Had kind of a weird experience. Half of my pollo panini was dry and kind of bland. The other half was tasty. (Maybe they went light on the sun dried tomato pesto on the first half?) In any case, I liked the ciabatta (looked like they used Acme) and the tasty half of the sandwich was good enough that I'd probably give them another try, as long as the line is short. Today I am so happy to say that I finally had authentic Italian Food and who would of guessed it came off a food truck. I had the salsiccia panini and it was excellent. It tasted just like our home made salsiccia at home with the red and green bell peppers. The panini had so much flavor and I loved the ciabatta bread, thin and crunchy. It brought back memories of being back home and having the whole family over for sunday dinners. Looking forward to trying more panini's in the future!!!! read more

First, I must admit that I'm not a food truck type of person. This may sound snobby but I've had some co-workers feel not so good after eating food off of other trucks so I'm very particular about what trucks I'll eat from. But when I saw how good the panini my co-worker brought back to his desk looked, I figured I should set aside my fear and try one. I'm a big fan of caprese salad so I tried the caprese panini. Wonderful!!!! Really good quality ingredients and the staff is always so nice. They are so good that I'll sneak out of my lunch time meeting to go grab one. I ordered the Prosciutto Panini Sandwich. The ingredients were tomato, basil, mozzarella, prosciutto, and a fig spread. The bread was toasted perfectly. The ingredients were delicious and the fig was a nice addition. It was a little light on the prosciutto but the sandwich was so flavorful that I really didn't mind. I added a side Caesar salad for an additional $2. The lettuce was fresh and crisp, the parmesan cheese was freshly shaved, and the croutons had a nice kick. While I was waiting for my food (about 10 minutes), I saw other orders coming out that looked delicious, including the special of the day - Butternut squash ravioli in a brown butter sage sauce. These guys visit my place of work every few weeks, so I get plenty of chances to try them. I usually order their Vegetariano sandwich, which is *great* - leaves me hankering for more all day. Also recently tried their eggplant parmigiana sandwich, which is tasty but nothing amazing. Friendly service; I think they remember me because I paid with $2 bills the first time they came (as far as I know, those bills are still taped to the tip jar). read more

I enjoyed their Italian sausage panini (Salsiccia) and for dessert their fantastic Dolce (Sicillian cannoli). I must say very tasty and hit the spot. Best panini I've had in a while. 2 stars for the vegetariano panini, but 4 stars for the cannoli. The panini appeared to be assembled with pre-prepared foods, which is fine, but they didn't toast it afterwards so the filling was lukewarm and the cheese didn't even melt. Also, it wasn't all that speedy, had to wait about 10 minutes, which for a food truck where you're just standing around, is kind of a long wait. The cannoli IS worth the wait. They fill it with a lusciously rich cream dotted with mini chocolate chips...heavenly. read more

I got a pollo sandwich - it came as a slab of cold chicken, a tablespoon of cold mushrooms, a tiny spot of pesto on one slice of greasy bread and cheese was melted onto the other slice of bread (the warm slice) ...so disappointing :( Not the hot sandwich I was hoping for. read more

I ordered a double-chicken pollo panini. The chicken was well flavored, and the bread was crunch on the outside with a little chewiness on the inside. Great texture. I was surprised that the vegetables and cheese were cold while the chicken was hot, though -- it made for a somewhat unsatisfying experience. I was not terribly unhappy with my $10 panini, but I don't think it was worth buying again. read more

It was OK. I got the meatball sandwich and there were not enough meatballs, I think that there were 2 maybe 3 (flattened) meatballs. Just not enough to fill the 6" ciabatta roll. The sauce and cheese were plentiful and tasty. But I want value for the buck at food trucks. The bread is very fresh so it had a nice crispy/chewy ratio and the meatballs inside were warm but as others have mentioned I don't think that the sandwiches are pressed in a panini press. read more

While "two minutes" turned out to be more like six the wait was well worth it. Out at the PAIFF they are one of the trucks contracting to serve the festival goers. I had their Caprese Panini- belissimo! I have always enjoyed Italian food yet- believe it or not, no, never yet had a caprese nor a cannoli. And they rocked. The cannoli will now rival my craving for rice pudding as a comfort food- and caprese- what an elegant and simple combination. Mozzarella,basil, tomato drizzled with olive oil on a warm ciabatta roll- I contemplated more hearty, greasy, meaty selections, the chicken, sausage, and meatball paninis- but this light & simple sandwich was just the exact mix of the right ingredients and hit the spot! Lucky I grow two of the main ones in my own garden - all I need are the ciabatta and mozzarella, & raid my pantry for the EVOO. This was the best lunch I've had in a long time! I had the Prosciutto Panini and it was perfectly balanced. The bread is what really makes a sandwich for me. This one was perfectly crunchy on the outside as a panini should be but still chewy and doughy on the inside. Very nice portion for $7.50. Most trucks offer meals much smaller size at $8-9 dollars or more! It had a nice big slice of tomato and mozzarella and they didn't skimp on the prosciutto. Basil and fig confit rounded this panini out very nicely and on top of that I added peppers that they had out as a condiment and WOW! Great lunch :) I even bought their cannoli and it was delicious! Not too sweet and I liked the crunch they added with the pistachios and choc chips. Perfect little sweet treat at the end. The staff was also very friendly and I liked the Italian themed music. read more

Amazing food! I had the Prosciutto Panini which comes with mozzarella, fresh basil, tomatoes and fig spread - IT WAS TO DIE FOR. I loved the balance between the sweet and the savory and the fact that it did not had 2 inches of stacked meat like regular sandwiches. I think the panini was a good size for a meal and good for the price. The cannoli cream was absolutely delicious - I would not change anything about it; perfect size, perfect amount of sugar vs. ricotta cheese. Pistachios add a nice touch. Bonus: customer service was exceptional - you will be taken care of. I highly recommend trying this food truck if you have the chance. read more

The prosciutto and fig panini was excellent. Something about the ciabatta bread that goes well with the ingredients inside. It was a really good mix.The canoli is pretty good too, although a little pricey at $2. I ate it in 2 bites, so basically $1 per bite for a canoli. I would give this place 5 stars if they would make their prices a little more reasonable. read more

Tried this truck out today with a co-worker. I ordered the penne bolognese. The service was great! The guy taking the orders was very pleasant and polite. The penne was $10, which normally I would have thought was rather expensive but the portion size is HUGE. Definitely worth the money and I will be going back. read more
