I am the rookie and one of the oldest, 54 and feel like I don't belong. I have done 5 am, 5:30 and 6:30 pm. I have been in a few classes with what I call the 1%ers. These people are the fittest people that I have ever met. They are also some of the nicest. I don't know why I get anxious to go to class because no one judges me. All they do is help push me to be better than I was 60 minutes ago. I'm sure in time that the anxious feeling will go away. I know with their help that I will become the best version of myself. My setback is my shoulders which limits me severely in doing many lifts. They keep me as positive as possible so I don't give up. I can truly say they care. If you have any doubts about joining this gym, they will put them to rest. All you have to do is take the classes for a week. Great instructors and great athletes. I feel lucky to have found this group of people.

Place is fantastic!…read more This gym has more than you'll ever need at a price you can afford. Basketball court, cardio, indoor/outdoor pool, café, tons of equipment, free weights, dry and wet sauna, and so much more. Equipment is always well taken care of and never "out of order" for too long. Members and workers both always seem warm and welcoming. I pay around $70 for my fiancé and I both. But I know some companies have deals to make it even cheaper. Price is extremely reasonable for the amount of amenities they have. Free classes but also classes you can pay for. They also have multiple locations in Omaha and surrounding cities/states. With a membership you get access to multiple locations which is great when you travel. Overall 5/5 stars!

This location has been in the process of being remodeled for about 2 years. It now has taken on the look of an outdated cruise ship. New bikes for the cycle class are already malfunctioning including the pedals coming off during the class. There is lack of privacy in the shower area of the woman's locker room and corporate response was " it works well in our other locations." The indoor pool has been being repaired for about 1 1/2 years! They are a chain and the gym members are just a number.

Staff is very friendly and welcoming and that doesn't happen much anymore at places! The staff gave me ideas of what would be best suited for workouts with a bum shoulder. All my questions and concerns were answered by front desk staff and the manager with smiling faces, as I never felt like I was an inconvenience to them. If you haven't given HotWorx (especially this location) a try, I would highly suggest it and if you have before and left, think about coming back as this team they have is outstanding! Awesome job HotWorx staff!

Employees flat out lie about customers, employees hang up on customers then claim it's because customers cussed them out even when it's 100% a lie (this is legally called defamation). I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Continuing to lie by saying I was disrespectful, cursed them out. Not once did I raise my voice or speak disrespectful when in fact it was the exact opposite. The young employees here are incredibly disrespectful, will hang up on you, refuse to help you or get you in touch with management. When reaching out to other locations managers have told me they are required to get you in touch with a manager, these employees just hang up and refuse to do so. I would like specific examples of how I was disrespectful. Something they can't do because they lie and are unprofessional, other reviews back this up. I have reached out to corporate as well as the franchise owner.

This is the third HotWorx that I've worked out at and the second I've been a member at. I was…read morefortunate enough to become a member here before they officially opened so I became a founding member. I joined when I lived a little bit closer but stayed a member because I enjoy the convenience of being able to schedule a workout when it fits my schedule and determine what type of workout I'd like to do that day. When I first signed up here I only had a few of the workout pieces that they offer for certain classes. I was encouraged by the associate that I spoke with and set up my membership with to try HotBands and HotBuns together. She shared that she gained the most muscle doing those classes consistently. I obliged and continue to push myself even today in those classes together. I do feel stronger by pairing those classes. I also enjoy HotStretch, a newer class that is more of an active stretch class and helps me to feel much more flexible. I also workout at home and at another gym so having the option to come here to sweat it out a little more and to have designated time just for stretching has helped me with my mobility and daily life. This location has ample parking, ample bright lights when you happen to come here when it's dark. There are some great snack and restaurant businesses around as well. If you haven't tried a HotWorx workout it might be a good idea to check it out. One of the things I enjoy about the ISO workouts is that you get a seated meditation portion at the very end before finishing the class. It makes me feel centered and ready to take on the rest of the day! Another great thing about HotWorx is that they have an FX zone of free weights, TRX straps, battle ropes, a workout bench, kettle bells, and bars to do dips. So essentially, you can get full body workouts in their saunas, rowing, cycling, elliptical, ISO workouts, and free weights all in one place! This particular gym gives me a peacefulness I was unable to find elsewhere and that's one of the biggest reasons it keeps me coming back for more.

The carido area is very spacious and offers a ton of machines though they can all become full fast during peak time. There seems to always be an area in front of a mirror to life and space to stretch on mats. It reminds me of the old westroads club. The kids daycare is great, the attendants are super sweet and caring for the kids. I don't love the locker room, but it does have ample lockers and rear end access to steam room sauna and pool. At the moment the splash pad is down so I don't have a reference on the pool but hope its a nice get away for us when the winter blues come around. Overall for the price it's a great deal to get the kids out and a work out in.

Unfortunately, there are always issues with the main attractions of this place. The pool has always got issues. It's gotten to the point where they should give credit back to members. There are 10 YMCAs in the Omaha Metro area. This is the closest one to where we live. It's the smallest center with the most members. Might be time for new management.
