As of 1/9/19 it is still closed for remodeling and the phone number has been disconnected. I'm hoping new management comes with the remodel because they were SO slow and disorganized before. Very poor staffing for one of only 2 full-service car washes in town. The other one is West Coast Customs which is nearby and does an EXCELLENT job. Not as cheap and you need an appt or the wait can be pretty long but at least there's a backup while Spiffys is closed. read more

So, until last week, I had not washed my car in...let's just charitably say a long time. Not wanting to deal with it ourselves in the heat, the husband and I headed over to Spiffy's. Their website offers a pretty wide variety of options, but the only one on the beat-up sign outside is the manager's special for $24.99. This is a pretty good medium level package, including vacuuming, exterior wash and tire polish, and a basic interior wipe-down. They also have a Yelp coupon for $1 off for checking in there. Plus, the receipt says if it rains on the day of your wash, within 2 days of your service you can come back and they'll give you an exterior wash for free. The end result turned out great! My car hasn't looked this shiny in a long time. The wheels are all nice and clean again and overall it just looks its best, which is really nice. Plus I didn't have to spend twice the time sweating it out trying to do it myself. However, my one issue with Spiffy's is that it's completely unclear where you are supposed to go and what the procedure is. We pulled up in the back by the vacuum station (where you start), and though there were plenty of guys out there, no one even came over to ask what we wanted. I eventually found the indoor waiting room, but the cashier seemed completely confused when I asked how exactly we got going on getting a car wash. Given that this is the first step in, you know, taking my money, I was kind of annoyed. That said, the whole thing took about 45 minutes and they have an air conditioned waiting room. So I will certainly be back next time my car needs a wash! read more

Showed up two Sundays ago for a full service wash. Nope. No full service on Sundays. How about putting that on your website? Showed up this Saturday at 815am. Nope, they are open but no full service until 9am. Uhhh maybe put that on your website. I kill 45 minutes at the grocery store then come back. "Greeted" by a few young gentlemen with all the energy of zombie heroin addicts. Pull up, "that'll be $35". Uh, ok I thought there were options as low as $22 for full service, but whatever, I've been waiting weeks for a good full service wash so I'll pay it. Weak exterior prep prior to drive through. Wait in the empty lobby. A very short time later a zombie says in passing, "all set". Wow that was quick. I discover why. Exterior not really dried. They didn't even bother to open the suv hatch to clean or vacuum. Leaves left in door handles. 2/3 of dashboard wiped. In short, really crappy job. One of the zombies sees me looking at their handiwork and to be fair asks if they can correct. Since I didn't want to bother with them more I just asked about the $35 version. I asked "if you were coming here would you get the $35 version or the $22 version?" He looks straight at me with his sleepy eyes and says, "if it were me I wouldn't come here at all." Quite a testimonial from your own zombie employee. They are the only full service place in town so if you want it done right, do it yourself. read more

I went to have my car professionally cleaned about a year ago for a special occasion. They did a poor job, and after the manager took a look, he assured me it was an off day and if I would come back anytime in the future, they would redo it. My wedding is Saturday, and for once I was free on a day other than Sunday, so I called to ask them if I could cash in my free cleaning. They asked if I had the receipt, I said yes, they told me to come over. When I arrived, they checked the receipt and told me they couldn't honor a year old receipt. I was upset, but in a hurry to do errands and told them I would go to another location (since I had a bad experience before). As I pulled away, a manager stopped me and said they would honor it this once (why would there be a second time unless they did a terrible job?). When I returned for my car, I discovered my back seat mat was flipped over, and the top of it was still covered in a pile of some sort of dirt. I asked the manager about it, assuming maybe the re-do didn't include cleaning the carpets, but he told me it did and took my car back to do that part again. While he was gone, my family and I could hear the other workers talking about how my receipt was from last year. I was embarrassed and offended, because I was leaving when they told me it was too old, and then they were the ones who stopped me to say they would clean the car. When I got the car back, the dirt was still there. I took my hand vacuum at home and cleaned it myself along with in the hatchback on the carpet (the same place that had been so bad last time that the manager offered the future re-do). After this, and hearing another irate woman pointing out to the crew what a poor job they'd done on her car, I will not be returning for my next pre-special occasion cleaning. Two stars for at least honoring the re-do. read more

I don't know how well the actual wash is (yet), but I can tell you that this place is extremely slow and unorganized. I was driving through and stopped to get gas, when I washed my windshield at the gas station. That "wash" made things worse, so I pulled in here to get a basic exterior wash. It was a little crowded, but I didn't think it was that bad. I came inside and paid for my wash and waited. And waited, and waited. It has been 45 minutes since I paid, and I'm still siting in the waiting room. Cars come out of the wash tunnel, but then stop the rest of the cars behind them while the prior vehicle waits for someone to come get it. Maybe I'm spoiled, and maybe the wash itself will be worthwhile, but from a convenience factor, I cannot recommend Spiffy Car Wash. read more

Normally I love coming to this car wash. I get the cheapest wash which is 7$ because it gets everything that I need done to my car . The guys will scrub the front end and the wash takes care of everything else . Today one guy barely threw water on the front and wiped over the front once before proceeding to push my car through the wash . When I came out there were bugs and everything on the front . I asked him about it and he said the cheap wash doesn't come with anything to get the grime off which is strange considering they have always scrubbed it for me . Then he proceeded to try and sell me towels to clean it . They have no one in the office if you're looking to purchase something inside . Overall just disappointed this time. read more

Had my leather seats cleaned, and the service was awesome. Every inch of my car was cleaned/vacuumed in addition to the seats (even the outside had been cleaned off). The prices on the website aren't updated though, so expect to pay a lot more than what is listed. read more

The last 2 times I have been there I was extremely disappointed. After paying $20 and 45 minutes of waiting, there was still dirt/trash all in the seats and floor mats and all over. Worst vacuuming job ever. Spots all over the windshield. They have changed ownership and it shows. I won't be back. read more
