Spinach & Agushi, a stall located on Broadway Market on Saturdays, bestows upon you a little rectangular box of awesome. From their row of deep iron wok-like pans, they spoon you huge heaping shovelfuls of Ghanaian stews over tasty spiced jollof rice. I had the trademark spinach and agushi dish and a groundnut stew (sort of like a chicken satay type of tender peanut chicken stew) topped with a light carrot salad and a splash of hot sauce. It's an enormous amount of food in a little box,and is certainly £5.50 worth of incredibly filling, uniquely spiced tastiness.
I agree with Felix W. on the 'African' food category needing a bit more differentiation...London has Nigerian, Senegalese, Ethiopian, Moroccan food and more, and that's just in one row of stalls at a place like the Sunday UpMarket at Brick Lane.
