Came here at night time for a dessert with my friends, the food itself was great, and the service is great too. However, the staff members do not necessarily care or attempt to control any customers that are being too loud and disruptive to the other tables. I do not blame the employees for the behaviors of other customers, however I wish that rules are established regarding being too loud and when customers are being too inconsiderate.

Good dessert and service. A pretty enjoyable dessert place in Markham. The classic funnel cake is really good here. Crispy base, a good amount of strawberry sauce with real strawberry, top it up with the nice soft vanilla ice cream. Simply delicious. On the other hand, the drinks are just way too sweet for me. Pretty good-looking but they dump in a heavy load of sweetener to it. Honestly, I'm not a big fan of it. The servers are great with good politeness. Will come back for dessert but not necessarily for drinks. Still recommended.

The menu is quite extensive; there's even a table of contents with fourteen chapters! They've got drinks (milkshakes, cold/hot drinks), funnel cakes, cakes, waffles and crepes, ice cream, twisted tornados, Belgian creations, pancakes and funnel fry poutines, croffles, signature sundaes, sausages, and poutines. We ordered a crepe and a slice of cheesecake. I like that you can customize your crepe. It comes with three toppings and one sauce. Ice cream and additional toppings and sauces are an extra charge. The service was quick and friendly.

Location became busier after 830pm. Funnel cakes were quite crispy. Generous servings with a big cup of ice cream topping the funnel cakes. I liked the "cozy and comfy" funnel cake with lots of apple topping and vanilla ice cream which seemed closer to soft serve which was fine. The other funnel cake had a strawberry sauce and chocolate ice cream. I preferred the apple funnel cake with vanilla ice cream. We had to pack both for take home. It is huge! Service was friendly and attentive. We couldn't finish the funnel cake or the ice cream and we asked for a cup to pack the ice cream to bring home. They kindly offered to keep the ice cream in the freezer until we were ready to leave. We couldn't have asked for better customer service! 5/5. Plenty of parking at this location.

Great place in markham for a dessert night out. The service and food was very good. They have a very large variety on their item of like 15 pages with many toppings and ice creams. The service was pretty quick considering they only had 2 people working.

Red velvet cheesecake was a HIT!! I've heard through friends that this place was known for their super delicious milkshakes but I'm more of an ice cream cone girl. 10/10 Flavor choices. The service was quick. We got our milkshake and ice cream within 10 minutes, maybe less. The vibe was comfortable and quiet. The color scheme was too cute. Would definitely take more friends here.

4.5 STARS Yummy dessert spot opened up not too long ago where Starbucks used to be in there plaza where Cana bee baby is. Order cotton candy ice cream and funnel cake with strawberry sauce and ice cream on the side. Funnel cake was yummy with the strawberry sauce accompanied with the ice cream, just wished the funnel cake was a tad bit crispier. Cotton candy was super sweet, but fun to eat! Will be back to try other amazing desserts they have to offer.

D Spot had its grand opening today and we decided to give it a try! Knowing that it was free, I honestly didn't expect too much and definitely long waits. That being said, once we got in, hospitality was great. Management was good and ensured we were taken care of. Despite the business, staff were still friendly and working efficiently. The waffle was soft and fluffy, good sweetness but can be a bit more crispy for our liking. I do think this may be related to meeting demands but overall well composed. Toppings were quite generous and a good number of choices to choose from. Your classic toppings and a few extra ones with flavours more commonly found in South Asian cuisine like pistachios and rose ice cream! Overall decent prices comparable to the neighboring western dessert places. They also have funnel cakes!

We really enjoyed our food at this despite location. We were actually coming from a location that did not serve funnel cakes, so we were very excited to have the funnel cakes here. The service was family and fairy quick, we received our food in under 10 minutes. It was such a large, serving the two of us were not able to finish the funnel cake.

A build your own dessert place with a myriad of options for waffles, croffles, funnel fries, sundaes, and all sorts of toppings and sauces and ice cream. They also have plenty of original creations to choose from if you don't feel like being creative. I tried a waffle with hazelnut ice cream, bueno and maltesers which are two of my favourite chocolate bars. The dessert was surprising not too sweet, but I did find the waffle a bit soggy. Overall a good place to hang out for dessert as it is clean and spacious and there is something for everyone, but don't expect anything too fancy.

New D Spot location opened up at 7/ woodbine where Starbucks used to be. Because they are soft opened right now, some items may not be available yet like coffee. Other than that, all main desserts are available! This location is unlike others as it is an "express" location. They do not offer the savoury menu such as bar food/appetizers. You'll order and sit down like food court style. Lots of ice cream for walk in as well! The owner was very nice.

Came here on a hot Sunday afternoon. The mango sorbet was good. Service was great. Wish there were more vegan friendly flavours . There were only two vegan flavors : dark chocolate and mango sorbet.

