These people are two faced liars. I applied for a title loan there and they asked for a bunch of…read morepersonal references. I gave them phone numbers of my landlord and a few relatives. They said they tried the numbers but got no response and therefore they could not give me a loan. Fine. I wasn't too happy about it but "it is what it is". Unfortunately, I forgot to get my driver's license back from them. I got a call from them later saying they had my license and that they would like to discuss the loan. When, I went there to get my license back, another lady that worked there told me they could process the loan and that all they needed from me was a working phone number. I decided to take them up on there offer and returned a few days later. This time the lady I had spoken to originally said that they still needed those references! When people apply for pay day/ title loans it is often for emergencies (medical or otherwise) You are not obligated to approve the loans, but don't play games with your customers!

I was not told that the final payment would be $500+ dollars. Despite the misleading name (Texas Car Title & Payday Loans), they do neither. They loan nothing. They charge extremely extravagant, absurd fees to provide a loan through a 3rd party lender. (Credit Access Business) *This was never stated during the loan process* Having done more research on this company, it's been discovered that they've been sued in federal court numerous times.
