The sign when entering says 8 dollar and change plus tax for self car wash ... sure not bad , I have an older car and I really only needed to spray down a dirty car mat , and vacuum my car out after ( which was off and no body was around to ask for assistance, 1030ish) so that never got done I used the spray nozzle and all that jazz , timer said under 5 minutes when I was done and I turned the dial to stop. Ok cool end of service ( that I did ) so I was expecting to be charged under 10 dollars like usual ...... 25 dollars charged on my card ..... charged me 25 dollars for under 5 minutes that I cleaned , didn't use anything special , wasn't able to vacuum after or ask anyone for a rag to wipe my car I quickly sprayed . If I wanted to pay 25 dollars , I would gladly drive through the actual car wash on property to get the full car wash . No phone number to reach out and fix ..no website . . Need at least one !! I've been going to this place for years , and this just put a sour taste in my mouth .

My 'updated' review is only for the self car wash section…read more MFT has been my favorite self car wash station for a few years, as you saw in my original review, but its maintenance started deteriorating. There are puddles at each section due to drainage issues, most importantly the selection dials (water soap wax brush rinse) are not working properly anymore. In a few bays, dials only work for nothing but water or brush. So, basically you are paying $7 for water, to wash car body, since no one would use the tire brush for the body. A few weeks ago, I ran into this issue and the manager invited me to other bay where 'most' of the selections worked, and he deposited some time for me. Then he promised to replace the not-working system soon. Yesterday, I had the exact same problem. To a frustrated customer, the staff was not helpful at all by saying 'no manager here today'. If the system does not work as advertised, pls close the bay until it is fixed. If none of the bays work, pls close the section of business until fixed. It is not a good business strategy to open the credit card reader while you provide nothing but water or brush while remaining selections are not working.

Unfortunately I don't think I will be visiting this car wash any longer. I previously gave 3 stars…read morebut on my most recent visit its hard to give more than 1 star. As mentioned in my previous review I feel the prices are extremely fair but they are really lacking in consistency. On my most recent visit it was pretty busy, so I understand things will take longer since it is a hand wash so that was not a problem. However, it was clear that they were spending extra time on the more exspensive and nicer vehicles that were there. They spent about 5 minutes cleaning the interior of my car while they spent the entire time I was there focusing on the more expensive cars that were there. This also included cleaning one of the workers cars. The interior of my car looked like it had barely been cleaned. Just a quick once over. I had to go to another car wash 2 days later to get it properly cleaned.

But don't tell me this happened in the time it took me to get home from his car wash. I drove home got out and noticed it and went right back. Paid at 11:01 and got back 11:25. My fault for not looking around before I left the car wash. Sucks and I gotta eat it. I won't go back and the only way to ensure this doesn't happen is to wash it yourself. Just want to put this review out there cause the owners response was this must've happened on my way home. Come on bro! Scratch that wasn't there and goes side to side (wiping motion) not front to back. Beware folks! No stars!

The best. The Oasis in the desolate wilderness of shifty mechanics jiffying ur benjamins. You can't…read morebeat these guys - Mr. Choi(? the owner) and Mr. Kang the Professor Auto. I've been their customer every since... let's see... early 2000s. Was sad to see their original location close, and I thought the world was over and I sojourned in the wilderness looking for half as trustworthy mechanics in the Fort Lee area... until on my recent first trip to CostCo Teterboro I saw a mirage to my right... The Korean Flag. On an Automechanic shop. I rubbed my eyes in disbelief for a second and stared again - and there it was - the proud Korean flag + automechanic combo, which could only harken back to my memories of seeing the same in the original location closer to Palisades Park side of the same Rt. 46. I literally stopped by right away and there they were, like Professor X and the Beast in the X-Men movies quietly deliberating on plans to kick Magneto's ass, Mr. Kang and Mr. Choi(?) the owner - fine gents jus' doing their thang. Owner recognized me despite 10+ years having passed. As did Mr. Kang who immediately gave me the lowdown on my problem with battery and installed a new one, and my oft-dead car issue that plagued me for several months... solved. Other mechanics told me it could be alternator issue so they didn't want to sell me battery just to have the car dead the next day or so, and Mr. Kang just explained the $h%# out of those dudes to the stratosphere. BAMN. PEW-PEW! KAZAAM!!! Hasta la vista baby. All my clouds of confusion and worry - GONE with the wrench. *cue the scene of gunslinger holstering his smoking wrench back* "But Mr. Kang, what about what they told me about my timing belts that are so old? Any dangers?" Another lightning-fast Bruce Lee-esq explanation why I need not worry. BAMN! POW! 1-inch punched outta hell to the Andromedas. And this was all done within a few efficient minutes close to their closing time. I didn't have anymore fearful issues to inquire about. A nice handshake and a knowing smile, and a promise to return, and return the hell I shall. I don't have to second guess myself anymore on any more mechanical issues which I have plenty with my 2004 Acura TSX until I can get a new one after this ridiculous car inflation subsides. And then some with my new car, I can be sure counted to come ONLY to Tech Power. Screw dealers - I ain't going anywhere else and I don't need your watered-down coffee. If you've been struggling finding honest mechanics who're super experienced, can and WILL take time to EXPLAIN what they're doing, give you REASONABLE price, and CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS... look no further - come to Tech Power, your car's promised land foretold in the Car Bible. You really can't go wrong here. Or, if you wanna continue paying exorbitant price while feeling somewhat important sipping watered-down coffee... keep going to your dealership. :) (half joking, half not)
