As a new customer visiting the Rancho Cordova area of Sacramento, I found myself needing a laundromat when my hotel's washers and dryers were limited. That's how I ended up here--and I'm honestly on the fence, but leaning toward returning. This place is a good example of high-tech meets low-tech. On the high-tech side, you can pay with your phone using an app. On the low-tech side (and what I usually prefer), you can still use good old-fashioned quarters. Since this stop was unexpected and I didn't have any quarters on hand, I went the app route. That meant downloading yet another app, transferring money into it, and scanning the QR code on the machines to get started. The downside? I now have $23.75 sitting in the app, which feels a bit like my money is being held hostage--basically guaranteeing I'll need to come back to use it. Going forward, once those funds are used up, I'll likely stick to quarters for a more comfortable, no-strings-attached wash experience. Tech quirks aside, the facility itself was clean, spacious, and well laid out. There were plenty of washers in a wide range of sizes, from 1-load all the way up to massive 10-load machines, plus everything in between: 1.0 Load Capacity 2.0 Load Capacity 3.0 Load Capacity 4.0 Load Capacity 6.0 Load Capacity 10.0 Load Capacity Dryers were also plentiful, which is always a plus. I brought my own detergent and dryer sheets, but there's a vending machine with select laundry products if you forget something. There are TVs available if you choose to stay and wait, and parking is ample both in the front and the rear of the building. A business attendant stopped by briefly while I was there, and overall, I felt safe and comfortable using the facility. So, would I return? Yes--especially since I already have money in the app. Once that's used up, I'll come back prepared with quarters and skip the tech hassle. All in all, it's a solid laundromat option if you're in the area and need a reliable place to get your laundry done. read more

I left a review 4 years ago that was 5 stars. Since then the prices have climbed up. But what hasn't? The attendant that was here until recently kept the place immaculate. Now there doesn't seem to be an attendant. The place is dirty and no one to keep people feeling welcome or safe. I give it 2 stars ONLY because it has continued to have Free Dry Thursday. Doing some spring cleaning . I'm here to wash a medium size hall way rug that's so dirty, I thought about tossing it in the trash , but then I remembered how expensive rugs are and decided to see if I can do a through wash before I decide to let the rug go. Walked in around 11 am on a Thursday... I saw a couple of employees cleaning, and a handful of patrons doing laundry. Everything looked well maintained and very clean and bright . Lots of large and medium sized washers and dryers. The larger machines accepted credit cards, which was very convenient. However, you still need change for some of the dryers and the powder soap to wash your stuff. They have a change machine if you don't normally walk around with 5 pounds of quarters on you. It took about 37 minutes (extra power wash) for the cycle to complete . During that time I walked around to the back and found a couple of vending machines , a few TVs scattered about , and a couple of arcade games. I lost 2$ playing some some games while waiting . Not sure if they have WiFi connection or not. I would say that this laundromat is better then your average, but beware of your surroundings . Though the patrons within the laundromat were fine , right outside next to the vacant restaurant parking lot I saw a handful of sketchy, possible homeless people just literally laying on the ground doing who knows what . And this was in the middle of the morning. I certainly would not recommend coming out to do laundry by yourself when it's dark at night . Besides the immediate outside surroundings , Spin Cycle Laundry Lounge is pleasant . This place will get the job down. The extra power wash was effective and looks like my rug will continue to maintain its place in my home for a while longer . I left with a clean rug and new found knowledge that I suck at Donkey Kong. read more

CLEAN! I walked in mid afternoon and this place was busy but CLEAN. African American lady was sweeping and greeted me as I walked in. She even showed me where the dryer sheet vending machine was! I loaded up on $20 worth of quarters before I knew there was an app. Tried the app instead and it works great! Nothing fancy, you only add funds to exactly how much you want to spend . All machines are numbered for easy location. Nice chill laundromat with a variety of vending machines, close to other shops for even more variety. They have huge machines you can wash 8 loads worth in for less than $10. It's great. Thursdays they have free drying which is a huge plus! This place is so organized and clean! The staff greeted me when I walked in and was so kind, there were plenty of machines with different load levels and I just so happened to come in on a free dry day! You could tell the staff was trying to keep the space clean and organized, and also had many signs up explaining the laundry guidelines and how to pay using their app. It's right next to a 7-11 so there is some traffic coming in and out of the parking lot, but it was easy to find a parking spot. Hey, this laundromat is fantastic. It's spotless!!! All the machines work, and are good sizes. There's nothing you'll want to wash that they can't accommodate. I think the gal responsible for such a pleasing environment is Bridgette. She's a real gem!! Her attitude is a blessing and she knows her stuff!! I was accepting of this place, 1. They are close, 2. They accept cc on the larger washers and dryers, & 3. It's clean. Until....... I set a timer on my phone so I know when I need to return and check on my laundry. I get back and someone is moving my stuff!! Like wtf are you doing? My stuff wasn't even dry!! I'm like my stuff not even dry, The attendant then tells me to move it over to the other dryer that I'm using. Both the dryers have large comforters in them that need space to dry. Hello, I visited the Rancho Cordova, CA location today and I was very dissatisfied. There was a giant cockroach about 2 inches long, that crawled out from behind a washing machine. The roach approached my laundry basket so I killed it with some prewash container I had. I informed the manager on duty promptly. She did nothing besides sweep it up. She told me it was a "water bug" - though it was Not. She was not alarmed, and did not request an exterminator even though she claimed she "Sees them all the time." I, nor my neighbors, will not be returning to this location until we see proof an exterminator has dealt with this infestation. Cockroaches spread disease I do not want near my clean clothes. Do you think a big and tall man should watch a small young woman transfer her clothes with her hands full? Do you think employees should loudly tell customers SHUT UP? Should they open your bag of dryer sheets and look for customer to say "are you using this?" which he knew the answer too? CREEPY. So, I was washing for 45 minutes during that time had to go in and out to get everything from car. Nobody bothered me. When my washer had ONE minute left I put 1 dryer sheet in the dryer I chose (specifically that one to be away from people because I have serious anxiety)and wanted the other fabric soften to be above my laundry so for less than 50 seconds there was 1 bag of dryer sheets sitting in front of the dryer. While I have large heavy pillows and blankets in my hand to take from washer to dryer, large gray hair dude is there. He'd just arrived at 5pm.He had bent down to see what was in my plastic bag (my dryer sheets) then slowly turned around not knowing I'd seen the whole thing and said r u using this. I nodded my head yes. Then he asks AGAIN. I said aloud yes. Then he says EXCUSE ME ARE YOU USING THIS as I'm still holding personal bedding that is almost falling and as I have headphones on - specifically overhead kind which is obvious sign of leave me alone - so at this point I announce "Yess!!! Didn't I just nod my head to you and say out loud yes!" he responds that he "works here" Uh-okay?!And the sky is blue. No excuse. Seeing as he still STOOD there in front of my dryer and watching me like we were in a relay race, I said -- are you gonna stand there while I use the dryer?? He loudly confrontatiinally said DO YOU WANT ME TO?? I said the truth that can I have some PRIVACY and can you stop STARING at me and this man who is over a foot taller and over 90lbs. heavier tells me to SHUT UP. ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE. read more

