There was a gas station by the my old hood in hill estate and that was like the neighborhood gas station and it was cool and all but now this Zip Mart is my new neighborhood gas station and it's way more chill there than at the mapco by my old place with the lame old people. Some people feel at home or like family at their local Waffle House but honestly since living in Columbia I can't afford to eat Waffle House regularly so the zip mart it is and the vibe there is oh so much better lemme tell ya plus the chill employees and occasional interesting customer banter you just can't beat it! Then proceeds to tell me she only keeps "X" in the drawer, so I say I'll take 25 of each. She still tells me she can't take a $100. So I go to the ATM and grab some cash. She telling the customer behind me I am an &*%#€*! I go back and she says if you spent $50 I could have done it! So let's do some math 10 each x $2.00 = $40 25 each x $2.00 = $100 I spend $20, could have spent a $100 is that bad business? How about someone train staff to listen to customers before shooting off with attitude. Let's try it this way... Cashier...Oh I see you have a 100, did you want 25 of each? Customer Lol I wish was gonna grab 10 of each. Cashier Sorry because of what we keep in the drawer you need to send at least $50. Customer ok, let spend $50 between both of them. After that it had put my bill above the 10 dollar bill I had bc of my two breakfast items so I attempted to pay with the only other money I had a hundred dollar bill. She rolled her eyes again and said they don't take them. ( What I do believe the store is obligated to do since it is legal tender). So I left the store with nothing went to the competition and will continue to from now on. Roll your eyes at that. Don't give me your attitude bc you don't like your job.
