a collection agency...for services I never received. Avoid this unethical company at all costs..or you will end up with costs for services you never agreed to or received. #spectrumsucks read more

I have been a customer since 1982, I have had a few issues over the years. My biggest complaint is price and customer service.

Spectrum does not give a flying fork about protecting its CUSTOMERS from Covid. This morning among a large number of older customers, a rebel-without-a-clue had his nose exposed while declaring he "really didn't need a mask away." Response from employees? NONEXISTENT... read more

Paying 70$ for 100meg internet which isn't terrible and isn't my complaint. They are spotty at times but again not my main concern. I routinely get spam mail and spam calls from my own ISP (spectrum) trying to sell me higher internet and cable packages. They try to gimmick you like some elderly person, conning you into services you dont want. Its absurd to be treating your already paying customers like that. Never experienced anything like it. Would switch if i had and other ISP available. read more

The only thing consistent with Spectrum is bad customer service and the internet going down randomly, there have been entire weeks where the internet has been spotty/down randomly and Spectrum has never done anything to fix this problem for years. read more
