I've been trying to find more local coffee shops in the area, and I picked a good one today! Upon walking in, the little patio area is super lovely. Games and plenty of seating for all visitors. Not to mention, bonus points for the cat I got to pet on the way in, I love a good coffee shop kitty haha. Inside, the decor was even better. Featuring a nice seating area, plenty of plants, and even a little drawing board to add yourself in. I love when shops have community art like this, not to mention, tasteful memes. Very good for a quiet coffee shop trip, either by yourself or with family. Service was super friendly. They were out of a few things, I thought about trying, but the cashier made it better by giving out recommendations on other stuff. Not a whole lot of parking, but other than that I would defnitley be back. Confession time--I'm a fake coffee drinker! Decaf, tea, a little matcha here and there (I like my caffeine subtle to zero). But when my sister suggested trying a new to her coffee shop, I was totally up for the adventure. This place is tucked inside a historic house, and the inside makeover gives it a cool, modern twist. It's the perfect spot to catch up with friends or work with your laptop. The staff? Super friendly and welcoming! I ordered a Butter Beer latte which included carmel, toffee & vanilla (decaf, naturally) with a milk substitute and treated myself to a blueberry muffin. The verdict: coffee was tasty, but that muffin? Absolute perfection: light, cake like, and not too sweet. We demolished it so quickly, we nearly made a U-turn to get another! This is hands down of the absolute best coffee shops I have ever been to! This was my first time at their new location and the aesthetic truly blew me away. Every room had so much personality and was beautiful. They had a few plants for sale and fun merchandise, including a Cortado shirt made for their coffee shop kitty. I'd go with an overall 4.5. Came here mid morning on a Friday and it was busy. Got a cinnamon roll and the new year new moo. Got the roll quickly but then took about 15 minutes to get our coffee. I LOVED this coffeeshop in downtown Greenwood and my drink was delicious. It was incredibly busy on a Saturday afternoon, but it's very cozy inside and they have plants for sale as well. I believe they are moving to a new location sometime soon, but I just thought this spot had a lot of charm. This gives off moody library vibes with mismatched, vintage furniture and the low lighting. A fun place to meet a friend or settle in to do some work. After parking about a block away, I walked into a super cute and charming interior! I went to the counter to order and I asked the lady at the counter about the Red Bull cream sodas I saw on the website (not listed on the in person menu) and she recommended a super yummy version of it for me (strawberry and blackberry). I asked her what bagel/cream cheese combination was the best and she recommended the blueberry with strawberry cream cheese. So I ordered that to go and waited. Not ideal seating options, especially for folks just waiting on their order. I waited about ten minutes, granted it was around 10:00am. I got my bagel and went back to my car. The Red Bull cream soda was great, I just wished there was more of it. I'm pretty sure the bagels were store bought, but that doesn't change the fact that it was great. Even though it's small, it has a really cute vibe and they've maximized on seating space which I loved! I went on a Sunday morning and there was a line to order. They had some specials that sounded interesting but I ended up trying their cafe miel and caprese bagel sandwich, both of which were great choices! They also have non-coffee options like smoothies which could be great for kids. The pastries looked good and fresh so I tried their chocolate chip muffin which they happily warmed up on request. This is an adorable and eclectic coffee shop in downtown Greenwood that is a must visit! There is ample parking a block east of the business and if that is full you can park on the Southside nearer to the library and have a short walk through a trail. Once you enter you are amazed by all the fun art and pairing games used as decor throughout the space. It is a rather narrow space and the bar is toward the back. However you don't notice the space as being small because they have done an excellent job or putting various seating groups along the wall to allow for more people to enjoy the atmosphere. There are quite a few options for drinks and a big surprise is the delicious baked options which also include vegan ones! I had a vegan chocolate chip muffin which was deliciously decadent and paired perfectly with the darker butter coffee that I ordered. They also have bagels and even vegan cream cheese so this is a great option for those wanting a coffee/hot beverage and a treat to start their day. We were holding a fun holiday gathering and we loved the comfy couches and chairs as seating. There are also plenty of small tables for placing your beverages and baked goods. This is not a standard table and chair type place though so keep that in mind when going to hang out. There were a few tables and traditional chairs but they were full the whole time we were present. Fresh Pots just opened not long ago in downtown Greenwood. It's located along Penelope June Salon - such a beautiful salon and Brick and Mortar Shop - they have such neat items they sell! When you walk in you will see nice cozy chairs, tables colorful wallpaper and the smell of coffee! I love coffee iced or hot so would probably like what they offer here. My drink was very good and the sugar cream pie bite from 1823 Bakehouse was delicious! It was warm and a nice treat to go along with my coffee. The employees were friendly and helpful. They sell T-shirt's that I will probably buy at some point. I loved the one with the coffee pot on it. It is relaxing sitting in those comfy velvet chairs and drinking your coffee. There's a really pretty mural along the building that Teal Canary's Art Studio owner Amy (also in Greenwood) and close to Fresh Pots painted. It's a great place for pictures and the parking lot is close to it also. So many great small businesses in Greenwood! read more

