I must also note that two of my t-shirts were torn in the washer or dryer - I only noticed once folding them. It may be the quality of the t-shirts since they were the same brand in different colors but it is more likely they snagged on something in the drum. A mix of machines ($4 or $6) appear newer and clean and do a great job. Dryers offer multiple heat settings at .25 cents for 6 minutes. The dryers are efficient too--under 30-min if you don't overload the machine--and stop when clothes are dry. Although broad, the one-path access can cause the flow to get jammed up, but people tend to be very kind in Napa, so it's not usually an issue. They also offer a wash-and-fold laundry service for those who can't DIY. The last wash is at 7 pm. We are fortunate to have this facility in the hood.
