Excellent service from Ashlyn this morning. She is taking care of the whole front of the house alone and doing a fabulous job. She came over as quickly as she could, yet in the interim, let me know "hey I'll be here as soon as I take this out" (or something similar). Food, coffee and tea are all great Interior is clean and well lit with lots of windows across the front. Background music is appropriate (old rock). Food was fab, I'll be back!

Small mom and Pop diner Had about six booths and three small tables Waited about 30 to 45 minutes. We came in for brunch time. They also have a Bar area where you can sit at with stools Lobby was clean, clutter, free Staff was very friendly, very helpful and much attentive Food came out in a timely manner Appreciated the staff continuously, checking in on us and checking in on people that were waiting in line to be seated I appreciate that everything they had on the menu is locally grown Serving sizes were perfect

This place had great biscuits and gravy! The bacon was cooked perfectly. The biscuits were fluffy, and the gravy had a lot of sausage in it. The service was quick and friendly. I also liked that even the condiments on the table were from local businesses.

Billie's Diner was a great find, as they serve an excellent breakfast. Billie's prides itself on serving food made with locally sourced ingredients, mostly from farmers located near Spokane. Everything is fresh and well executed. Our server was very friendly and made us feel right at home. She was efficient, sweet, and had great suggestions. We ordered the ham & cheddar scramble, along with a waffle with pork sausage. The scramble was outstanding: a perfectly balanced mix of fresh eggs scrambled with chunks of quality ham (not the overly salty processed type, but flavorful fresh ham nubbins). It came with perfectly toasted and buttered sourdough toast and a mountain of non-greasy home fries. As good as the scramble was, the real star was the waffle: perfection personified! Light and crispy but on the inside hot and slightly eggy. Despite not having real maple syrup (I am a New Englander & prefer real maple syrup), this was one of the all time great waffles. The sausage patty was nothing special but the world class waffle more than made up for it. During a cross country drive, Billie's Diner was the winner for best breakfast. I hope to return to Spokane someday to try their lunch menu.

My husband and I stopped here for breakfast while passing through the area. I found it on Yelp and wanted to give it a try and I am so glad we did! The food was fantastic, the portions are large - we could have definitely split the pancakes between us. The staff is incredibly friendly and service was great. I love the classic diner vibe and the unique fresh flower center pieces on every table, that appear to be from a local florist.

The farm theme covers the quality of the food, service & friendliness at this diner! The rhubarb frenc toast was unique & yummy!

They don't mess around with mimosas. Huge glass!

Chance to start fresh right? Well, sorta. They did add some cool new stuff, so props for that. And the service has kicked it way up since they reopened. Great folks serving. But there is still work to do. They have new plates. And they should have picked different new plates. Got a side salad and it was pretty generous. But the design of the plate has stuff falling off if you look at the plate wrong. It basically looks like the lid to something flipped over for a plate. Salad plates normally have a little room on the sides so stuff doesn't fall all over your table when you eat it. I am guessing someone thought this design looked cool without thinking about functionality. So another typical Northern Quest eating venue gaffe. They have Cubano sammiches now. Excellent! Cubanos are one of my favorite things. Except they massively overcooked it, making the bread too hard and drying out what probably would have been a great sandwich. Also, who the hell puts a Cubano in a panini press. Go see the world and find out how a proper Cubano is made ffs. I will say the onion rings at EPIC are a bajillion times better now. I feel like the food venue folks at Quest are starting to get a little more in tune with how food venues should be. Starting to. Still a lot of work to do. At least things are improving

They were nothing amazing but we were starving. We ordered our food at 5:40 pm and the onion rings came out in about 10 minutes. I ordered the fish and chips and the other meal was supposed to be pork tacos. 35 minutes pass and we finally flag down a random server because ours never came back to our table finally the fish and chips show up but not the tacos. The fish was horrible mostly breading with no seasoning (not even salt), fries were cooked well but were missing seasoning as well, the coleslaw was literally just mayo and cabbage. Another 10 minutes pass and they bring out some kind of pork salad thing so we sent it back to get the correct food. 20 more minutes go by and the "tacos" finally show up and somehow were cold and soggy. This may be our last time coming back to epic.

The food runner was very nice and I wish we had them as our own server! The service... 2/5. All the other servers seemed great and ours took a long time to come to us for drinks/bring drinks. Someone in our party ordered a corona and it took 15-20 min for it to be brought and it wasn't super cold. At the end of the dinner she didn't bring a box like we agreed and when I mentioned it to remind her she said in a rude tone: "yeah... im bringing it in just a second". EZ-PZ, right? Well, not so much. We were seated near the fireplace in a busy dining room. Took forever and part of the next day to get a glass of water before putting in beverage orders in a half-full house. Put in the food orders, she wanted the chicken, I ordered the fish. She was happy, I'll just refer you to the pictures of my fish. We can be sure I wouldn't have ordered it if I had known then what I know now. So, mixed opinions on the food. Service? Pretty much slow and spotty. We gave credit for that to our server having a nearby party-time table with a lot of people, all enjoying their libations and trying to speak over each other. We could only assume the server expected a notably larger tip, maybe. All in, not the greatest use of our dining out money. Not sure we'll go out of our way to drop in here next trip in the area.

While this Downtown location is the flagship diner, Frank's Diner also opened a second location in North Spokane. [Parking]: The diner has a designated parking lot and I had no issue finding an available spot at 6 PM on a weekday. [Atmosphere]: Upon entering, there is a sign stating that the diner serves "15 thousand eggs and 3 tons of hash browns per month." The railcar has a great retro vibe and visitors can choose between bar seating and table seating. [Menu]: Yelp's top recommended items include Eggs Benedict and Chicken-Fried Steak. Breakfast favorites are served with hashbrowns or fruit and a choice of toast. There is also no extra charge for adding gravy or grilled onions to your hashbrowns. Do yourself a favor and choose the hashbrowns and also ask to add gravy on hashbrowns. *** Chicken Fried Steak & Eggs (Half-pound crispy chicken fried steak with cream gravy and two eggs - sunny side, gravy on hashed brown, biscuit - $22.00): My waitress, Jenn, recommended the biscuit so I went with it. The hashbrowns were absolutely heavenly - crispy on the edges and moist on the inside. It was hands down one of the best hashbrowns I have ever had. The gravy was silky smooth. And holy crap the biscuit was a home run - ultra fluffy + amazing tasting jam (not overly sweet). The portion was so large that I had enough leftovers for the next day. *** It was an unexpected find in Spokane and absolutely S-tier for both food quality and service.
