We loaded up with snacks and drinks for a roadtrip back to the city and everything was as you would expect. Not only were the cashiers super friendly but one guy working the coffee machines let me have my coffee for free because "the red light is on, the coffee is passed it prime" lol that still tickles me thinking back on it. Aly (shift lead) and Justin (manager-in-training) were professional, patient, and proactive from start to finish. I was trying to figure out how to use my Walgreens Cash rewards, and they walked me through it step-by-step with zero attitude, even though it required extra verification and a couple extra taps on the register. Despite limited staffing at the front, they kept everything moving smoothly and stayed calm the whole time. It felt very old-school in the best way, disciplined, competent, and well-run like a good operational military team. Shout-out to Aly and Justin for solid, capable service. Good coffee, staff more concerned about ignoring the line…read more... I was a little shocked at the sign advising customers to not approach the counter until summoned. There were 5-6 people behind the counter, all loudly gossiping with each other, but only 2 seemed to be making a drink. As the line grew behind me, there was no attempt to help anyone. When it was finally my turn, the first eye contact was when the screen with tip choices was pivoted to me. Its a shame, as the brewed Columbian coffee I bought was good even though it was not fleshed brewed and sat in a pump thermos. I hope the owner understands how lucky they are that people seek out their business thats on a one way street...but if rude staff makes you feel ignored and like an outsider, Starbucks is much easier to find and be ignored at.