There were some seating outside but it was only the one table for two people. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. The only downfall was that they ran out of meat sauce so the lasagna was out of the question but they made up for it in the pizza flavours. The menu is pretty straightforward; they offer multiple types of pizza ranging from classic meat lovers to unique ones like smoked salmon or tandoori chicken. I ended up ordering the four cheese because I was in a cheesy mood. The pizza was amazing. The crust had a nice puff up but was not so crunch that it would cut the roof of your mouth. The sauce-to-dough ratio was perfect, and neither ingredient overpowered the other. The cheeses they used (Ricotta, Feta, Bocconcini and cream cheese) didn't clash with each other, and it just seemed to be a slice of cheesy goodness with every bite. The pizza was not greasy, so no mountain of napkins was needed. A must-try if your into pizza and like my nannu says in Sicilian "Veni e pigghiati 'u divertimentu" (Come and enjoy it already).

We probably made a mistake when ordering 2 large half and half pizzas as this turned out to be a very pricey pizza dinner (over $80!!) but that's not the restaurant's fault. We'll just be more mindful next time. The pizzas were good and I loved the freshness of the toppings. Unfortunately, I did not love their crust as it was too chewy for my liking. The chicken wings we got was pretty heavily breaded which is also not my favorite way to eat them. We may come back to try their more adventurous offerings.

I had never been to Papa John's, so I placed an order after doing some grocery shopping on a Wednesday night. My first time seeing a Papa John's in my life was in Rochester, MN. You could buy a pizza and heat it up at home (it was called take-and-bake), or you could order pizza that was hot and ready for you to consume. My officemate ordered from Papa John's often. I never did. Sadly, Rochester doesn't have a single Papa John's left anymore. I ordered the following items: - 10" meatball pepperoni pizza (BOGO) - Honey chipotle chicken poppers I got garlic sauce for everything. I was excited to try it. My takeout order was expected to be done in ten minutes. Super fast. Sure enough, it was. This store is on the north side of highway 7. I pulled into the parking lot next to Papa John's. There were a handful of spots. The store's official parking lot is behind the store. I walked up the cement pathway to the store. There is a single outdoor table with chairs if you want to eat there. Otherwise, there are no seats inside the store for dining. I walked in and was greeted by a friendly woman. I indicated that I was picking up an Uber Eats order. She nodded and went to fetch it above the oven, keeping everything warm. I thanked her and headed to my car with my three boxes of food. Let's start with the pizza. Each pizza came with a container of garlic sauce and a couple of pepperoncini. The slices were not cut uniformly. I got one slice that could easily be two slices for a normal human. In turn, I got a dinky little one that could be considered finger food. The pepperoni distribution was great on the pizza. You got pepperoni in each bite. The meatball chunks seemed to indicate rationing. You got exactly one meatball chunk on each pizza slice. As someone who loves meatballs, I expected more. The crust was yummy. Chewy. Crunchy. Not soggy. It was great. I was trying to figure out where the garlic sauce had dairy in it. It does not. Yay! It tasted like melted margarine mixed with a mild amount of garlic. It was good and had a velvety texture. I ended up pouring it on top of each pizza slice. It became addictive. Verdict: Yummy, but I want more meatballs. I had enough pizza to last a couple more days. I love leftover pizza. Still delicious. No complaints here. I also had half the honey chipotle chicken poppers and the rest of them the next day. They are essentially white chicken meat in nugget form that are breaded and I assume oven-baked. They weren't greasy. The honey and chipotle sauces were drizzled on top. They were pretty good. I could do without the sauces on top. They tasted better dipped in the garlic sauce. Then again, I'm biased and would say that anything dipped in garlic sauce makes the main food item taste better. I had a wonderful first experience at Papa John's. I'd love to build my own pizza next time and see whether I get a slice a mushroom on each pizza slice or if rationing is lifted. (198)

As soon as you walk in, the smell of dough, pizzas, Italian cooking smacks you in the face like a Mack truck crashing through a marshmallow factory. I ordered the small pepperoni pizza and their "infamous" Panzerotti (fried of course). Waited 15mins, counter staff were friendly and helpful, answered my noob questions with the patience of a saint. Rushed home, skidding over the road ice and nearly grazing the huge snow banks on the side roads. Panzerotti where have you been all my life. Similar to Calzone but thinner and much larger. Golden crunchy goodness with a significant cheese pull. I choose the meat sauce filling (Xtra $2), well worth it. Staff recommended the garlic dip (Xtra $1.50), brought the Panzerotti to a higher level. I was tempted to eat the whole Panzerotti all at once, glad my brain warned me to eat only half which was more than enough. The small pizza had a good ratio of cheese/sauce to crust, every bite was pure joy. Pizza crust had a chewy, slightly salty flavor profile. Not the best, dough/crust above average, then again I'm a little bias hanging out in New York's Little Italy during my misspent youth gorging myself on New York style pizza slices. Mama, I think I found my favorite neighborhood Italian take out place. Can't wait to try their veal/chicken parmigiana sandwiches.
