I was super excited to try out this new studio on ClassPass. I know I was supposed to arrive 15 mins early or so, the traffic held me back so much I just barely made it in time. The staff greeted me but did no effort to check if there were possible actions she could do to check if she could cancel me from class when she couldn't allow me in ( which I know they might cuz I've been in this situation) and she just simply said it'll be a late cancel so I'll have to get charged even tho I was there. It's my own fault for arriving late, but ppl also came last minute and they were allowed in. I'm super confused but the staff already moved outta her way to help someone else out and it felt like I was basically ignored. Worst customer service ever including inconsistent policies for customers. Getting money was more important than the cost of my word of mouth, review of studio or overall experience. Four friends who are members have been trying to get me to join. They invited me to come to a "cycle only" class to celebrate a birthday with the thought in mind that I might decide to join if I liked it. The mind body app wouldn't let me reserve a session because I hadn't met a prerequisite. When I called to attempt to utilize the free trial I was told it's only for "full experience" classes by the front desk. I played phone tag with the manager for a week only to be told the same thing. I ended up paying a $37 drop in fee so I could be there for my friend. When I attended someone else in our group of 6 had been able to utilize the free trial for the "ride only" class. When I approached the desk I was told "yeah, he went to our website directly and got around it". I was told I could not be refunded "they'd get me next time, if I took a full experience class". I've had several management positions including being a fitness manager for a gym. The customer service I received after repeated trying to give the staff a chance to make my experience positive was subpar. The only redeeming experience was the class and instructor. Sadly, the lack of customer service resulted in me not recommending this business to anyone. read more

The membership is too expensive and the business is not accommodating at all. They have no times that work for my schedule and are extremely difficult. The worst part is they make it impossible to cancel, they push heavy sales to convince you to downgrade or do anything but cancel. They didn't consider that I'm a student and have a very tight schedule and budget. I've been trying to cancel since JULY and they won't let me no matter how many times I've tried. My friend brought me for a free first class and I ended up joining with the promo of 50% off my first month. I signed up for the 8 sessions / month option, which costs $169. The membership prices are expensive, but pretty standard with other fitness studios around the area. As someone who has never taken workout classes before, SPENGA was the perfect place to start my fitness journey! The classes consist of 20 minutes cycling, strength training, and yoga. They also offer 45 minute strength training classes. I love how you get a variety of workouts with each class never being the same. The community and instructors are very welcoming and supportive of your individual goals, and booking classes using their app is super easy. Overall, I've loved each class I've taken and think it's such a great, holistic way to workout! read more

After I signed up for a "free" intro class I was either texted, emailed or even phoned with "when can we schedule you for your intro workout daily until I finally booked a session for that weekend but decided I had too much in my plate so canceled two days before my scheduled intro workout! The emails, texts and phone calls resumed so I booked another free intro session but this time they wanted a credit card number since I canceled the previous week they said at the last minute I say two days before! read more

Great workout. You start with Spin on the bike, then move to strength with weights then yoga to stretch. I'm not in the best shape so it continually challenges me, but you also can go at your own pace. I like that they have alternate moves In Strength if you have bad knees like me so I can always have an option. Place is very clean, they have HEPA air filters and UV lights and and the staff cleans your station after each session. Highly recommend! read more

I'm surprised there aren't more reviews for this place. I tried a few other local studios and health clubs at this price point before finding Spenga. This is the only one I feel is worth every penny. It has checked all the boxes for me - cycling for cardio, free weights, trx bands, medicine balls etc. for strength training and yoga for flexibility. Great all in one workout. Energy and personalities of the staff are genuinely great. The amenities are well spaced out in locker, bathroom, shower sections. private parking lot so never an issue finding a spot or dealing with meters or garages. This is also THE most sanitary exercise facility I've ever worked out at - hands down! Do not sleep on this place. read more

I joined this gym about 7-8 months ago when I moved to the area. I instantly fell in love! The instructors are awesome and they all offer something unique. The 20min spin, 20min strength, then 20min yoga is a perfect combo. It's a great way for me to get in my cardio, strength, and mental relaxation/decompression. It's really pretty genius. The studio is super super clean and always smells good. The amenities are great. I'm really happy to have found this place. It's a very supportive environment and I think people of any skill level or athletic level can get something out of it. You can completely adjust the difficulty to what works for you. I got excited when I heard 2 girls walking out of the studio complaining about how hard the class was because I love a good challenge. Didn't realize the only challenge I had to deal with was with the receptionist's poor attitude. Definitely leaves a bad taste in my mouth when I drive 1 hr round trip stuck in morning traffic to be told that they would not be able to accommodate me. I arrived 15 minutes prior with 5 minutes spent looking for parking in their crowded lot. The receptionist claims that they usually need first timers to arrive 20 minutes prior (the email said 15) but she said they can try to accommodate those who arrive 10 minutes prior while making a show looking at her watch, "But you're only 8 minutes prior now." Checking in and listening to her spiel took 2 minutes but she was unaccommodating. It didn't feel nice listening to her mockingly say she can create a profile for me now after rejecting rescheduling/refunding me. I guess my only tip is to watch out for their 10 min policy (or was it 20 or 15 min?) when it's your first time! Personally, I would not be coming back due to the crowded parking lot, far distance, and lack of empathy in their employees. read more

I was super excited to try this studio through ClassPass.. I arrived to the parking lot & was walking to the studio from the parking lot at exactly 8:30am. Walked into the studio at 8:32/8:33am for the 8:45am class. Told the staff my name & was instantly told that I was "late" and considered a "no show" without a greeting followed by multiple "i'm sorry but unfortunately" "we can't do anything." They told me that I would be charged with the no show fee even through I had obviously physically shown up. They proceeded to say that I had to be there not only 15 minutes early but 15-20 mins early and I understand that due to explaining the process of the studio and etc. But the fact that I had walked in only 2-3 mins "late" and still be charged is overboard to me. I understand that there is a policy in place but I was in the lot on time WALKING and it just took me MINUTES to walk in yet they "couldn't take me in". read more

Fantastic work out! I initially started going here 4 months ago and it's been the best decision for my fitness goals. The workout includes cardio, zone 2, strength training and yoga for stability and injury prevention. I have noticed that i am getting stronger and getting a little more muscle definition, something that i was not able to achieve with any "all in one" workouts. I like that I get everything accomplished in just 1 hour. I also like that I they reserve a dedicated bike and weight station for each person in class so you never have to hustle to squeeze in somewhere. The cleanliness level is unparalleled, they literally wipe down equipment as soon as you are done using it. The environment is very accessible to new comers, there is a good mix of people there and it never feels intimidating. If it's your first time, make sure to arrive 30 minutes early, but you never have to come even 2 minutes early after that! read more
