My first stop when I got home was my favorite gas station to get a celebratory cigar... The clerk scoffed at my expired ohio ID and when I got my temporary ID issued by the state of California from my car the employee got an attitude and called over the manager who was not helpful at all. I am about 6' 4" and have a full face of facial hair. I am clearly 18. I would have been fine if the employees apologized and said that they were not comfortable with accepting this perfectly valid form of ID But instead they chose to treat a long time customer poorly... And for that, myself and my family will opt to stop at other fueling stations nearby. These workers are not the type of people you want behind the counter. I am perfectly easygoing but that conceited ass with patchy blonde facial hair behind the counter is the worst type of representative for your company. Minimum wage is too much... And the manager is incompetent and ignorant to the law.

The ownership allows people to smoke around people pumping gas. I said something when I noticed it, and all I got was a blank stare. They said nothing to the person smoking about it. It's really junky looking, too. If they had a huge discount to compensate me for the negative experience, I might put up with it...but they don't.

Even the Hardee's employees were coming from their work station in the back of the store. Merchandise being thrown, people being restrained and lots of cussing and screaming. Female cashiers totally lost their shit. This was like 1:00 pm on a random weekday. Not one employee was available at any registers front or back. Who knows how much product walked out. I just wanted to pay for my scale ticket. Way too much drama here with the employees. Always drama with this location. Get your shit together. Good grief. If you can't control your employees, probably best to close until you can get a staff that can provide some reasonable amount of human behavior.
