Awesome food here! Great prices and delicious food, which is perfectly seasoned (no need for salt, which is always a good sign). I've loved every meal I've tried here. Traditional east Indian cuisine. Great quality, fresh ingredients every time. Service is not spectacular - nothing compared to Sitara's friendly service - but also not bad. The food is awesome though, which keeps me coming back. The best part about this restaurant (which is a big part of the reason why I love coming here) is that they have something for everyone, including my meat-eating family, and myself (vegan). They have an entire vegan menu section, which is amazing! So I don't have to worry about asking for anything special without meat/dairy/eggs. They have a ton of vegan/veggie options available for anyone who eats a plant-based diet. It's really forward-thinking for Sarnia and great to see that these options are available for us, especially because it's becoming more and more popular all the time. We really appreciate this vegan section of the menu, and we have told all of our vegan and vegetarian friends, who have gone as well because of this and love it too. It's really great to feel included and not isolated while going out to dinner, and the animal-free options here are all amazing and don't lack in flavour at all! I really recommend checking this place out, whether you're meat-eater, plant-eater or something in between. You will love the food and leave feeling satisfied, happy and full. But don't just take my word for it - try it and you will love it too. :) Thanks from our family, we'll be back again soon!

Small dining area…read more The booths seats look worn down with black duct tape and could definitely use some reupholstery. The women's bathroom floor is quite slippery, easy to take a spill. Paper towel dispenser is not working either. Ordered two lentil soup (medium and spicy), Chana masala, butter chicken, veggie korma and Dharka Tal, all medium and a garlic chicken. $72.54 They charged us for Kirkland brand Alkaline water. The lentil soup is spicy, even for medium. It's tasty. I like the cilantro. Butter chicken, Chana masala and the Dharka Tal were good. The veggie korma was okay, some green beans that didn't work for this dish for me. The man behind the counter asked my husband if everything was okay after we got our soup. He asked my husband again how everything is after we got all of our main entrees. I forget that my opinion doesn't tend to matter at Indian restaurants at all. This is the second time in a month at an Indian restaurant that staff only asked my husband. The younger staffer asked us both how the spice level was and if we wanted any dessert. He looked us both in the eye too. He took our order and brought out our food to us. It's a shame that the more mature guy has no clue that I am the one that tends to pay the dinner bills out.

Not a great experience for our first time at this restaurant. Went during Labor Day weekend when…read moreit was fairly empty. We ordered dinner portions of Pink Garlic Chicken along with Aloo Gobi. Pink Garlic Chicken - While the chicken tasted alright, more on the sweet side, it was served on an appetizer size plate, same size they use to serve their 2 samosa appetizer. We clarified with the waiter if the plate we received was the appetizer portion, which is also on the menu. He clarified it was the dinner portion he put in for our order. We finished it in less than three bites. Quite an expensive dish for $13.99 based on what you receive. Aloo gobi - we ordered the dinner portion and it was also initially served in a small appetizer size bowl with 90% potato and literally one spoonful of cauliflower. Our server was kind enough to take it back to the kitchen and it came back out in a larger serving dish with a normal amount to cauliflower. The taste of this dish was also ok, also on the sweeter side. We left hungry and ended up at another nearby restaurant to complete our dinner for the evening. I recommend asking what size portion you're receiving before finalizing your order to make sure you get enough food especially for the prices they charge.

My best friend and I used to go to the gym in the same plaza, then immediately undo at least some of that responsible behavior by coming here for lunch or dinner. Balance, right? I usually get the butter chicken, which I know is a classic choice, but theirs is the best I've had after trying quite a few places. Rich, comforting, flavorful, and exactly what I want it to be every time. The service is also incredibly fast. It feels like you blink and your food is there, but in a reassuring way, not a "should I be concerned?" way. Dining in is especially worth it because the portions are generous. I usually have enough to eat there and still take home another two or three servings. Their mango lassi is amazing, and absolutely spring for the garlic cheese naan. It is the best. Overall vibe is relaxed and friendly.

The waiters timing was perfect, we never felt bothered he checked in on us just enough. The food was family style and there was SO MUCH and for a great price! We tried the tandoori mixed plate, chicken fried rice, and garlic cheese naan. It was all delicious and afterward we learned that their butter chicken and garlic cheese naan are their 2 most popular dishes. We can't wait to return to try them!
