The collection of used records for sale is much better. The prices are fair considering the quality and variety offered. Lower quality records are priced lower, better records are a bit more. Just as it should be. I was in a week after I had been a previous time and was impressed with the new stock they picked up in only a week. I'm not sure what the record turnover is, but it seems if you go every couple of weeks, it could be worth it if you just want to "see what's new". Great gear for sale as well. I'm a fan.

Records, tapes, CDs, and yes, even DVDs and VHS tapes, like artifacts from a civilization that understood patience. The selection is not just large, it is deep in the way a good conversation is deep. Jazz standards sit comfortably alongside obscure classical recordings. Somewhere nearby is a Japanese scream band you have never heard of but suddenly feel compelled to investigate. What makes the place work is the staff. These aren't people who ended up here by accident. They're here because they love music in a way that can't be faked. Ask for something familiar and they will find it. Ask for something strange and they will find it too, and then suggest three more things you didn't know you needed. It reminds me of the record stores I grew up in, back when discovering music felt like a small personal victory instead of an algorithm handing you a suggestion like a fortune cookie with better branding. Streaming may have made everything available, but it also made everything feel the same. This place resists that. It insists that music is still worth searching for, still worth holding in your hands, still worth talking about with another human being. Go here. Spend more time than you intended. Trade in something you hope others will discover as you once did. Leave with something unexpected. That's the whole point. Found them through a FB post. I've past the store hundred of times and never knew they sold…read morerecords, always thought it was music instruments and equipment only. Anyway... They posted an ad for a sale on CDs. I responded back asking if they had any vinyl for sale and when they said yes, I decided to pay them a visit. Walking in you're greeted with exactly what I thought the store was. A musical equipment store. I saw a rack of records and as I walked to it, a rep came over to ask if I needed help. When I said I was interested in the records he said I was welcome to look at that rack but I probably wanted to look upstairs. He led the way upstairs and through a maze into a huge room with wall to wall racks of records!! Turns out I wasn't crazy, the record "store" is a new venture. They are just launching. But back to my visit. Wall to wall racks of records! I started at the far corner and worked my way through all the racks. Every genre was there! Even country which you never see. The bins were well marked and actually had what was listed. Everything was alphabetical! I worked my way around grabbing an album here and there. After a little over an hour of looking I headed to the register. While most of the records were priced, there were a few that weren't and the clerk quickly looked them up and gave me more than fair pricing on them. In just over an hour I added a couple of dozen records to the collection for a heck of a great price. Overall, very helpful and friendly staff. Very good selection of music (they have CDs, Dvds, and cassettes as well but I was there for vinyl so I didn't really look at those). Great prices. I found out after paying I came through the wrong door and their entrance door is actually in the back of the building. (I know for next time) I will definitely be back!

There was a solo guitar player performing acoustic songs. A lot of traffic during the grand opening and many folks stopping in while strolling by the store. Seems to be some buzz around the place. His store and selection are second to none and he has given me some amazing deals, many of which I am proud to have as part of my collection. Steve also has CDs, DVDs, cassettes, 8-tracks and more. I have just recently bought a Blu-ray player and have bought several CDs off Steve that you cannot get on vinyl so now i have the best of both worlds. The greatest things about this store is the great prices. A lot of fairly new records and very vintage records at an affordable cost. The customer service is great and the owner is very friendly to customers. I recommend if you have time one day after work or on a weekend you stop in and check it out. When you walk in, the store is very small with a single waist high case containing some estate jewelry and coins and two small cases on each wall.
