Besides Hotspot Starbucks will forever be my favorite coffee place to go to. I love the mobile ordering in the busy mornings.

On this Day After Christmas we visited a Starbucks in the area. It was great to walk in and see a clean, relaxing, and welcoming location. I was greeted with a welcome upon entry, excellent feeling. Tyler was the barista who took my order. He was very pleasant, friendly, and customer service oriented. I felt confident ordering with him. I ordered: 1 Gingerbread Latte Grande (for my daughter), 1 Caramel Macchiato with an extra shot Venti, and 1 Spicy Falafel Pocket. While I waited, I was able to peruse the Holiday Items that are 50% off on this day after Christmas. They even have the Starbucks Berry Mugs here (about 5-6 left)! This location is clean, well maintained, cheerfully decorated, busy staffed, and chill vibes. The beverages condiment station is clean and organized here; even at 1230p! My order was called out by each item (I had 3) separately. Each time the barista pronounced my name correctly and with a cheerful tone. Thanks! Everything beverage-wise was delicious. The Spicy Falafel Pocket is tasty. The only feedback I have for the Starbucks Corporate Team is: The Spicy Falafel Pocket is dry when consuming it and I highly recommend that you all provide an accompaniment of Tzatziki or Creamy Garlic/Cucumber Sauce with it when ordered. I rarely visit Starbucks until fall rolls around--that's when I go for my favorite drink. I usually place my order through the app and pick it up in the drive-thru, and it's almost always ready on time. As expected with Starbucks, the prices are on the higher side, but it's a nice treat for the season. My go-to is the iced pumpkin chai latte with one pump of brown sugar and light ice. In my opinion, it's their best drink by far, but since it's seasonal, make sure to grab it while it's available! read more

While this is not my favorite Starbucks I have enjoyed this location for years. I do like their large dining room. The kids have grown up going here for treats. An all time favorite of theirs when they were young was the Capin' Crunch secret menu frappuccino. The people who work here are usually really great. They were very funny and friendly yesterday. They usually make a good drink here and it is very consistent. My daughter got a frappuccino with tons of extras and they did a great job. They are usually very quick and efficient as well when it comes to getting drinks out. I am currently a fan of the almond milk drinks iced. The sugar cookie latte or the shaken chocolate almond espresso are currently at the top of my list. I also love the vanilla cold brew with sweet cream. The red velvet slice is also good right now. I am obviously a Starbucks fan so I regularly enjoy all of their products. We are regulars at all Starbucks in the vicinity, so that does include this one. read more

Food is awesome, always. Service is the best it can be for the staff and facilities they have been provided. Ambiance is a nice thought if it weren't for the: Design of the new building and Parking lot are by far, the worst! Traffic backs up out to M 59, the entrance and exit is 50' from one of the most dangerous intersections of waterford. The drive through line blocks access to the parking lot. Which is forcing customers to parking in the neighboring business lot, which is also causing congestion and confusion. Its so bad, I just don't want to go there anymore. read more

Why bother reviewing a Starbucks? Good question. Back in San Francisco, there's one every fifty yards or at least it feels like it, and more importantly, there are alternatives to patronize, indies and mini-chains that make it difficult to avoid caffeine. But in the suburbs of Detroit, the pickings were slim for coffeehouses unless you ordered your java with a dozen doughnuts at Tim Horton's or gave up entirely and got a Coney Island dog since there were plenty of places to devour those. This one stayed open past 9AM on a Sunday, and it was surprisingly spacious for a standard strip mall location and unsurprisingly quite empty despite the brisk wintry weather. No other surprises here. It was Starbucks after all. this is the Starbucks I frequent. I never have any issues. I just wanted to give a heads up about the matcha green tea (served chilled). Not a fan... it was milky and gooey and I will not get that again. I'll stick to my black iced coffee. read more

Every time I come here the workers are so rude and don't say a word to customers. When you ask them to do something they roll their eyes like it's too much work. Also waited 5 minutes to order inside. Everyone is lazy here. read more

I used to frequent this Starbucks daily over the past two years and it has significantly gone downhill over the last six months. Today, while I was greeted by the young male barista, it was clear that working and attending to customers was not the priority of the staff who were more concerned with socializing about non-work topics than paying attention to their duties. I ordered a tall decaf caramel macchiato and the barista at the end of the line proceeded to make the iced version. Upon clarifying with me that was my drink, I corrected her as did her colleague. The girl repeated back that my order was a hot beverage, she still went ahead and made me and iced macchiato anyway. Annoyed at this point I pointed out that my order was messed up and that I just finished telling her my beverage was to be hot and her response was an unshaded/not bothered and passive aggressive "oh, well I guess I can make you another one..." I proceeded to cut her off, grab the drink and told her that I didn't have time for her to make me another one as this one took longer than normal due to staff socializing, and walked out. The place is clean, it used to have a great atmosphere and friendly (and competent) staff. It has been in steady decline over the last six months and I'm afraid it's as low as it can go. Farewell Starbucks. I'll be sticking to my coffee at home from now on. read more

