I dropped in for a quick latte. I wanted something other than my usual Starbucks so I looked for a local spot and this came up. Cute place. Kind of hidden so you don't know it's there unless you're looking for it. I had a Samoa latte that was very good and well balanced. Not too sweet, and it had the perfect amount of espresso shots. This place is truly incredible. Not only for the great cause but because it's genuinely one of the best coffee shops in the area! The Coffee Bucket takes the profits that are made and donates them straight to disaster relief projects. They go all over the country helping people and cities affected by these awful disasters (Hurricanes, Wildfires, etc.) Buying a coffee from here is such a great way to support an amazing cause. AND you get awesome coffee. I drink a lot of coffee and go to many coffee shops and the prices are extremely reasonable and standard. Especially since its legit amazing quality. I got a medium pour over coffee and it was one of the best I've ever had. The customer service is also top-notch! This is also just a fun place to chill at any point of the day. They have plenty of seating and even some couches to lounge on. There are games you can use to play with friends, and on the weekend they try and have live music going throughout the day. I came on a Saturday and stayed for over an hour, just enjoying the show and the coffee!! If you are in the area, definitely stop by. And if you are not from the area...its worth the trip! read more

I still love this place! Especially the seasonal lattes they make with their house syrups. But... do not be tempted by the "protein mocha"! I should have asked what was in it before ordering. I wrongly assumed they used a high-protein chocolate milk to make it but they use some sort of protein powder and hot water which does not actually dissolve so the end result is chunky, chalky, and overly artificially sweet. I actually couldn't drink it and dumped it out. I'm sure they would have made me something else if I asked but I was already on the road when I tried it. I hope they figure out a better recipe because it's a good idea, but I'll stick with my maple brown latte for now. read more

Been here a few times and tried four different drinks and so far they have all been wonderful. The staff is really nice and willing to offer help if you don't quite know what you want. They are an entity of draw ( disaster relief at work) so it's nice to have a local coffee joint with a purpose. I will become a regular here quickly for sure. read more

The Coffee Bucket is part of DRAW (Disaster Relief at Work) and operates as a nonprofit, with all proceeds going towards disaster relief. They are not roasting their own coffee. They serve ABeanToGo out of Lake Orion. I appreciate this commitment to serving locally brewed grinds. I stopped in around noon on a weekday and ordered a small Maple Brown Latte, which was just over $4 including tax. The barista was friendly and welcoming. The drink itself was just okay. It was very sweet and tasted slightly burnt - perhaps that was the brown sugar - and hardly any maple. I ordered it with unsweetened almond milk, which is their only nondairy option. Inside there were several small tables plus some casual seating. It felt open and inviting. Overall, if you're in the area and looking to support a good cause then this is a decent place to get a cuppa joe. But for the price/quality ratio, I wouldn't go far out of my way to come here. read more

I was in Clarkston for a weekend and had some work to do, so I searched around for a coffee shop and stumbled across the Coffee Bucket. I absolutely love that they support disaster relief efforts and are committed to sustainability. The pour over coffee I had was quite delicious, and the barista that morning was very friendly. Seems like it's got a nice vibe that's great for catching up with friends, and if you're okay working with some friendly background chatter, then it's nice for that too!
