Worst customer service EVER. This is why after being a Verizon client for 30+ my parents are almost ready to dump them due to management at this location. Have told at least 3 people NOT to shop here and go to other Verizon outlets Sold my parents a phone from an open box & then tried to not let them claim the credit for a new phone that they deserved. Finally got that taken care of, but management accused them of possibly stealing a phone holder because their system wouldn't ring it up and the young salesman had to ring it up as another item just to charge them. When it broke, the manager accused them of breaking it on purpose and wouldn't even discuss replacing or refunding the purchase price for a defective product. Will be in touch with their supervisors as this was uncalled for and horrible customer service. Another location confirmed that this location overcharged on accessories & just flat out lied about Verizon policy on accessories. This is part of a 10-store conglomerate. Came by here today to activate a new iPad that I bought and had a really great experience. I was immediately greeted when I came through the door. A young lady named Melody helped me and was awesome. She was very thorough and had a lovely personality. The entire time I was there I was chatting with the staff and they all were very helpful. Devin (sp?) also was very helpful during my time there. HORRIBLE SERVICE! I walked in the store, and there was a gentleman (John) with sunglasses on sitting in the back. He just stared at me and said nothing. Even when I spoke, he wouldn't move of acknowledge me. I walked up and asked a question, and he seemed so put out that he had to work. He just started giving these wise ass remarks. I ended up leaving as he was beyond worthless. There wasn't a person in the store when I got there as I'm sure he drives them away. I guess that's what happens when you hire someone with skull tattoos on his hands and wears sunglasses inside to work "customer service" Look elsewhere This place is awful! read more

Wow. Can believe the poor customer service at this store. We went in a few months back and bought an iPad. Service ok but took 45 minutes for a simple transaction. I usually use the Verizon corporate store near the Pinellas square mall but live in Seminole so thought I would try Russell cellular at this location. 6 lines, about $5k a year so not a Fortune 500 company but certainly worth their time. Another 45 minutes and they simply could not process a iPhone 11. Left, angry. Wanted to give them a 2nd chance so I called and they said they could finish the order. One hour later I call and they tell me they are busy with other customers. I went to the Verizon store in Pinellas park and was blown away by the level of service. Treated me like a valued customer. I will ONLY use the company stores from here on out. I recommend you drive the extra 15 minutes and skip Russell cellular. read more

Verizon is more worried about being sued over any potential Covid-19 related issue than helping their customers with their phones. Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever seen in my life. I walk into the store two hours before close and state that I would like to change our personal lines to business lines. The employee tells me he is the only one there and that he will not stay past five no matter what. I explained to him the amount of lines we currently had and that I wanted to add five lines and new phones. He told me to go somewhere else and enjoy my weekend what's left of it. I bought an Android phone here, and the salesperson told me that I got a free wifi Android tablet with the purchase of that phone. What she did NOT tell me was that the tablet was actually a wireless tablet, and that she signed me up for a 24-month contract at $10/m for a wireless line for the device without my knowledge or permission! I had to contact the Florida Attorney General Consumer Fraud office and deal with Verizon Wireless's headquarters Executive Relations department to get the tablet line canceled​, get a refund for the months I was billed for that line, and return the tablet. This experience was a total nightmare and I do not trust any alleged VZW shop except a REAL VZW shop. read more

First of all, this is not a Verizon store but Russell Cellular. I purchased a new IPhone 10R. The guy managed to up sell me in an IPad as well, which was fine. When we got my phone set up he asked about accessories. I said that I would go to Marshall's or somewhere (meaning anywhere) and get it for cheaper. He said that the phone was too new and that I wouldn't be able to get them anywhere. So he convinced me to get a $30 case and a $50 screen protector. I really balked at the prices but took him at his word that I'd have to pay it. Well, I went home that night and found a clear case with a tempered glass screen protector for $8 on Amazon. Literally 1/10 of what I paid. I called him and basically he said I couldn't return the screen protector since it was already on my phone and he couldn't resell it. I returned the case but he kept "warning" me that "you get what you pay for". I feel really ripped off about the $50. These sell on Amazon as a 4 pack for $5. He already sold me a $900 phone and a $200 IPad. Why rip me off the $50?! read more
