Starbucks Simple place. Come get your usual stuff here. Good space inside. A little dirty. Drive thru. Many workers. No issues here. The bad? The traffic is terrible. Easy in. Difficult out. Highly recommended

Why bother reviewing a Starbucks? Good question. Back in San Francisco, there's one every fifty yards or at least it feels like it, and more importantly, there are alternatives to patronize, indies and mini-chains that make it difficult to avoid caffeine. But in the suburbs of Detroit, the pickings were slim for coffeehouses unless you ordered your java with a dozen doughnuts at Tim Horton's or gave up entirely and got a Coney Island dog since there were plenty of places to devour those. This one stayed open past 9AM on a Sunday, and it was surprisingly spacious for a standard strip mall location and unsurprisingly quite empty despite the brisk wintry weather. No other surprises here. It was Starbucks after all. COFFEE - 3 stars...same-o, same-o AMBIANCE - 3.5 stars...lots of room on a Sunday night SERVICE - 3 stars...one of the three workers had a welcome tone TOTAL - 3 stars...when in doubt... Another fine Starbucks place, stopped by this morning for my usual visit to get a caffe. The place is nice and clean and they take your order right away. Got a featured dark roast coffee with almond milk and a water. It's a nice location with lots of parking.

I ordered A sandwich from Uber eats from this star bucks and this is what they gave us

Apparently literacy isn't an employment requirement for this location.

Besides Hotspot Starbucks will forever be my favorite coffee place to go to. I love the mobile ordering in the busy mornings.

Terrible customer service. Always long delays even though they are fully staffed. Terrible considering how much they charge.

Stellar, fantastic coffee, and Qamaria provides an attentive mail order experience. This is a very…read moreopinionated review, but based on 50 years of lucky access to very fine coffees, and ideally you will consider it more enthusiastic and informed than smug and annoying. We live on the West Coast, were looking for Yemini coffee, and fortunately found Qamaria's website, ordering the Gate of Yemen dark roast. The roast is lighter and less oily than a French roast, as it should be, with some oil in the beans appropriate to something called a dark roast. We would say that Qamaria not only skillfully but more importantly respectfully roasts for the bean. This coffee makes us very happy, with a good dark "round" and balanced aroma to the ground beans and the brew. We made it pour over, but it feels most appropriate to stove top espresso or traditional style. It has a very satisfying long tail. A pour with a plot. A touch of the right kind of bitterness. The bean crushes easily between the fingers and grinds up finer than the espresso blend that we drink pour over (45% French Roast using Columbian beans, 45% Italian Roast using Mexican beans and 10% dark roast using Indonesian beans). Qamaria dark roast makes a pour over cup that is thicker than expected, which we find very satisfying: it's a sort of the character of traditional brewing but in a Chemex. We like the surprising way that a slight, fine sediment sneaks through the pour over paper filters and spreads across the tongue. Next we will move on to other Qamaria roasts and blends, brewing on stove top. The price point kills us, but how does one settle for ordinary to save money, when extraordinary gives such pleasure?

I understand employees may be busy, so that wasn't my concern. What bothered me was the customer service that followed. I asked for a small Berries Delight and pointed to the individual desserts on the left. Instead, the young man assisting me went to the cakes on the right and attempted to hand me a small cake. I politely stopped him and explained that I wanted the personal-sized Berries Delight on the left. He responded by saying, "Those are called slices," in a tone that came across as rude and condescending. I then asked if I could have a fresh one from the refrigerator because the one in the display case looked like it had been sitting there for a while. He insisted the display one was fine, but I repeated that I would prefer one from the refrigerator. He reluctantly got one and handed it to me, saying, "There's your fresh Berries Delight," in a sarcastic tone. I visit Sweet Dreams regularly--between this location and the previous one, I stop in about four times a month. I've always enjoyed your desserts, which is why this experience was so surprising. I've never been treated this way before. I hope this feedback is taken seriously because the quality of customer service should match the quality of your products.

The definition of hipster is to have a store that you can only find if you know about it, already…read more So this place shares a building with a barbershop, which happens to be on the second floor, but the coffee shop has no signage. Was there in early June and the coffee and service were both good, as was the savory pastry I got. The main issue with this place is the noise... not for the usual reason in coffeeshops where they play music too loud, but it's a raucous and busy place, which speaks well of the business. But far worse than noisy conversation there's this bell on both the front and back entrances that plays a little five note electric tune every time someone comes in or leaves... Why is it there? Why is it needed? The fact that only a few people have noted it here perhaps speaks more of our noise-polluted lives than anything else, but it's maddening as this thing goes off literally every minute or more, constant, tintinnabulations of the bell, bell, bell, bell, bell... There was an employee taking a break on his phone listening to YouTube videos out loud, too... I guess we're all just so used to this now. So if you want a quiet cafe to get work done, this ain't it. Maybe it's more of a Central Perk scene, with people meeting socially, all who liked the place before it became cool.
