This place is located in the mall downtown and has a good floor plan for large parties. The primary go to here is mac & cheese dishes, whether it has brisket, pork bacon, lobster chicken, you name it you can get it on it but it also has a variety of other food such as chicken wings burgers, Philly cheesesteaks and fries. It's nothing fancy, but it's a good quick stop because it doesn't take long for them to bring out the Mac, which is great if you have hungry kids. The servings are pretty big so consider sharing. I enjoyed the bread that came with mine because it wasn't super tough like I've had other locations which made it more enjoyable to eat, and my toddler was able to eat some. And like other reviewers have said, it does look like it is all just the same Mac, which is perfectly fine and you can add different things on it. Remember it's not a fancy Mac place so don't expect some gourmet mac. The staff was very nice and the high chair was really clean. We were in Spokane for a doctor's appointment and killed some time as we wanted to really try this place out. It is located at the River Park Square Mall downtown, and you literally can't miss it. I ordered the meatlovers Mac and cheese, and let me tell you, this was one of the very best dishes I've ever had. The dish wasn't super heavy with cheese and their was various meats in this dish and was nice and gooey and this is one dish I'll never forget. I also had the peach lemonade which isn't pictured but it tasted very good. So, if you're a fan of Mac and cheese I'm telling you to head on down to Mac daddy's and try any dish on the menu, you get the bang for the buck and guaranteed to get full so head to Mac daddy's and try them out you won't regret it. read more

As a mac lover, I'm sad to say the Mac here was unfortunately below average and it was pricy. I also think it's odd that they pair their Mac dishes with slices of bread-- a slaw or salad would make the meal more balanced but the salad bar is an extra. Some time ago we had the Bacon Mac and cheese without the bacon and I really liked it. The waitstaff talked me into the Cougar Gold Mac and Cheese and although it was good and extremely cheesy, I wished I would have stuck with the plain Mac and cheese. They do not have hot water! My wife asked for hot water and a lemon on this cold winter night and they said they only can get it from the tap. I don't think I have ever heard of a restaurant/bar that does not provide hot water AND how hard is it to turn cold water into hot? Very strange! Then the Mac n cheese was cold when served and they offered to bring a new one so I told them I was not interested and ask it to be taken off the bill. 2 kids meal and a burger still was $45. Service was quick but the Mac and cheese isn't work it. The pasta is super over cooked and it seems that it's all premade and just different toppings, not made to order. The lobster Mac and cheese was hard to tell if it had lobster or not. Maybe it was some dried lobster seasoning on top? Definitely no chunks of lobster how you might expect. The name says Mac -- and oh man, they do Mac and Cheese up right and in so many ways. My favorites are Lobster Mac&Cheese and the Pulled Pork Mac&Cheese. This is an excellent spot to grab a beer before your movie or have a cocktail before cruising around the park. It's a laid back vibe and everyone seems to take their time and chit chat before carrying on about their day. They get a lot of regulars and that's always a great sign. This has to be the worst Mac and cheese I've ever had. I would liken it to melting a block of cheese and throwing in a few over cooked soggy noodles that's like fishing a needle from a haystack. I had the cheesesteak which came in as a close second by tasting like a grill that hasn't been cleaned in a few; maybe months. I'd hate to see the kitchen. I couldn't stomach more than a few bites. Our friends just moved here from the west side and went out looking for a good lunch spot. They went to Mac Daddy's on Main because my girlfriend is pregnant and craving Mac and cheese. When they got their food, the Mac and cheese was total mush, and tasted off. The cheese steak was unpalatable and soggy. The barbecue sauce was dated with Oct 4th and today's date is Dec 10! Both the sauce and sandwich smelled off as well. They were too reserved to complain and instead got boxes to go, and threw them out as they left. As someone who has worked in a restaurant, this is absolutely disgusting and a huge risk to my friend who is pregnant. The website has no contact info either. Both my friends have upset stomachs and I am very upset for them. Please avoid this place. If their sauces are that bad....imagine how often the equipment gets cleaned... read more

$50 for cold mac and cheese that's been sitting in a hot well for days and three beers. I almost didn't pay for the dog food we were served and should have just walked out - the bbq mac and cheese was served to us cold after being obviously from a hot-holding bar and not freshly made at all. $22 for a single bowl? I'd expect some fresh noodles at least, not mushy slop that looked like an instagram influencers raw dog food brand, and tasted like it too. The mac and cheese is made en mass and they mix the smallest amount of old toppings in to each "different" type. It was served with crusties from being hot-held, the cook didn't bother to pick those out first, which is sad because it was still cold when it got to us somehow. The pork was dry and also obviously not fresh, the barbecue was just baby rays, and $5 for less than a tablespoon of 'extra' cheese just for it to come out lukewarm and get reheated in the microwave before being reserved to us. We didn't finish our food, threw it away as soon as we left, and all got stomach aches or nausea after we got home. The restaurant was also completely empty, which tracks. $50 for that? ripoff. No wonder this place is failing and was empty when we went. Rough experience, and never going back. I've never regretted paying so much for a meal from a 'restaurant' before - but I use the term lighy. Just for reference, the bucket-list burger from Wild Sage Bistro is $25, maybe just order that from them and not give yourself the runs from the $22, three-day-old cold noodles they'll rob you for in broad daylight lol. Soulful soups, right up the road, has a GREAT spicy-mac on Fridays if you want good, daily-made, fresh food and not days-old diarrhea on a plate. If I could get my money back, I would, but nothing will get my blood pressure back down after that heart attack dog food i got. Embarrassing for the staff AND the owners. If I were them, I would move out of Spokane. Some folks just shouldn't run restaurants, and this is why. Hard to mess up macaroni and cheese, y'all.
