A 1.5 star rating (24 reviews) made me reconsider. The saving grace was a buddy who had an awesome experience with them last year trading in a bike and buying another. I decided to go check them and the bike out. Let me say that everyone was courteous, actually friendly and helpful. Mike Ballard took over from Daniel, the Internet contact I had been working with to schedule a test ride, and the sales manger (sorry cool dude from VT, I forgot your name) stayed with me throughout and answered my myriad of questions about the bike. A complete safety inspection of the bike was done before I test road with Dave, a very professional rider, and when I got back no one was pushing the bike sale. It was like a bunch of dudes just talking about riding. They were in no hurry and I felt like they were truly interested in my concerns and questions regarding the pre-owned motorcycle. They were happy to negotiate the sale like you would hope all your vehicle purchases would go, and it was super easy to get to a price both they and I were happy with. SO, while most smooth transactions don't ever get posted as a review and every bad experience is lit up like a roadside sign, I figured I would add a good plug for them. BTW, I typically never answer review requests, so this is a one off that I thought needed to be posted in their favor. It's hard to come back from poor reviews. I hope this helps others and encourage buyers to work the "art of the deal" and find that compromise where both parties get something. Thanks RideNow Powersports and your entire staff.

I do not write negative reviews often, but I feel other consumers should be aware of my experience…read more I bought a brand new 2026 Kawasaki KLX 230r, expecting it to arrive new and free of defects. What I got was that, before I even got to test ride it, I found a stripped plastic mounting point, a deformed washer, and a bolt that fell out. To find issues on a brand new dirt bike was appalling. What really upset me about the situation was the conversation I had with management. Instead of sympathizing with how unacceptable it is to send a customer a defective brand-new dirt bike or apologizing for my situation, I was told they could come get it Saturday morning and would have it fixed and returned to me Monday morning. Thank you for providing transportation, but that response failed to address how I was upset about losing my BRAND NEW dirt bike before even trying it out. It didn't address how I spent my hard-earned money on a NEW bike, not a bike that needs repaired immediately. If someone had sat down with me and apologized while discussing how they were going to make this right, I would have been understanding. Instead, I felt like my concerns were being handled as just another day in the office rather than the large quality problem that it was. I WILL give credit to Tony in sales. He was excellent during my entire buying process. He was professional, helpful, and truly cared about giving me a great experience as a customer. I have no frustrations with Tony whatsoever. My issue is 100% with how management handled the situation post-sale. When someone spends thousands of dollars on a BRAND NEW dirt bike, they deserve better than what I got. They deserve not to find defects before taking it home for the first time, and they deserve someone who actually cares when they reach out for help. I truly hope management changes how they treat customers who run into issues like this. Because how you handle problems is usually remembered more than the problem itself.
