Continuing the bad mojo from this spot - the girl working behind the counter around 3:30-4 sometime last week was rude AF. She barely looked up to address me and when I asked a question she seemed annoyed. TRAIN YOUR EMPLOYEES BETTER! Also, most of the pumps do not take/swipe my Speedway car, so if I want the points I have to wait for the 2-3 pumps that work OR go inside (not likely, bc the people are always rude behind the counter) to get my points. This spot needs to be doing a better job, but they've been dropping the ball for a long while. read more

Worst gas station ever. Card readers work about 20% of the time. Employees and management know and don't care.

This gas station has gone downhill. You got a 50-50 chance of the credit card readers working. They usually have at least one or two that are out of order and probably another 4 or 5 that should be. Two of them that I tried to use on this visit you had to hold your chip card in the machine, because if it wasn't in the exact right spot pressed against it, heard it wouldn't read it, and you get an error. Even then it didn't work. They only had one person working inside on this morning, and that poor person had the worlds longest line, making it impossible for anything to be restocked With Speedy Rewards I have a thing for a free gift card that's probably going to expire before they have the card back in stock which is very frustrating. It makes their loyalty program useless and a waste of time. And they were also out of the two snacks I usually get when I stop at convenient stores. In short. At this location is a complete waste of time. Don't even bother. Hate to see Speedway headed this direction. I've been a loyal customer for years. read more

If you like pumps that don't give a receipt, never have supplies to wash your windshield or paper towel, then this is the place for you! I don't go inside to shop, but this place seems poorly run and the pump issues are all the time. read more

This Speedway is usually cheapest prices around this expense gasoline and diesel area. Management has a very nice clean place worth lots of products and from the renovation in 2015 the layout and in and out access has greatly improved. I do miss the days it was a Total and had a Taco Bell in the store! read more

I stopped here one day to take a dump and was unpleasantly surprised at the condition of the mens room. Someone had drawn a poop circle under the toilet seat. Needless to say i had to hold it in and find a cleaner location to evacuate my bowels. I did whoever purchase a hot dog which was delicious. read more

Recently renovated. This is a great speedway!! Huge coffee station. Many hot food options. Beer, wine, usual gas station stuff. Only complaint is it can be very busy at rush hours. Staff and always been nice and cheerful. read more

Did you ever wonder my Speedway gas cost more in Birmingham than in Warren- or it's even cheaper in Midland? They obviously price based on customer's ability to spend OR shop gas prices. The people that work at Speedway Birmingham are always nice enough, but I usually feel a bit gouged on the price. There must be a fuel shortage in Birmingham, especially when the weekend is coming bc the prices always go UP! I'm in Midland several times a month on different days if the week and the prices at Speedway are always at least 10 to 15 or more cents a gallon less than our Bham Speedway... Go figure. read more

This Speedway sucks. Property has too small a footprint for the volume. Usually too crowded with little maneuverability/parking area. Seems like I'm always waiting in a long line with one employee checking people out while 4 other employees are busy doing something else (like too busy to open a 2nd checkout). And yes, since it's Birmingham, they charge a little more per gallon than nearby. Consider driving straight through to Pontiac or Royal Oak for more competitive rates. One last thing: It's REALLY annoying that upper management has made it mandatory for their employees to solicit EVERYBODY, EVERY TIME to get the stinkin' "Speedy Rewards Card".
