Nice Barnes and Noble; I am happy that people read books and magazines in this digital age. There…read moreis nothing like holding a book or magazine and reading it. I like this Barnes & Noble; it's probably the biggest one I know, very clean and organized. And you can find almost any book that you can think of; they have vast magazine racks. I sometimes see people sitting there, like a library. I would return again soon. And prices are just average; they are decent.

The only time I see B&N bustling is around the holiday season. 'They' say that people don't read…read morebooks anymore. I don't think it's entirely true; however, I suppose some readers might agree that B&N has gone out of style over the years. For instance, in the Edison location B&N still features a huge area entirely devoted to DVDs and CDs - forms of media which increasingly become irrelevant to consumers with each passing year. The advent of technological development has overtaken the usefulness of paper books. Even the professors from my graduate school program studies (circa 2020-2022) elected to use digital textbooks for 85% of the curriculum coursework. Perhaps brick and mortar B&N stores ought to inject a new retail experience into their business model that involves the offline-to-online and online-to-offline offerings (i.e. digital kiosks in stores)

Edison, NJ 08837 If you are a millennial and want to relive your past time, this vintage toy store is right up your alley. This location specializes in action figures, statues, retro home consoles, and other keepsakes. As I entered the store, it had the feel of a museum because many items are not available in retail stores. I was especially impressed with the detail of the action figures. The characteristics of each trait are handcrafted perfectly and I can guarantee you will instantly recognize each specific trait. There is a diverse variety of additional merchandise in True Believers. An entire wall is filled Funko Pop! vinyl figures. Although I don't collect any cards, there are many Pokémon trading cards available; they are surprisingly valuable. The video game systems will also keep you entertained. Engage in the Game Boy or neutralize the bad guys with the Nintendo Zapper; now you are playing with power! Although I currently am not in the market for any novelties, it was still a neat experience exploring this store. It is a must visit for true believer that is young at heart. #truebelievers #menloparkmall

The staff is generally helpful and upbeat. While brick and mortar locations have overhead costs that online doesn't have to deal with, the pricing is still hit or miss, many times you will find amazing deals, sometimes you'll find items that are about what the market value is elsewhere and other times you'll find items that are very overpriced and available for much lower prices both at retail and on the secondary market. That said, it's very easy to be selective about your purchases and still enjoy this location and its bevy of options. I am a regular customer and highly recommend this location to anyone that is into collectibles, games, tcgs, etc.

Not surprisingly, this FYE is going out of business, with liquidation discounts starting at 20%…read more While I haven't purchased anything here in over a decade, this store has been a great place to nostalgia browse while walking off lunch from Red Robin (now closed) or Johnny Rockets (also now closed). This FYE store used to be in a different part of the mall until it relocated to its current location eight years ago. This wing of Woodbridge Center has been mostly vacant for the past year, so this has been a long time coming. Clearance inventory includes a large selection of DVDs and compact discs from the nineties as well as newer merch such as plushies, imported sodas, and Kpop Demon Hunter posters. All sales are final. Pick up something for yourself before the Black Friday rush and say goodbye to another relic of your childhood.

Now physical media is lumbering towards extinction, replaced with novelty tees, posters and toys that all presume that I'm an alienated 12 y/o who has a fetish for no hit wonder bands and gaming-inspired celebrity. I probably was a very long time ago but my Flock of Seagulls hair gel ran out about the time that MTV stopped playing music videos. How this retail anachronism sticks around and stays current on the rent is as hard to fathom as the knock-off Sony Discman on the shelf. At least at Spencer's I can find a dusty lava lamp and a random black light poster of Slipknot or florescent mushrooms shoved in the corner but sadly no hair gel. Two stars for no reason whatsoever.
