Sought services from Ark Cleaners twice now but first time reviewing. First experience was getting a formal dress for a wedding altered. They did a wonderful job then adjusting the hem of the chiffon dress I had to my height. Recently, I wanted to dry clean my red puffy coat. 2 business days later, my puffy coat felt and smell clean and no stains around the collar and wrist areas. I also did not pay an arm and a leg for it. I have attached my down puffy coat and paid $20 total including tax for the dry cleaning services. Cheap compared to other places. Would highly recommend them for alteration and dry cleaning from firsthand experice. Great customer service, affordable, and they seem to do a wonderful job on the services they offer. read more

Wow!! Talk about great service. I brought 5 pants to be hemmed. She said it'll take 3 days to complete. Pretty fast service to me. But I forgot one more pair of pants when I got home so I took that to get hemmed the next day. Guess what? They already were done with my first 5. And the price? I went to a few places and called a few places near my neighborhood in Carmichael and you can't beat the price that Ark Cleaners charged. So...quick service and great prices can't be beat. read more

I brought my dads suit at this place not knowing what i should expect. It was a traditional suit with very delicate fabric. I was happy with their service and they took care of the suit very carefully. Also, when i got married my wedding dress was a mess but they did not give you promises that they would clean it but instead they would give u an answer which has no promises. We first used them to get the red wine stains out of my wife's wedding dress and have been back two additional times. My most recent drop off I needed my suit jacket cleaned and a button sewn back on. The service was amazing as usual and final charge was a whopping $7. I absolutely love this place! I've been going here for years and I enjoy every visit I have! It's a very quant place but it's the best ever! They're prices are reasonable and affordable. I always get my clothes altered here and they do a great job all the time. I found this place by spending a whole day looking for a place that will alter my prom dress for reasonable price. All of the places that I went before charged $70+. This was the last place that I stopped at and I'm glad that I stopped here. I've gotten 2 prom dress altered here for only $30 each! They both got taken down a size! I also got my pants taken in and fixed a couple clothings with holes on them for only $20! The two ladies who own this shop are very friendly and kind. Would recommend! I brought in my wedding dress and my Husband's tux from our wedding. Both were ready in less than a week (I told them no rush since the wedding was over). Kind of pricey. Two dresses plus one women's suit jacket was $27. Suit jacket was fine but one dress still had a stain. To be fair, I hadn't worn that dress in ages and had no idea that there was a stain and so perhaps it was like a 2 yr old stain.... I really have to give my heart out to the lady who works here. The owner I am assuming is was very kind and accommodating to what I needed which was to dryclean my blazer in literally a day. [Yes, I know I am the worst! LOL] She was able to have it done right by the time I came back, to my surprise after putting the blazer on she tailored the buttons that were falling off and she didn't even charge me. Took pants to have dry cleaned. Pants came back extremely shrunken and weren't even all the way clean; dirt spots were still on them. Pants are ruined with how much they shrank. Dry cleaning should never shrink denim. read more

Some of the best service I have ever had at any business, ever. I came in super last minute, about 45 minutes before closing on a Thursday night (I had just picked up multiple uniforms for a new job) and I needed a cleaning and press on a total of 6 items by Saturday. I started on Monday and they are closed on Sunday. At first, the lady working the register said they would need more time, (I assume because they outsource for cleaning or pressing) but then saw the patches on my uniform and said never mind, they could have it for me tomorrow. I assume they made some special arrangements and maybe drove my uniform to their partners or did something way above and beyond what the needed to do to accommodate me. The prices are fair and the ladies working were very kind. They have just gained a new customer and will go there every time I need a cleaning from here on out. read more

I ordered an evening gown from David's Bridal for my voice recital which was shipped to me in a box, and therefore really squashed and wrinkled. The full pickup skirt was almost unrecognizable. I had my alterations done elsewhere, but I brought the gown here to be pressed, since it's right across the street from me. They were friendly and happy to do the formal wear. Now it looks like a whole new dress, just like the picture on the website! Not only unwrinkled, but the skirt is fluffed up and full. I have had recital gowns cleaned before for close to $30, so I was really pleased to have this one pressed for $13. It was done in three days. I'll be going back! read more

Unfailingly the two ladies there are masters of the needle craft, did custom fits for store bought suits, pants, shirts and even my spandex bike shorts needed elastic, superb results and fair if not "cheap" prices.
