She said you need to speak to my manager MELODY I asked what about his check was altered because that's what Jennifer said she said I don't know maybe the ink. I asked both of them what about his check is altered? I asked why didn't you call the number on the check? There is a specific bank number and why would you tell one of your returning clients that has his ID on file that you're gonna call the police on him if they return a check ? Both Melody and Jennifer had different stories as to why it was "altered" After a conversation with Melody, Melody said that I can have the check back so I told Jennifer. Jennifer hands me the check BOTH OF YOU WOMEN can't do your job right Because I still wanna know what about it was altered... Perhaps these snobs on an ego trip were basing it on their clients looks. (Jennifer is not one to judge because her teeth tell a story) Because all it took was a phone call to get a random persons check back to me. The worst part is, I asked for the check and they just gave it to me. They didn't ask me for an ID and just gave it to me. Someone else's check was given to me!!! Why aren't you calling the cops? DO NOT TRUST SPEEDY CASH IN PFLUGERVILLE This place is a total scam. I was told I would borrow $2,000 and pay it off in five monthly payments of around $560. They made it sound simple--four payments and I'd be done. But after paying over $2,500, they hit me with a surprise: I supposedly still owed nearly $2,200 more, bringing the total to almost $5,000 for a $2,000 loan. They never clearly explained this in writing. They rushed through a confusing explanation and handed me a piece of paper full of fine print that I didn't have time to read. It turns out they're charging around 300% interest--completely outrageous and predatory. On top of that, the staff there is extremely rude and unprofessional. They are not helpful, not polite, and honestly ruthless in how they treat people. Once they have you locked in, they don't care about fairness or communication. I needed $100 to pay a bill. I was informed that payment needed to be made in person in cash to avoid interest. The following day, I stopped by, and a guy in a pink shirt with a piercing, who had a bad attitude. he stated to me that I owed $117, and it was explained that it hadn't been past the 24-hour mark for interest charge. No explanation or apology was given on his end for not checking properly in his system. I didn't feel comfortable, and I request a document stating a $0 balance to ensure everything was good on my end. Attitude was given in return, and he made head movements and stated there was a receipt. It was suggested to him that he really needed to work on his customer service skills , and attitude. I was given back with a "bye." It was clear that customer service was not his strong suit, and his attitude and demeanor were not pleasant. Won't be retuning. read more

Diana is one of the worse! First of, she always leaves voicemails and you can't understand her at all, I had mentioned it to one of the girls who work there, and I just got a shrug from her. It's like they all know they give attitude and they can get away with it. My last draw was when I went in and asked to get a check instead of direct deposit, I had mentioned this to Diana, prior to her asking for my ID and information, once she said my total was going to be transferred, I told her no, I had asked you for a check, she immediately change her tone with me and said, "okay, we'll you don't have to be rude about it". I didn't know me correcting her was giving her attitude. She obviously was upset because she clearly "never" makes mistakes, and by me telling her no, I had asked you for a check was me being rude. My last draw was her throwing my id right after she said I didn't have to be rude. Where is their customer service. They are dealing with customers all day, and she had the nerve to talk to me the way she did and throw my things. 7/3/20 Someone used my gmail.com address to apply for a an online loan & tried to change it to procomail.com. This occurred on 5/6/20. I received an email from Speedy Cash that my loan documents were ready & confirm email address change. I had to complete a Theft Victim's Complaint and Affidavit to show it wasn't me who did it. No money was disbursed. Speedy Cash reported me to the credit bureaus. Speedy Cash AccountReview@SpeedyInc.com was unresponsive so I filed a BBB complaint in California to receive a response with them. I opened an account so I could get roles of quarters for parking instead of the long lines in the bank. I called today and I'm banned from Speedy Cash services! I can't even go in for quarters. They went through the regular process of getting a loan. however- once they deposited he funds- I was told my credit score was low, so they would deposit money in my account, then I was to return it so they could say I paid it back; then they required me to go purchase "gift cards" in the amount of what they deposited in my account. Everybody knows that Pay Day loans are about as disreputable and "scam" focused as exist. I went into obtaining a loan from Speedy Cash with that knowledge in mind, eager to pay off the entirety of the loan as soon as I had the available funds. I did so within 8 months of making this 2 year loan. That's when things get interesting. Despite the fact that I provided the service operator my current checking account & router numbers, despite the fact that Speedy Cash had my quite functional debit card number on file, they still screwed up the payment request and got a "closed account" statement back from my bank. My bank (Wells Fargo - another story, entirely) says that *nobody* tried to pull out any money from my account in the prior week in the amount that I had authorized Speedy Cash to do so. So... Despite utterly screwing up my pay-in-full request (and in the 6 days since, more than $65 in interest has accrued to my debt to them) - they never bothered to tell me that they couldn't get the payment through. So, here I am waiting, day by day, for the payment to show up on my checking account - and day by day, nothing. Meanwhile, the next deadline for me to make a monthly payment is rapidly approaching and I get NOTHING from Speedy Cash. No effort to communicate and clearly no choice to use ANY of the current means they have to withdraw the full payment for the entirety of my loan as I requested a week ago. At best, this business is utterly incompetent and completely disrespectful of the need to communicate with their customers. At worst they're crooks and criminals and thieves.
