I have been waiting 4-5 days for two prescriptions to be filled. I was finally told one was out of stock and would be filled soon. The other, I was told, was in stock and would be filled ASAP. This delay is unacceptable. I need my meds and if the pharmacy is unable to fill them in a timely manner, they should have told me this so I could have had them filled elsewhere. Not even worth a star of any kind. I was given an epic run around trying to fill a prescription after leaving the ER. Was from out of town, looking for a brand I knew. The store was in terrible shape, extremely run down. I was given a run around about my prescription and even the ER tried calling and no one picked up the phone after 15 minutes. I received a text this morning if I wanted to have my prescriptions filled. Almost 24 hours after I needed the meds. Epic let down....will never step foot or recommend Walgreens again. Go to parkway drugs. Very kind. Had my prescription filled within minutes. read more

This Walgreens is always clean and stocked whenever I visit every now and then! It is located in a great location in Utica, at the corner of happy and healthy. No complaints with pharmacy. They have kind and knowledgeable pharmacists. They helped me twice with receiving my medications speedily and got it ready within 30 minutes. Weekly ad coupons are great but even better with the paperless coupon in my balance rewards card. Make sure you sign up for it for additional discounts and points! read more

I have to say I have never had an actual bad experience with any of there locations from the one in Washington Mills that we frequent often, 2 the location on Mohawk Street in Utica here & there but I have never ever experienced a situation or better yet a person in charge of an establishment act in such a disrespectful, unprofessional intimidating manner like i did when I visited the Genesee Street store on 5/24/22.I was there for a simple pickup of medication from their Pharmacy 4my girlfriend who already called & had everything arranged so it should have been a simple matter. But instead it turned into a very bizarre event that had no reason 2occur had the store manager Act &/or think on a professional level as such a person in charge should. I walked into this Walgreens location in Utica, NY & I can remember my actual path because I was literally in the store for 30 seconds before what had happened occurred.. After walking through the big double glass doors & around the cashier station layout they have in most of their stores, I went down the seasonal aisle towards the back where the pharmacy is located , halfway down the aisle a bin of character themed socks caught my eye. I picked up one pair of spiderman socks to see if it could be a possible resell item for my E-commerce business I have &before I even got a chance to put the item, a very tall brut man came around the front of aisle verbally assaulting me shouting to" leave the store now!" Obviously I was taken back & caught off guard because I responded politely " Excuse me? Who are you talking to?" And this unprofessional fellow was the store manager come to find out. I then asked why? Which he proceeded to say such a stupid sentence that urkes me to repeat but he said " I don't need a reason, this is private property. I can kick you out for the color of your shirt if I don't like it or your hair, whatever" This is when my blood began to boil but I kept it down &said" Are you joking with me, do you think I'm someone else, I don't get it? He then said" I seen you put things in your bag" Which I had a small over the shoulder/neck mini bag on, two zippers both zipped and no item ever went near it or would've had time to even if I was a thief as he basically accused me if in front of entire store. So I said I haven't stolen a thing or been to this actual store in ages &offered the bag to him for inspection but he had no interest in such which seemed odd now looking back. Then an African American male employee came from the other direction of aisle rudely telling me to" leave the store now." I then said" I have a prescription I'm here to get & I didn't take a damn thing" The (SM) then said "No your not because you're leaving the store or I'm calling the cops"." I said great then we can show your completely lying for some unknown reason" Then he got closer to me which I took as an intimidation tactic & said that stupid line again about being private property and he can kick whomever out for whatever reason he deems fit. So the friend I was with entered store at this time BC it was taking longer than it should of and at the right moment mind you because I was going to say something out of character but instead I said "Why? Just give me the real reason because its definitely not for stealing ? After you just accused me of being a thief in public you at least owe me the real reason?" He just starts to walk away then stops to repeat this dame uneducated phrase as before about being able to do what he wants because it being private property in all. So my friend had to pickup my girlfriend's important medications that she was sick st home waiting for while I got verbally assaulted &my character defamed for no real reason. I did as asked & walked out to our car and made a video of the entrance as I narrated the insane events that just occurred. Then a cashier was walking out to her car so I politely stayed where I was & projected my voice to ask if she could please tell me"why? Just why?" And she said I don't know & walked to her car then sat in it till my friend came back out with what we came to that insane store for & left. I felt violated for no reason whatsoever and its not rite. They're a major corporation that should not allow their higher tier employees to act such a way to paying , law abiding customers. I will be pursuing this in any way possible till I get answers, an apology and so form of justice to make up for what they out us through for what, "Just because they can?' as the manager put it? Yesterday I dropped in at this Walgreens location to look for a few magazines we needed, and I was actually surprised at how many items they had in the store. Typically my experience with Walgreens is that they pack their shelves to the gills which renders the store difficult to navigate. This wasn't the case with this location. The store here was well stocked but not overwhelming. It was clean and items were easy to find. The only downside was that the clerk was a bit off putting, but overall not a bad shop. read more

Long wait in drive thru over 15 min. This is around noon. The last time my wait was under 5 minutes with a customer in front of me. That was in the evening after 7pm. Perhaps they were busy inside. Express pay does make it a lot easier and quicker when you do get to the window. Always friendly. 5 stars for the young man who works evenings!! read more
