The food came out quickly, and the server was very attentive. The food was solid, and I had no complaints. Wednesdays are apparently trivia night, so my colleague and I opted to join in on the fun. Spoiler: we were horrible and earned last place. The vibes were excellent though as the trivia host, bartender, and other patrons were all friendly and fun. I went there for a birthday party 11/1/2025 and ordered a 'bottle' of Pino Grigio from Italy as the menu indicated that one was available. I didn't realize that they actually served me a different Pino Grigio because it was in a chiller and I didn't pay for the tab. When I called the next day to discuss the different bottle, I was told that not only was I given the wrong wine it cost almost double what I anticipated. The manager was very nice & understanding. She provided me with a gift card for the difference which I gave to the one that paid the tab. We decided to try them again for another birthday & went on 6/11/2026. This time I made sure that I was getting the right bottle. I reviewed the drink menu & found that it clearly shows that they have a Pino Grigio from Italy in a bottle form for $18. I pointed this out to our server, Dee Dee & told her that I only wanted it if it's the bottle. She returned and told me that it was only available in a craft. This tells me that they haven't corrected their drink menu. Our server, Dee Dee was short with us several times. Especially, at the end when I asked her to explain my bill because it didn't make sense to me. It shows $38.70 + $3.52 (tax) - $4.80 (HH discount) = $42.22. My math shows that the total would be $37.42, not $42.22. Instead of trying to help me she took off and got the bartender who explained that the $4.80 discount was taken off beforehand which created the $38.70 total. I thanked the bartender for explaining it to me. I then went to explain it to Dee Dee so that she could explain it to others and she just walked off. The Doors used to be our go to place for our group's birthdays, but not any more. First the got rid of the free steak dinner, and it appears that they've also gotten rid of decent servers and an accurate menu.

I had heard wonderful things about this little bistro, but I left severely disappointed. We ordered the Wagyu steak, the chicken dish and a Margarita Pizza. The Wagyu was on the spendy side at $52.00 for this type of establishment, but not outrageous. Sometimes I am hesitant to order a steak of it is too inexpensive. However, a good Wagyu ordered medium rare should not be served sauced and sliced and should not be cold to the touch. It was very rare and not cooked properly. I don't believe they have the correct equipment to cook a steak like this as it appeared to be cooked properly on the edges. Whoever sliced it should have known that Wagyu will be tough and chewy if not cooked properly. The pizza had the same issue. It was bland and served cold. We decided to bring it home and try and cook it later. If I had to guess, it was a frozen pizza just cooked and not fresh. Finally, the chicken never came. It turned out that they were out of chicken. With a limited menu, this was disappointing, so we switched to the $28 cheese tray. The cheese tray was ok. Clearly just three random cheeses without a lot of thought into how the flavors could be expanded and mixed with the sides. The service was very polite and professional, which was the only redeeming factor. The food was not cooked well. It was not expensive, but it was not cheap and the food felt cheap and poorly done. If you are going to charge higher end prices, you need to deliver a higher end experience. My thoughts when I left were that if I lived close, I might wait a couple months and try again, but I will not bee driving out of my way again to eat there. Again, this kills me as I really had looked forward to trying this small bistro.

The entire dish was drenched in sauce and my mother wasn't able to finish her dish either. A dish that cost $47 for fish and "sauce" AND is inedible is a big let down. Overall a very disappointing experience from one of our favorite spots. Hoping it was just an off night.
