Had a Spiderxx person come by my door even though we had a no soliciting sign. I only came to the door because I thought it was my friend who I was waiting for. Anyways he offered me services at a discounted rate because he's already in the neighborhood. Probably a lie but a good way in to make it seem that I'm getting a discount. Regardless he kept on talking. I interrupted him advising him I in the middle of work and I have to return to my office and I did it politely. He then kept on talking and did not acknowledge what I stated. I interrupted him again and then he said "So you like bugs then?" Anyways I didn't realize putting words in my mouth and being rude was a normal tactic. Great job I'll make sure to let me neighbors know to skip the bug guy with the segway. read more

I had trees I tried to save from a certain beedle. they thought they would save my trees and more died. when I tried to cancer, I had to go through hoops. Terrible company who doesn't take responsibility for mistakes their technicians make. Technician left my dog gate open during a service call, which led to my dog escaping and a "dog at large" fine and citation. "Jeff" from the Urbandale, IA office doesn't believe they had any fault in my dog getting out and the legal fine/fees that occurred even though they are the ones that left the gate open. You'd think after having an account with them for over 3 years they'd try to write their wrong, but they wouldn't even admit they did any wrong... Jeff actually said, "we won't accept any blame." How do you have zero blame when you left a dog gate open? They also conveniently lost my review of their technician that I submitted the next day and are using that as a reason to not take responsibility. Waited until I had to go to court and figure out the fine/citation before reaching out again and because of the time gap they magically can't take blame. Company has zero accountability for their actions. read more

They warp you up with a discount ! And tell you hey for the 12months you will only pay 58.33 every 2months = 349.98 right? Then you look at your bank and find out is 52.96$ but every month!! =635.52 How they get you is they get your info and the have you do a signature but in that signature is the agreement ! That they will send you by email and not even read it or talk to you about it ! Then!! When the time comes for them to come out ! Guess what?! They don't show up even when you make the appointment and set your time on the side for them!! Then!! You have to call and find out what happen ?! But they hit you with ! ( sorry we miss you ! Here at the areas that we did and what happen) But how?! When they didn't even show or call you to let them in!! Long story and NOT SHORT ! Do yourself a favor and cancel PS no no matter how far you are in the agreement the cancellation still the same $229 even when I have 4months left you are too think they would subtract those 4 months of no service what a service! read more

I tried Fenix pest control as they claimed to do better work for less- omg was I wrong. Spidexx is light years ahead of the competition-I will go back as soon as two more visits by this crappy company Fenix are done. read more

I recently switched from spidexx to rise pest control and let me tell you the improvement I seen was unbelievable not to mention the price was ridiculously lower. They don't charge extra for added services and are very friendly compared to spidexx. Switching to Rise is a no brainer and I'd highly recommend switching from Spidexx if you can. I've had to end business with this "pest control" company. (Hired them last year mainly due to Power Spraying outside of house. They have a power spraying hose but it puts out no more than a hand sprayer applies.) I'd been in pest control for years, so I gave a small, local business a chance. They came this year and made an outside application during rain and snow coming. Rain immediately washes the chemical away and snow...It's too early! Bugs don't crawl on the snow. When the snow melts, the chemical washes away. They did the right thing and are refunding my money for the service and we are parting ways. I've revised my post since talking to the owner. read more
