Tucked away off Kendall and university right by wing stop and GameStop there's a neatly decorated facility called Los Tacos. You really can't see the inside but the outside gives it a nice outside lunch experience. I finally went inside and saw the space! Not only that but they do have TVs and have the games on. Again this place has lots of potential. I don't know if it's just advertising or just not enough word of mouth but the food is good! Just missing agua fresca! But check the photos out and see for yourself . Definitely give it a go!

First let's talk price - this burrito comes in just shy of $18. $18 is steep but with the economy being what it is I'm willing to roll the dice and pray the food is decent. This my friends was not it. Burrito was almost as flat as a pancake. The smallest chunks of meat were inside (maybe 1oz worth if I'm being generous). There was maybe a sliver of beans and cheese? Mostly this burrito was rice and again, so thin that not that much of that either. The actual chile???? Where was it???? Also so small it was like a side note. This burrito was so thin and lacking in ingredients that it should have been $8 dollars at most. So my question is, is this the norm or were they just running out of ingredients tonight? Positives I will give this place - tortilla for the burrito was fresh and delicious - just enough of a crisp on it too. The red and green salsa were both fire. They had a heat to them that you don't find much anymore. Overall - I'd come back for a taco since they are small and open faced but Never ever ever ever a burrito.

Went here on my son's recommendation, and it was a good one!…read more The setup is similar to Chipotle, with a pick-as-you-go kitchen where you tell them exactly what you want while watching them make your food. One major difference though: this is authentic Mexican food. We paid about $50 for two burritos, chips, and two large aguas frescas. Honestly, we could have split one meal. The amount is easily enough for two meals. They definitely do not skimp on the meat. I had the carnitas, and my son had carne asada and shrimp, chips, a strawberry lemon & a pineapple orange agua fresca I forgot to ask for cheese until after they had wrapped my burrito, and they gave me a whole container of it. I opened my burrito back up to add the cheese and figured I might as well add the salsa while I was at it. Perfect additions (in my opinion. Put it what you like) Once we hit the halfway point, my son wisely wrapped up the rest of his burrito to take home. Since I was headed straight to the airport and didn't want to carry mine, I decided to power through. Mistake. I made it maybe another quarter of the way before I had to admit defeat. I also couldn't finish my strawberry-lemon agua fresca, and since I knew I couldn't take it through airport security, my son went home with two delicious, practically full aguas frescas. You could tell this was a good local spot. We arrived just before the lunch rush, and soon groups of people started coming in wearing construction gear, scrubs, and other work attire. It clearly has a strong local following. Classic Mexican music playing through the speakers completed the atmosphere. Great portions, generous meat, authentic food, and definitely a place worth trying.

I called in , expressed my concern and they said they will fix it. Went in the establishment hours later and three ppl couldn't get it right with "good service" they made seem like I'm under cutting them?! In fact I payed 22 dollars for taco plate missing the main toppings for my tacos. And they couldn't even apologize and help . They just said no. Two register ladies and a guy name Joshua thank you I will not be back . Service industry yet not upholding full service . Ironic.

Super flavorful and well seasoned. There is a small parking lot inside/behind the business. Anyways. I wish they had ONE salsa that wasn't spicy. Maybe the green tomatillo one was mild but other than that theyre all spicy. My husband's burrito was fire. He used the red spicy salsa. My tacos were fire. I would come back now that I know the spot. I would take them to go even though they have sitting inside. Good customer service. The staff were nice.

After a long week and zero desire to cook on a Friday night, I finally decided to give it a try. When I pulled up, the line was surprisingly short, which felt like a good sign. The order window is right out front, and the menu is simple and familiar: tacos, burritos, sopes, tortas, quesabirria. I ordered a little bit of almost everything: asada street tacos, a bean and cheese burrito, beans and rice, an asada mulita, an al pastor sope, and a quesabirria. Prices were reasonable, and I spent under $50 for the whole spread. Food came out in about 15 minutes and was packed neatly. The disappointment started once I got home. There was no salsa in the bags, which already put us at a disadvantage. Only then did I realize there's apparently a salsa bar inside along with a small seating area, something you don't see from the front order window. Had I known that, I would've grabbed what we needed before leaving. Then we opened the tacos and realized they came completely plain... no onion, no cilantro, nothing. Just tortillas and meat. Not exactly what I expected. Visually, everything else looked fine, so I was hoping the flavor would make up for it... but it didn't. Everything tasted bland, like the seasoning took the night off. The only thing I halfway enjoyed was the beans and rice, and my family felt the same way. Maybe my expectations were too high based on the crowds I always see, but everything tasted like tortillas, meat, and cheese... and not much else. I'll give them credit for fair pricing and quick service, but that's about it. I really wish the cashier had mentioned that the tacos come plain or pointed me toward the salsa setup. Overall, not the experience I expected, and not one I'd rush back for.