I LOVE Starbucks, but not currently. I haven't been going to Starbucks lately, because my lattes and cappuccinos are not filled as they should be. I'm tired of requesting the baristas to fadd more. I tip not only on the app, but cash too. As many of us, I'm on a tight schedule. I order my coffee, want it to be correct the 1st time around, and go. However, I lose time and / or money every time I go to Starbucks. This has to be corrected. Folks are not getting what we are paying for, so we are being cheated. read more

I have never left a yelp review before; however, this store deserve this one. This is the most incompetent staff I've ever come across in my life. They are very kind, but don't expect your order to be correct, and certainly expect to be waiting forever. If it says it's going to be ready at 10 after, wait another 20 minutes and then be prepared to argue. It is always this way and right now there's a store full of customers angry. Isn't there a district manager that ever checks in on how stores are doing? Glaciers move faster than these people, and it's every day. Don't recommend this location at all. read more

If you want a slow and understaffed Starbucks location look no further. Im at this location regularly, and they're always understaffed during the "happy hour" events in mid-afternoon when people are ordering multiple drinks. They also seem to have the slowest staff working during busy times of the day who are woefully uneducated about their own menu. This location doesn't even have a drive through. Avoid this location if speedy service is your primary concern. read more

They touch their masks that they expel their own waste products into all day, because they are uncomfortable and hard to breathe in. But then they touch the lids to every cup with their nasty hands that have been touching that filthy mask, where I'm to place my lips. First of all don't ever get ride of the guy with brown hair and the girl with the reed hair working the evening of 10/3. Seriously the BEST customer service and great personalities. They were efficient, fast, friendly, gave suggestions, knew their info and because of them I found a new Starbucks location to come back to after the Dixie Hwy location in clarkston left the worst taste in my mouth last summer. I used to get Starbucks 5/6 times a week and completely stopped going bc of a barista at the clarkston location. I ordered on the app, an iced coffee drink and the strawberry overnight grains. When I arrived, they had my drink made and had a gift card sitting with my drink. I grabbed my drink and the card and asked if the gift card was because they were out of the strawberry overnight grains and they said yes. The very nice guy making the drinks said I could go to the register and get anything else I wanted, so I picked out egg white bites and a cake pop. To my surprise, he said that it was on them! And on top of it they gave me a $4 gift card for my next purchase. Not only was this very kind of them, but they were both very nice people with great attitudes! I come here but not regularly. I'll usually opt for the Starbucks in Meijer closer to home. But their hours are shorter so I'll come here after 7pm if I'm in the mood. Staff is normally friendly and quick- I haven't been in when it's really busy. Very large store and lots of space so no one feels crowded when waiting for drinks. read more

This location has an unusually large interior, compared to other Starbucks in the area. There are lots of tables, though they could easily add more. There's a lot of wasted empty floor space. The staff are always courteous, though not as genuinely friendly as other Starbucks locations. Wait times to order are always short. Often there's a long wait to pick up orders though, presumably because they offer mobile ordering. So even if the line is short, be prepared to wait while they make drinks for people who aren't even in the building yet. read more

So I use this Starbucks almost 3-4 a week when I'm in school, and at least once a week in general. Today I got up and was really in a rush, I did my Mobile order and came in to get my stuff. I automatically looked for my iced white chocolate mocha and my bacon egg bites and I only saw my egg bites. After I checked my order I realized that I ordered a hot coffee instead of iced. I was already rushing but I figured I'd ask anyway. I told them I ordered the wrong drink and they were so urgent to make the correct one for me. I don't know why I expected differently.. but it made my day. I also gave the original drink to one of the assistants at where I was at this morning, because they insisted I take it and gave it to someone else.. she loved it! I normally order a Blonde Roast with cream and this Starbucks location's staff always acts as if this is a problem because it is a "pour over". Also, most Starbucks locations will add cream if you ask for it but this location makes you add it yourself...Dunkin Donuts will add cream to your coffee without hesitation and it is much cheaper. I love Starbucks but this location is terrible. The staff is rude and snooty, except for the poor girl running around making all of the drinks. They need to take politeness lessons from Taco Bell's drive through staff! I need to find a new regular Starbucks location... read more
