I prefer this place. It's clean, quiet and not over crowded. I haven't had any issues and I've been going there a year. I've tried a bunch of local Laundromats and found that I like this one best from Edgewater to ormond beach and in between. I mean, I can't tell you anything that they've done above and beyond hence the 5 instead of 5 starts but they are continually functional and outside of the fact that they literally put out a total of 3-4 laundry baskets for their customers to use as if they were somehow precious and irreplaceable, I can't otherwise complain. In the world we live in today, a business simply fulfilling its purpose without causing me problems deserves an above average but not above that review. If you're in the area and looking for a decent place to do your laundry, check em out. Their facility does border the drug part of town so there are shady characters about but I have never, in a year, had any problem at all with them and besides, I can see my laundry from my car so I do t have to deal with people if I don't want to and I almost never do outside of my kiddos. Do Not Come Here!!! 01/01/2026 @ 10:45 am, I was washing my clothes, lady was rude, insulting, and belligerent while I was waiting. She did not like her job, cleaning, kids running around, she was grumbling to herself. 01/01/2026 @ 11:00 am, took my clothes from the washer to the dryer. She told me to wait while she cleaned the lint trap. I waited watching her. 01/01/2026 @ 11:05 am, She then finished, and asked me why I was watching her. I ignored her, put my clothes in the dryer, started it, then waited 12 minutes in the laundromat, sitting near the dryer, for fear that the lady would do something to my clothes. I started this Yelp review, went outside took a picture of the front for my post, came back in, lady asked my why I took a picture, I said to let people know where I am at. She continued her ranting. She then called someone and told them what I was doing. I posted my 1 star review. 01/01/2026 @ 11:07 am, I put my clothes in for another 24 minutes to dry, and walked out, to get out of her anger zone. 01/01/2026 @ 11:35 am, went back, removed my clothes, lady kept getting closer to me, talking to herself, I packed my clothes up and left. 01/01/2026 @ 11:42 am, I left the laundromat, I will fold my clothes at home away from that lady and away from that place. On Friday APRIL 24,2026 My husband and I went to this Laundromat It was clean my husband suggested we go there, they only take Debit or credit cards. So I used My Debit card it cost $9.25 to wash my ONE Item which was a Large Comforter for my king sized bed. Here's the problem After I was charged.$9.25. Money started coming out of my account left and right 4.25 now another 5.00 dollars I noticed all this on Sunday Morning which was APRIL 26 I had to SHUT MY card DOWN And it is now MONDAY APRIL APRIL 27 I am filing a Dispute to get ALL my unauthorized funds back, don't use your card there don't use this laundromat. Have been there 3 times . I usually have a good experience but today the attendant was down right rude . I didn't deserve the way she spoke to me . Over looking to use the restroom . I was there 12/10 around 3 o'clock didn't get her name . Have always been treated nice there before today . Kindness and manners must be out of season . read more

This laundry mat is nice. The machines are nice. The attendant uses too many machines to do other people's laundry. She is using 5 dryers and washers while the customers are waiting their turn to use a machine. Priority should go to the customers there. They also need folding tables. There is a large open space just being wasted. There is much worse places to go to. read more

WASH and FOLD Service - NEVER AGAIN I've never written a 1 star review. If I have an issue, I seek management, address it and move on with everybody happy. (Life's too short, right?) ;) Well, here I am to save you some time! When I first used Spin City's Wash and Fold service, I was handed a bag of *barely* folded laundry that was haphazardly "placed" in a bag. When I've used other services, clothes are folded neatly in two stacks and placed carefully inside the bag before it is buttoned up. The pick-up attendant agreed that whoever had folded the laundry had done a poor job, and she volunteered to refold it. Awesome. I was happy. (Love it when things work out.) ;) My second experience with Spin City's Wash & Fold service left me holding a bag folded even worse! (Click on my name at the top of the post to see pic.) I called Spin City's c.s. line because I wanted to give feedback. It was my goal to keep using Spin City as they are conveniently located. After leaving a message, I received no call back. I left a message for the manager at the store. No call back. I called Spin City's corporate offices. Left a message. No call back. That's when I decided to write this review because if the company doesn't care, ALL Spin City Laundry's don't care. The picture of the laundry bag is *just* as I picked it up. I carefully placed it in my car and on my counter, so that I could take a pic. It had not been opened. Look. $1.00/lb. for a wash and dry service? Amazing value. IF it is done correctly. I'll drive an extra half mile and pay an additional 25 cents per pound, so that I save myself the time and headache over laundry. Which is why I use a wash and fold service to begin with! I needed to wash 4 larger throw rugs and was from out of state. I chose Spin City through reading reviews online. We were very pleased with the bright, open facility. We had forgotten to bring laundry detergent and the attendant gave us free detergent, unscented!! She also took one look at our rugs and said we did NOT need to use the largest of the front loading washers. We could use the $5 machine. Our rugs came out clean and we were quite pleased with the location and the friendly attendant. We would recommend this laundry to anyone seeking a positive, safe environment. read more

