Had a good meal at Taqueria 2 Potrillos in Ontario. The carne asada tacos and birria tacos were packed with flavor, and the handmade tortillas really made a difference. We also tried the al pastor burrito and a mulita, both of which were fresh, filling, and hit the spot.

We stopped by Taqueria 2 Potrillos for breakfast burritos after hearing good things and wanting to try something new. Overall, the experience was okay. The restaurant itself is really nice. Spacious, clean, and relaxed. It even smelled like Fabuloso (which I love), so you could tell they take cleanliness seriously. Service, however, could use some improvement. There was no greeting when we walked in, and the gentleman taking our order seemed a bit short with us. There also seemed to be some miscommunication between him and the lady at the register (though she was very friendly). We decided to take our food to go. The carne breakfast burrito was pretty good! The tortilla was fresh, and the cheese inside was delicious--but the carne itself was a bit rubbery. Overall, $26 for two breakfast burritos felt a little overpriced for what we got. I'm not sure if we'd come back, but if we did, maybe we'd try something different. We could have totally just popped in at a bad time.

This place is alright for me. Taco meat was just not that great in my opinion. Kinda dry and not really well seasoned. Just felt bland. Also sizes were kinda small. Cabeza was good though, super tender. Quesadilla was pretty good too, wish it was crispier. Salsa bar was alright, awesome that it's serve yourself cilantro and onions but the salsa themself was meh. Why the Mexican food in the IE surprisingly mid?

Visited this place while looking to go next door to a different restaurant, saw so many happy customers walking out of this restaurant so had to change my direction and go to this restaurant. So glad I did! This was amazing! I had the asada, al pastor, and lenfua tacos and all had good flavor and had good portions! The tortillas are homemade and being made as you order so very fresh tacos. The service was fantastic and welcoming and very inviting. The ambiance was your local hometown very pleasant and authentic feel to it. Overall one of the better taquerias I have eaten at in the IE. If you are in the area, this is definitely a great place to eat and enjoy a super delicious meal!

Came in here the other day because we were craving tacos. We ordered basically a bit of everything. Upon entering you notice Mexican music playing and the wooden nice tables. This restaurant was definitely clean and everyone appeared to be on top of the cleaning and the making of the food. The tortillas are hand made! & they serve menudo daily from what the menu said..Also all meats were pretty good! (Asada, al pastor, fish, shrimp, buche (the buche wasn't chewy nor crunchy just right) and birria tacos). They give them to you plain except the fish and shrimp tacos as there is a salad bar to put your cilantro and onion and salsas. There is a variety of aguas frescas to choose from we got the Pineapple guava and Watermelon lime both very refreshing.

Went in wanting a burrito and it did not disappoint. It was almost everything I wanted, minus the amount of protein given. I will say, the service was very lackluster, as the individual preparing the meal, was taking his time, almost no clientele, it took way too long to get our order. The restaurant itself was also very nice.

The location is spacious with plenty of seating, some made from really cool wood. The ordering layout is a little confusing if it's your first time, and the process takes longer than expected. I ordered five tacos since they had a promotion , five for the price of four. The meat selection isn't very extensive, but after trying all five, my favorite was the Al Pastor. My husband ordered the Al Pastor burrito and really enjoyed it , it was a decent size too. The salsas were good, but the guacamole was underwhelming , no seasoning or spice. Overall, it was okay, but I wasn't impressed.

Delicious tacos lots of flavor and I appreciate the hand made tortillas but can you get better at serving them They're crammed into this little container and all those delicious juices come out and gets the tortilla very soggy and makes it hard to grab with your hands and you end up eating them with a fork which is okay too but a taco is meant to pick up and scarf besides that, this place is clean friendly and a very simple México style ambience they try to move the line along but I think the service line is out of sync with the flow of service. In my opinion the grill should be next to the warmer's so that it would just flows from the grill to the warmer instead of around the tortilla makers Just my opinion But the important thing is they're good I'll be back

Okay, sadly I have to rate this business 4 stars and not because they don't serve good food!! They actually serve amazing food, portion size (based on my husband) too small. My point of view size portions were decent, but price wise a little higher for proportions. My reason for 4 is based on the way they take orders and process the orders-- over complicated for no reason. You place order where you also wait to receive your food, then like a cafeteria style head down toward the cashier in order to pay and add on any drinks or additional items like chips and guac. Anyways, yes they offer an option to "not wait in line and order online". My problem was the price difference between ordering online vs in person- they charge more to order online even if you are in the building? Weird, can't seem to understand why they charge more but it was "worth waiting and saving",if you ask me! Only one lady was able to take orders although they had a woman 3 other men just sort of standing around, some cooking or cutting. But the organization and system should be changed, designed to accommodate customers a lot better. Another thing I think it should be looked into why they over price customers who order online. Anyways very great food, guacamole and chips were delicious as well. Would I go back, probably not based off the amount of time you wait to place an order and prices.

The restaurant was clean and the employees were friendly. I ordered carne asada, pollo, and Birria tacos. My son ordered a burrito. I also had pineapple guava aguafresca. The tacos were delicious!! I am going to be coming again to enjoy this food!!

Since moving to Rancho, my husband and I have tried a lot of restaurants and haven't been super impressed. We were so happy to stumble upon Taqueria 2 Potrillos! The food was great AND the interior is beautiful! Love the natural wood tables. I was surprised to see how large and open the space was. Service was prompt and respectable as well. Seems like an excellent spot for a quick pick up and even better spot to get together with family or friends. Highly recommend :)

Been looking forward to having a Taqueria 2 Portrillos in Rancho. I used to live in Corona and would go to that location all the time. Food is always fresh and they don't go cheap on the meat and always provide enough that you don't feel cheated. Agua Frescas are bomb and food is bomb. Only thing they need to work on is the Salsa. It's pretty lackluster, red isn't spicy, green is salty, and avocado salsa is lacking flavor as well. If they can figure out their salsa game they would be AMAZING. Regardless, I'll be back maybe with my own salsas tho lol

Carne Asada before the toppings - very generous

You get large portions and worth the price IMO. The food came out in lightening speed ! Which was shocking and loved how fast we were able to eat. The only negative thing I can say about their new place is the service. The service was great but they interrupted our meal several times and I felt like we couldn't take a breath to enjoy the food. The server kept asking if we were ok but we barely got our food and we were asked several times while trying to enjoy it. Also the photographer just coming up to use while we ate. We literally took pics with food in our mouths. Everything seemed so rushed. With all the times we were asked if we were okay or needed anything no server came with a pitcher of water to refill our cups. None of them asked about our drinks either. I will be back but maybe in the day time and not the evening time. ( to see if it will be different) the owner or manager needs to tell staff to kind of chill on asking people if they are ok especially when we barely got our food and interrupted several times during the meal. Let people eat and enjoy it for a little bit before being asked like every 5 mins lol
