If one were to get thirsty after the supplied drink was consumed, there was a limited bar serving soda, beer, and a few choices of mixed drinks. Dennis, the tour guide was the bar tender. The tour included viewing several islands with a discussion of the various homes and buildings on them. The star attraction was Boldt Castle We were given 1.5-hrs to tour the Castle, and it was amazing. The other disembarkment was at a historic lighthouse, which tourists could climb the 256 steps for a grand view of the St. Lawrence River. We had a great time, and I recommend to anyone who visits the Alexandria Bay or Clayton area to jump on board

The launch itself is just outside of town, easy to access and use but, more importantly, the guys who run this place are the best! My husband tore his hamstring just before our vacation in Clayton this year. Nevertheless, he needed to launch his small sailboat or he would have been miserable the whole week. The guys jumped right in, without even being asked, raised the mast and launched the boat for him. As he sailed off, they reassured me they'd be there to help get it back on the trailer at the end of the week. And they were, again with good cheer and great efficiency. I'm betting you couldn't find more helpful, knowledgeable, friendly service anywhere. Oh, and the rates are insanely reasonable! Seriously, these guys made my vacation.

They examined it quickly to determine if parts needed to be ordered.