One of my favorite spots in Old Town Greenwood! We have to stop in any time my daughter is home from college. My go-to order is a pizza bagel with cream cheese and a vanilla chai, but the tumeric latte with honey is delicious as well. They post seasonal drink specials on Facebook & Instagram so I recommend following them. Such a cozy environment with couches,plants and mismatched chairs, but it's not that big and pretty popular spot, so you may have to wait to get a table on the weekend. read more

Fresh Pots is an adorable coffee shop located on Main Street in Downtown Greenwood. There was convenient parking located a few doors down next to DeBauns. I visited this new establishment shortly before Christmas and they had it decorated very nicely for the Holidays and some fun gifts if you needed to do some last minute shopping! I immediately noticed the cozy atmosphere with several comfy eclectic vintage chairs and an array of old and new artwork covering the walls. Not to mention a mantle. I ordered a Latte and bagel with cream cheese and found these items to be very reasonably priced. I went in the morning and as soon as I ordered several more people came in. This is definitely a good sign! I enjoyed both of my items. I personally found the latte a little strong (I prefer light to medium), however this will not deter me from ordering again and trying many more flavors! read more

I saw a picture of Fresh Pots on Yelp and knew I had to come. The interior is so unique and different from many coffee shops. Located on Main Street in Greenwood, there is various parking nearby for free. The shop is decorated for the holidays and the windows were painted with plants. They hours are posted on the door but they seem to close at 2pm most days. We came in and most of the seating is at the front and to order you head to the back of the shop. The menu is displayed on TVs but they had seasonal drinks printed and on display by the register. The staff member greeted us with warmth and suggested items. I ordered the largest size London Fog for about $5. Amazing price for a large drink! They had mugs, plants, T-shirt's and other items for sale as well. We sat by the window and got our drinks quickly. I really enjoyed my drink and atmosphere. They had music playing and the furniture is clearly vintage. There isn't a ton of seating but we were lucky to hang out for a bit. I plan to keep coming back and enjoying this lovely shop! read more

There are two different elements to review here, the drinks, and the service. I came here with a friend and we, unfortunately, had a not so great experience, despite the drinks being good. In terms of the drinks, they were yummy! She opted for a seasonal beverage (a sweater chai?) and it was BEAUTIFUL! The baristas are gifted in terms of their latte art, because it was incredibly well done. She said it was one of her favorite drinks she's had in a long time! I opted for a London fog. I will say, I think it was just an earl grey tea bag dropped in some water with some milk in it? Lol. I didn't taste any flavors in there (vanilla, lavender, etc.), which is standard for London fogs, but the earl grey variety was really delicious. Wasn't bitter at all. The reason for 2 stars off, honestly debated more, was because of experiencing pretty significant discrimination at this establishment under ADA law. I have a professionally trained service animal, and she was not welcomed at this coffee shop. Upon entry, she was not noticed by the staff, and I walked in, sat at a table, ordered my coffee, and was content with my friend for about 15-20min. It wasn't until a barista walked by and noticed my dog that she told me that we had to leave because dogs weren't allowed. I told her she was a service dog, to which her response was "I don't care, you have to leave." I fought it more with my rights under ADA, to which I "won" and was allowed to say. It was NOT a heated argument, but you could tell the barista was very annoyed, and it ended with me in tears. After the "discussion," a sweet lady at the table behind me turned around to apologize to me that they tried to kick me and my service dog out (who might I add was being wonderful and hadn't made a sound), and informed me that this was a hot-spot for fake service dogs and ESAs. Between these two things (discrimination, and knowing that this is a place where many fake dogs frequent), I will not be returning. They are celebrating their 1year anniversary this weekend so somehow it took me a full year to visit. But I'm glad I finally did! It's a small coffee shop but there's no shortage of things to look at while you wait. I love all the quirky artwork and merch. While they had an extensive fall specials menu, my brother and I decided on the blueberry pancake latte from the regular menu just since it's something we've never seen before. It did taste like blueberry pancakes! The staff were super friendly and we got our order quickly even though they were packed. As far as the menu, I was pleasantly surprised by all of the coffee flavor options! They had a wide range of syrups as well as lots of sugar-feee syrup options. I also saw fresh muffins for sale. I love this coffee, but every time I've been here, I feel like a bother to the employees. There is one very sweet girl who has taken my order before, but any other time, I've never been greeted with a smile or a simple "how are you?" I was there today with my sister and we both ordered a cafe miel. They used honey flavoring instead of real honey, and it was just way too sweet for us. My sister nicely asked if they could remake it and the response she got was, "I'm gonna have to say no." We weren't trying to get free drinks, she handed back the ones that we didn't want.
