The sign says Round Robins Bingo Barn. Intrigued, I swore that the next time I was visiting my parents I would stop in and play. And so I did. I was completely overwhelmed by what I walked in to. I would say at least 200 people were sitting in a huge room playing game after game of bingo. We got there a bit late and had to be caught up by the "professionals" but we caught on in no time at all. For $12 you get something like 10 games with 18 cards in each plus you can add an extra bingo card here and there for a dollar. 3 games of the night are with $1000 and then they have a few $300 games. We didn't realize what a commitment we were signing up for. We were there for at least 2 hours and still had games to play. Playing Bingo really makes a girl hungry and unfortunately they didnt have a kitchen at the time, you can buy sodas and snacks and if you are really hungry you can have pizza delivered. Those people really had the right idea. Unfortunately we didn't win any games that night but I can honestly say that was the most entertainment I have had in Marion Indiana.

The food was edible, but not hot just warm. They use styrofoam plates and cups for food and soup. They might have been under staffed as the person seating us, also waited on us, and was restocking the buffet too. The buffet was, I think, sparse, chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, green beans, and fish. They also had meatloaf but we had to wait for that to be replenished on the buffet. The potato soup was not bad but I didn't expect to use styrofoam cups and a plastic spoon. The only desert offered was ice cream but it was not included in the Buffett. The salad bar was also disappointing. Overall, Disappointed. The greeter/server/buffett stocker was friendly but too busy doing to many things.

Wednesday is bingo night with .50 cards and they make a home cooked special. Tonight it was city chicken...delicious...7.25 for 3 chickens on stick, lots of mashed potatoes and gravy and a cup of corn.
