The actual bar in which they serve the wine is casual and warm and you can get affordable wine flights with four different wines for 15 dollars (pretty affordable!). The service is nice and the workers are hospitable. The actual wine and drinking experience was mixed though. I'm not a fan of dry wines so I opted for the sweet white wines, sparkling, and rosé. I found the mango tango white wine to be way too sweet and almost syruppy in texture. The muscat rosé also leaned a bit too sweet. My favorite was the dry forbidden sparkling wine which was a nice balance of acidity and sweetness with nice carbonation. The riesling was fine too but I had better. Since there wasn't enough space for a group of 15-20 people, we sat in the barn which got colder as the day passed. Some of us got the charcuterie board which I thought was decent but not as great as some others that I had. I think if you're nearby and you want some affordable wine, Enchanted Vine is great. I just wouldn't go out of my way to make the trek here.

I can vouch for our burgers being the best thing I'd eaten eaten all day and only regret we didn't get to visit again on our way home. It makes for some pretty photos, nice vistas overlooking the pond. The crux of this place is how underdeveloped it is. The bathroom situation is a Porta potty, there's a canopy for shade but it can only accommodate the smallest of parties. There's not enough outlets and lighting is limited. They tend to restrict their events to daylight hours and don't allow alcohol which makes for very quaint events. It's a mom and pop affair but that means they expect you to set everything up and tear everything down when you're done and the people who operate this are not the friendliest bunch. The improvements the venue does have seem pretty underwhelming. Think Home Depot special, definitely keep your expectations low on this one. All in all if you're thinking of this style of outdoors wedding you may be better served considering a park or similar setting. May be more cost effective without the hassle of dealing with the owners.

I asked if there was anything on the top (3rd) floor and the front desk tried calling house keeping to confirm if a room was ready. She couldn't get a hold of her by phone so she set off to personally locate her. Anyway, long story short we were able to get our top floor room. Both women working the front desk were soooo nice. They had sleds that we could borrow and take to White Sands. One of the ladies was so cute. She kept encouraging my almost 70 year old mother to do the sledding. (She did it!) They had a pretty nice selection of food for (complimentary) breakfast. We stayed at a Hyatt Regency in ABQ and they had no breakfast unless you wanted to pay for room service or go to the sit-down restaurant. The room istelf was clean and the beds were comfortable. No complaints. Totally recommend staying here.
