Came here on the way home from Toronto. We came here about 20 minutes before closing without realizing it, but they still let us eat. Ordered the chicken korma lunch special. Came with naan and rice. Really good food. A first for me as I've never tried Indian food. My buddy is Indian and he helped me order. I didn't know what I was doing. I forgot all the names but whatever it was was amazing. I ordered it extra spicy and it did the trick. It was a pain though because we only had American cash and they didn't take cards. Who doesn't take credit or debit cards these days? read more

Excellent! I drive in from London once a week, the food and service are always just what I expect. The Naan is the very traditional style naan, the chicken vindaloo is excellent with tender chicken and spice is just right. The service is fast, I was in one night and they had a large party, I was in a rush that night on my 2nd visit, I never said that I was in a rush, they got me my meal very quick, they sensed it. Sign of great service. The other Indian food location in town I would have ask for everything. The rice was very fresh. Getting busier every visit. Its well worth the drive from London, I am addicted. You will be too once you go... I Love an authentic Indian food dinner... Must eat Here!! read more

Awesome food here! Great prices and delicious food, which is perfectly seasoned (no need for salt, which is always a good sign). I've loved every meal I've tried here. Traditional east Indian cuisine. Great quality, fresh ingredients every time. Service is not spectacular - nothing compared to Sitara's friendly service - but also not bad. The food is awesome though, which keeps me coming back. The best part about this restaurant (which is a big part of the reason why I love coming here) is that they have something for everyone, including my meat-eating family, and myself (vegan). They have an entire vegan menu section, which is amazing! So I don't have to worry about asking for anything special without meat/dairy/eggs. They have a ton of vegan/veggie options available for anyone who eats a plant-based diet. It's really forward-thinking for Sarnia and great to see that these options are available for us, especially because it's becoming more and more popular all the time. We really appreciate this vegan section of the menu, and we have told all of our vegan and vegetarian friends, who have gone as well because of this and love it too. It's really great to feel included and not isolated while going out to dinner, and the animal-free options here are all amazing and don't lack in flavour at all! I really recommend checking this place out, whether you're meat-eater, plant-eater or something in between. You will love the food and leave feeling satisfied, happy and full. I'm not someone who normally seeks out Indian. My wife loves it and she drags me along. Since our first outing (3-Mar), I've been back once on my own (1st time!, 9-Mar) for a take-out lunch) and we had take out again on 12-Mar. Disclaimer: we live north/Port Huron (recently transplanted from Chicago) and are not affiliated in any way with Spice 'n Ice, just happy to have found it I'm omnivorous, but I gotta say that I love my meat -- the Lamb Vindaloo was outstanding. I asked for it spicy, and was warned by the waitstaff (properly) and I was not disappointed. Wonderfully spiced, not hot for the sake of being hot, but so full of different flavors it was a challenge to separate and identify them (failing miserably, I'm sure :-) Excellent, I would ask for medium spice next time :-) be careful what you wish for. The appetizer platter was filling, varied and tasty! The tandoori chicken was properly cooked, too often I've had it dried out. This was moist, deliciously prepared. There is a wide variety of dishes and we look forward to trying them all. The atmosphere is more neighborhood, come as you are... casual. The other guests have been friendly and helpful -- this is not as much a place for a quiet intimate, romantic, dinner as it is to get together with friends and enjoy the night. That being said, we were there by ourselves and had a great time. Service was attentive, without hovering or being overbearing -- no, "how's your dinner" so often you stop enjoying it. Yet when we wanted something, we had someone at the table. Drinks were tasty and there was a nice selection of beer & cocktails. Definitely a "go to" destination although we've not yet been to the "competition". Although easy to get to and parking is plentiful in their lot, it is in a strip mall on the south end London St and potentially easy to miss -- look for Arby's and it's the next building west. read more

Undoubtedly the best Indian restaurant in Sarnia. Have used them for catering functions and also for large take outs to feed my family and to save (freeze) for later.
