Here's an example how he's good and thinks out of the box. I bought the suggested Sonos sound bar mount but he suggested using his since the sound bar can move with the TV once we swivel it. If he used the Sonos mount, it was stay on the wall. He also suggested using the supplied HDMI cord Sonos supplied versus the 3rd party I got from Amazon. You see this prominently displayed on mailings, TV ads, and even on your monthly statement. Again, it says Brighthouse Networks is now Spectrum...... NOT SO......... I was just on the phone with 3 separate 'Spectrum' representatives, about my 'Brighthouse' account for almost THREE HOURS over a pending move issue! The first representative was excellent. I thought my issue was handled and all she had to do was hand me off to a 'retention specialist' to finalize my issue and it would be complete. During the almost 2 HOURS that I was on the phone with the first rep, she confirmed that I have been with Brighthouse Networks and I am STILL with Brighthouse Networks. She advised that IF I make any changes to my current service, then I would lose Brighthouse Legacy(as they call it) and I would become a Spectrum customer. OKAY.....SO AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO IS CONFUSED???? Oh, did I mention that once you get taken over by SPECTRUM you can expect a rather hefty RATE INCREASE? Believe it! Once I got 'handed off' to the retention specialist, the call went downhill real fast. It seems that I must be an idiot or I 'should' have known something I was not informed about as a customer. Apparently, Spectrum does not understand the concept of right versus wrong, doing the right thing and ultimately, The Customer is Always Right! The first rep had everything handled, or so I thought. But rep #2 made me repeat everything, again! Once I repeated in great detail, rep #2 directly discharged everything rep #1 had done. I would not get a fair treatment and he could do no more. After over 30 minutes with rep #2, I ended up talking with a rep #3, who purportedly was a 'supervisor' but yet had NO AUTHORITY? He had no authority to do the right thing and correct Spectrum's error! REALLY? I asked to speak to his boss or his bosses' boss, someone that DOES have the authority. That never happened, I just kept getting NO! How is it that NO ONE at Spectrum has the authority to handle my issue correctly, prudently and/or expediently? So, here I am....just short of THREE HOURS on the phone, with a sore ear, a near burn out and no customer satisfaction over a SPECTRUM ISSUE. All this from Brighthouse/Legacy/Spectrum or whatever they will be calling themselves tomorrow! If this is what we can expect from SPECTRUM, well then, NO THANKS!

I finally able to get someone on the phone and spent about 25 minutes on the phone to find out that my service was never actually canceled and that they were going to continue to bill me even if I didn't have the phone service through them. They also said that my port was not complete which is not accurate because my phone has been working since I left the other retailer. Their customer service agent was not helpful at all on the phone. I'm very dissatisfied with the service and will never go back to this company. Don't waste your time or money with this company, it's not worth it. They will rob you blind. Their Service is not even that good in comparison to others. I was experiencing much more severe buffering issues than I had at my old location. They convinced me that the problem might be the Modem Router that I had brought from my old unit. They substituted their modem (NO router connections but they'd rent me one for an additional 10$ per month. Their modem didn't solve the problem. Also my old Belkin router would no longer work with their new modem. I switched to an ATT Air Account. My Belkin is back working again and While I'm paying more per month for ATT, I'm just fed up with Spectrum's ever enshitifying service.

I learned that when you cal dish or direct a scripted salesperson will take your order then sub out the install to a very low payed installer . Dish and Direct have no one who gets a pay check from them , they use subs. Even if the installer has a truck that says dish or direct they do not work for them they are all subs. Sky Sats installers were great they were grown men with Experience and new their stuff.
