I did not go inside this time to see how the coffee and snacks looked or tasted, but sometimes you need gas at an early hour on the way to work or late hour on the way home and this place tends to have prices very close to Costco prices. I needed to dash over here extremely early and they were open. Be careful getting gas here - they sell bad gas! I purchased fuel on 11/30/25 and the vehicle has been running rough since then. It wouldn't start a few times over the weekend and this morning it took me 15 minutes to try to get it started. It kept cranking with no start. I took the vehicle to the mechanic today and they told me the fuel was bad and damaged the fuel pump. I will be contacting Speedway for reimbursement. Can't wait. read more

Today, 9/14, around 2-2:15 pm I purchased fuel and cigarettes at the speedway. I did not receive a receipt at the pump so I went back into the store. The girl that had rang me up originally was new and was having difficulties bringing up a receipt for me. So I asked the other woman amira, who had a name tag on, to help. Amira asked me to come to her Lane so I did. She could not pull up the receipt either. She was asking me questions about the receipt and I told her it would be around $40. She was saying something and I thought she was talking to me so I leaned forward. She told me that I was in her space and to step back. I was shocked by this response and said excuse me. She then proceeded to say you are being aggressive and I said I am not being aggressive. You're being a b****. This had been 5 minutes into both of them trying to pull up a receipt for me and still not being able to do so. She then told me get out of my store and I told her I would be glad to once she produced a receipt because the receipt she had given me showed that I had purchased $60 When my purchase should be around $35 to $40. She threatened me with calling the police and I told her to do so because when they got there I would show them the receipt where she tried to charge me for fuel I did not receive. I gave her back the incorrect receipt and she still was telling me to get out of her store. She even used the lord's name in vain after she tried a stare down manipulation again. I told her I'll be glad to leave once I get the correct receipt. She told me to wait for management on Monday and I said no. I want the correct receipt now. You are trying to overcharge me and you're refusing to produce the real receipt. The new girl then said. Let me see if I can help because amira was accusing me of creating a scene in the store and all I wanted was my receipt that she was not producing. At this point I believed that she was trying to steal from me. Finally, amira was able to produce a real receipt. She turned to the new girl and said will you hand this to her? I don't even want to deal with her. The new girl proceeded to fold both receipts together and tossed them into the trash and said no. Then she will be happy and I want her to leave the store miserable. Thankfully the police arrived just at that moment and said what's going on here. When I told them they gave me a receipt that was overcharging me for my fuel and all I want is the corrected receipt. The officer asked me to step away with his friend which I did and his friend and co-worker was talking to me while the other officer said I've got the receipt. Let's go outside. The officer then handed me the correct receipt for $35 and told me to have a great day and that he was sorry that this had to evolve into such an incident. Wow! I have a feeling that amira from the Cass Lake Elizabeth Lake speedway America is trying to scam. Always get a receipt because that store seems to rarely have paper receipts at the pump. read more

They are constantly closing the store at random times in the middle of the night. At one point I stood outside the door for almost 30 minutes waiting for them to unlock in 20° weather because they had a note on the door that said will be right back systems updating the lady working knew I was outside. I walked up there at 1 o'clock in the morning to get my daughter Tylenol for a fever, and instead of her coming to the door and letting me know they were not gonna open back up. she just let me stand outside in 20° weather for almost 45 minutes to then come and tell me oh sorry we're not gonna open up tonight. Like you seen me standing here the whole time knowing I walked 2 1/2 miles to get there. They should not advertise the store as 24 hours if the employees working are going to constantly shut down to go smoke smoke weed outside. read more

This is the worst speedway I have ever been to in my entire 19 years of high octane life. They have screwed me over for the last time. Coming from an elite speedway member with over 100,000 speedy points. I am utterly disappointed, every time I walk in there at least half the speedy freezes are out of order. They never have any spoon straws in stock. It smells like a 100 day old hot dog as soon as you walk in there. This speedway has lost my service for ever it's just such a shame. I had so much hope that this speedway would match my elite requirements but quite frankly I'm just sick and tired of the way it is operated. Speedway is always the best. Always fresh coffee, decent hot food, GREAT hot food if you consider the fact it's a gas station lol. Staff is always crazy friendly and happy. (Most locations I've been frankly). I suggest trying the new espresso blend coffee they are carrying now. Packs a nice punch. I mix it with one of the "machine coffees" (like French vanilla or English toffee) only needs like one creamer then and it's perfect. It's no starbucks, but if you ask me, that's a good thing. I like sbux too but Speedway Cafe gives them a run for their money with the nice coffee and creamer selection and the prices. The place is always clean and/or being cleaned too. They also have staff that is strictly for cleaning, cooking, and restocking so the counter/cashier line never suffers. A++ read more

A little smaller on the inside than some of the other local Speedway locations, but this one usually has rockbottom gas prices. Example, today...other surrounding locations are at $2.309 to $2.459 right now (per the app) while the Clarkston Speedway is at $2.199 per gallon. Tradeoff is that sometimes you have to wait to get a pump. read more

I stop here every day. Great people working here. Can get a little crazy some mornings, and sometimes you get the unexpected rush while there is a skeletal crew working, but overall service is super fast. Gas prices usually beat everyone else, especially if you pay with a card. (Speedway charges the same rate for cash or credit, unlike the other guys...) My favorite Speedway to go to. read more