Terribly disappointed! I took 3 formal dresses and a mans suit to have cleaned. The day after I picked up the items - I realized that my black and white formal dress ($200.00) was ruined. It had black streaks running through the white material. I immediately called the store and advised I was on my way out of town for vacation and would bring the dress back hen I returned. I received a return call from a staff member (staff is very pleasant) that she spoke to the owner who advised if I did not return it that day - they would do nothing to fix the problem. So, I delayed my vacation and returned the dress. After two weeks of not hearing anything- I called the store and was advised that the dress was ready to be picked up. I went to the store and my dress looked exactly the same. The staff informed me they were told that I brought it in that way. I explained the second time - I did because they caused the issue the first time. She started that they sent it to a new cleaner - obviously admitting fault with the first. I asked why I hadn't heard from anyone on the continued issues and was advised that they heard they tried to call but received my voicemail. I asked why a voicemail was never left and they could t answer. No call was ever made - cell phones show a call log.... now I have a dress I can never wear again and the owners and management show no concern. Maybe an attorney will.... read more

Ive been coming here since I moved to the area but the last time I went there will be the end of my time with them. I put my clothes in the dryer for an hour, I came back an hour later and my clothes were still cold and wet! I went to the attendant and she said there was too many clothes in there and it kept popping open, Yet when I checked the dryer my time had completely run out almost like my clothes weren't even in there when it was running. I split my clothes into two and restarted my clothes just to come back and find all of my clothes gone! someone had stolen all of my towels, blankets, my clothes my boyfriends clothes and his sons clothes. it was only 5:30 and all their attendants were gone even though they were supposed to be there till 6. I went back this morning to get some answers and they said the cameras don't even work and to call their corporate number, when we called Kelly was extremely rude and didn't even apologize for their business being unsafe. She basically said I was SOL. I'm never coming here ever again. Totally ruined my next month, because now I need to buy a whole new wardrobe, towels and blankets for my entire family. read more

Sit yourself down for a tale of woe. On March 9th my wife and I went into the Mt Dora location of Spin City (hereafter called SC). We started two loads of laundry and sat down. Unfortunately, one of the washers malfunctioned, ending the cycle prematurely. But, since the washer stopped mid-cycle, it wouldn't open the door. It was so bad that the attendant had to call someone (I presume either the owner or a manager), who instructed her to turn off the breaker for that machine. Clothes rescued, we moved them to another machine, and rewashed them (at a cost of $5). The attendant on duty instructed us to fill out a refund card, and that the next time we came in, we could get our money back. Sounds reasonable, right? That's what we thought. Today (the 16th) we went in to do more laundry and to get our refund. We paid for the washers and started them, figuring the refund would pay for the dryer. My wife went to the attendant (a different one than last week) to obtain our money. She was told that someone called her (my wife) and left a message about the refund, also stating that if it wasn't claimed in 48 hours, the refund would expire. Excuse me? First, that's an insane policy to begin with. I could understand if it was a year later, but this is seven days! Second, Nowhere on the refund card was this noted, nor was it verbally stated when we filled out the card. Lastly, my wife did NOT receive a call. She checked her voicemail as well as her call log. No such call was made. My wife attempted to solve this by calling a number on a SC card, which was just a number for another location. They wouldn't let her speak to a manager or the owner. They told her that someone would call her back. That was just after we put our loads in the washers. By the time we left (after washing, drying, and folding), we still have not received a phone call. We spoke to the attendant, stating we were unhappy and that we would be leaving a poor review. She told my wife "Do what you have to do". Wow! It's insane. We liked this business, it was always bright and clean, with plenty of machines. But this was the last time we will set foot in any of their establishments. For five dollars they lost us. They didn't even have to give us the money back, just give us the wash we were entitled to. But that was too much for them. read more

Dishonest management. They stole money and refused to give it back. I started to insert my quarters for the $9 washing machine. I put in $7 before I ran out of coins. I went to the their coin machine to get more coins. By the time I got back to the washer, it took my money and wanted me to insert $9 again. So I told the staff and was told to fill out a refund form. I did. Three weeks later, I get a phone call saying that they "declined" to give me back the money they stole. When I asked why, she said there was no answer, just a "declined" written on it. I asked for the number of corporate and left a message and no one returned my call. It's not about the $7 as much as its about the principle of it. It is wrong to steal from people. For them to set their machines up like that with no sign warning people that it will time out take your money is purposeful and it is thievery. ESPECIALLY when you take the time to fill out the stupid form only to have them "decline" to return your stolen money. Typically people who don't have a lot of money use these facilities and for corporate to poo-poo on them and rob them of there money is really low. Do the right thing! Put up signs to let people know or better yet, RETURN YOUR CUSTOMER'S STOLEN MONEY. read more