I haven't used a laundromat in years but after my cat, um, "soiled" my king-size comforter as punishment for my being out of town for eight days, I discovered this place on Yelp. It is far and above the CLEANEST laundromat I've been in ever. The machines are beautiful, clean, and functioning (and take debit cards, which is really nice), and they have an on-site person helping keep everything neat and clean. Apparently they also have "free dry Thursdays," which is nice thing for families with lots of laundry to get done. Glad I stumbled upon this place. read more

Horrible place! Loaded two dryers and left for barely 30 minutes and someone stole the clothes from one of the dryers! This is ridiculous!!! The guy who works there was staring blankly at me saying that he can't do anything and this is "very strange". What kind of idiocity is that? This is the only laundromat in the area I go to now. It's clean, the employees are great, and I don't feel like I may be mugged in the parking lot like the other laundromats I've tried. The machines have fast cycles - about a half hour or 40 mins to wash and dry. The washers all take debit and credit cards. The large dryer does as well. Love that. If you do need change their change machines will even give you dollar bills back on bills over $5! The place is essentially immaculate - the cleanest laundromat I've ever been to. TVs on the walls playing various channels and music. Snack and soda machines, video games for any kids. They have fans running in the summer to keep you cool. I love this laundromat, it's always clean, affordable, and the machines are always in working order. How proactive is the staff from detering people from just loitering at this establishment? Today, I spent approximately two hours doing all my laundry, and this gentleman was posted up in the corner, charging his phone, and applying beeswax to his hair. I went in and loaded washer with clothes and soap only to realize the cc machine was broken. Ok, my bad. I should've been more careful. Go see attendant, they don't have an ATM machine in location and I only had a $100 bill. No big, I go to gas station and get change. Finally get to the dryer and start to put my clothes in when I get a whiff of the most putrid smell of cow manure. I pull my freshly washed clothes out and go tell the attendant to which she shrugs it off. I suggest she place a sign on it because it's not sanitary (especially during this day in age) she ignores me and doesn't bother to put up a sign. GO TO LOVE LAUNDRY INSTEAD! I have been to this laundry mat a few times this year and have had ok experiences. The lady working there was very helpful my first time here. On March 5th 2023 I had a completely different experience, the older AA man working there was extremely rude and unpleasant. My 12 year old daughter was sitting on a bench near the rear exit as we waited the last 3 minutes for our clothes to spin, we had one of the carts as we were getting ready to take out clothes out of the wash. The attendant working there came over to us and snatched the basket from my daughter and began putting bags of garbage into the basket. I stood up from the bench and asked him why he would do that, and told him that it's extremely rude of him. He says that we were not using it, but didn't ask her/us to give it to him just snatched it. He then says there are plenty of other baskets, if that's the case why would he come and snatch this one. I was very upset that someone would treat us this way, while we are spending money at your establishment. Another customer came to me and told me that he also had an incident with this same attendant the week prior and that he was very rude. I will not be going back! This place is clean. My husband comes every week and we spend at least $50.00 each time. Today 1/28/18. I came with a lot to wash but the lady who was in charge start asking for the carts even tough I was using them. She was very rude. I put all my clothes on the table so she could give the cart I was using to someone else who had just a couple of pieces to wash. I went to the bathroom to wash my hands and this lady kept the door open while I was washing my hands. She has no class no manners. And if you look more like hispanic or black she treat you different that the rest of the customers. I am not going back to that place anymore cause my money is not worth as much as others.
