I put in an application for this little brown chihuahua that was found In rural southern Tennessee and eventually made his way to partners for pets. They approved my application in 30 minutes and I left immediately to go meet him. He still had a heart worm test that hadn't been done so he couldn't be adopted yet. They let me foster him until he passed his heart worm test and before we even brought him back for the heart worm test we knew that Jackson had found his forever home. My Lily was 13. My little chihuahua Betsy that I had before Lily was 14 when I lost her. Jackson is only 1 1/2 so I hope to have him for many years to come. They are so special at partners for pets. It's heartwarming to see such selfless people in the world. I recommend them to anyone needing or wanting to adopt a fur baby. He's not a pure bred chihuahua but he's mine and that's all that matters. If u don't have time I. Your life to take In a fur baby then consider volunteering occasionally or donating to them. They truly need all the support the community can give them!!! His name was wombat when we got him but only had the name for a day so we changed it and Jackson fits him perfectly! Thank you Partners for Pets for helping me with the heartbreak of losing my precious Lily !

She asked me to attend a "brushing class" which i did for free w her. I always felt confrontational w her like she didn't approve of me keeping my dog's hair long. Well it became apparent when she Hung up on me! I feel this was extremely unprofessional. I specifically asked her not to shave my dog and she did a 1 inch cut which to us is essentially shaved. Here are the pics. What's so bad is i feel she intentionally did this because she did not want to keep brushing my dogs long hair she said it was torturing her(the dog) and we weren't managing the hair well. I brush my dog's long hair w a wire brush and metal comb and then cut whatever knots out she has with scissors which i told her to do but her response was that will look choppy! So after expressing my displeasure of her decision to cut very short my long haired pup she hung up on me! Instead of cutting her hair so short, she should have said i am not comfortable with brushing and grooming her anymore and you should find a new cut. Instead she decided on her own to do this! And when my hubby picked our pup up that day, Jessica immediately said "she isn't shaved " which was apparently on my husband's shocked face, yes she was! Im not asking for my Money back but i do feel the owner of this "woman ran business" all woman only work there, should apologize for the unprofessional manner in which her employee conducted herself. Do not hang up on customers. In the future, Maybe take a class in how to be more professional in dealing with unsatisfied clients

My daughter recently donated lots of fairly high priced specialty cat food. Her elderly cat had liver disease. I went to the nearest donation spot as per their website. I requested a donation receipt but were told that they didn't have any. I sent an email about getting a donation receipt. and their response, from a Board Member: "We are a 501C, a non profit organization. We take donations in the donation barrels set up throughout the area. We do not give receipts, especially since most donations are anonymous." So, duh, most donations would be anonymous since there is nothing in place to identify a donor... seems like a lazy thing that could easily be rectified. But, nonetheless, donate your pet stuff here if you can.

I brought her in a harness and even offered to allow the tech to use her leash. the tech (whom I do not remember the name of) used a loop around her neck and was a little to forceful with pulling Molly into the back room. The tech was quick to correct the issue and just picked Molly up but I did not think that pulling of her collar was required. she was a scared baby. Outside of that incident Molly returned VERY happy she got good reports from the vet and it was a great visit. saved good money (according to the papers) so would recommend the puppy plan as it also gives me a piece of mind. thanks for everything and looking forward to future interactions. They socialize and ignore customers and pets unless the vet comes around to shape them up. They want you out of there as soon as possible and don't care for your pets. They are here for a paycheck. Our dogs have suffered for a month long due to the incompetence of the vet techs and staff. We have paid for the wellness plan but unfortunately will be moving to a better vet that has the capacity to remember pets and build relationships with owners. If you want personable and empathic service, do NOT go here. They will let your pets suffer because they'd rather do this job for a paycheck and social hour. Doesn't matter how jaded and used to a job you are, you give every being love and compassion. Not looking at them as a cadaver patient in schooling. Clinical, unfriendly, deplorable. Check my profile, I do not leave reviews. As someone who vets companies and reads reviews often, take heed to what I'm saying before deciding to bring your loved one here.

They made bad recommendations with my pet chinchilla and after a physical examination claimed he didn't have kidney stones. Unfortunately Lenny did pass away from a kidney stone. We gave him surgery somewhere else who used x-rays and actual medical equipment but it was too late because we were waiting on the UTI medications to kick in. I even warned the "doctor" that UTI medicine doesn't help kidney stones. We gave them the benefit of the doubt and kept using their service for our dog. We went in for a nail trimming for our dog today. The dog panicked and required muzzle and some wrestling. The dog proceeded to foam out of the mouth and choking up blood. She may have bit her tongue, but they didn't even examine it. They sent me home with the dog puking up blood on me, dry heaving, hyperventilating, and choking. I was a little concerned so I called to address my concerns by calling to bring the dog back. Emma was furious because they were near closing. So I said "I guess I'll take my dog home to puke all over herself". She responded with "I don't have to take that crap from anyone". I responded that " I was genuinely concerned and wasn't being rude".
