We had the rear tires replaced in Begley, MN, but they were unable to do a 4 wheel alignment for us. We got ahold of Motor Works, explained the situation, and they got us in (nearly immediately) getting us back on the road in no time! Our original plan was to drive the Great River Road and wouldn't you know they went above and beyond to even assist with our route home?! Great service, great people, and a great experience........ We've come in 5+ times paying so much money with this company just to get called that for asking a question?? All we needed was to patch a tire and the told us we had to get all new 4 tires?!? We did anyway but still we've paid provably 30grand in total for fixing our vehicles in the past year just to get treated like this? I did not request the tow because I planned on retrieving the truck the following day and it was off the road and out of harms way. Once I figured out the truck was towed by Southside Towing I checked their website and determined they were closed on the weekend. I called Monday morning to ask about the bill and they stated it was $825 to tow the truck 23 miles. Southside stated that is the cost of doing business. Horrible customer service and very rude as well as being extremely overcharged. I would not recommend this business to anyone!!

Oct 2019: I was very disappointed with this place. I contacted Jason there a week or two in advance…read moreto arrange to use the shop. He said, no problem, just give me about 6 hours notice. I made my plans, purchased my auto parts, got all my loaner tools, and was ready to do the repair. I called him four days before I was to arrive to give him notice and to schedule a specific day and time. When I did, he started hemming and hawing about maybe not having space. He agreed to call me back that day after he did more checking and moved things around to make space. He didn't call me back that day or ever, despite calling him and leaving messages that day and the next. I was all prepared, on a long road trip, and so I drove out of my way to go to his shop to see him in person. I arrived Sunday night and drove by just to check it out after they were closed. Looked at the hours on the office door for the next morning. I arrived early the next morning and no one was there. I waited until about 30 minutes after opening time, and still no one was there. I finally walked to the door to see if it was possibly unlocked. No, but Jason or someone else had come in between the night before and that morning and taped up a "Sorry we're closed" sign. Not only did he never have the decency to call me back, he knew I was coming and instead of letting me know they would be closed, he just stuck up an anonymous note, completely wasting my time and money to drive out of my way to his town. Truly bad business ethics. Such a shame because a shop like his could be useful to people if they could trust it. In the end, it caused me to drive several hundred miles before I could find another DIY shop that was much better.
