It was in a different office not Van Nuys. Was supposed to be a free consult. I was interested in spinal decompression and asked about charges, but they bypassed that and set me in an office with a "salesperson" who told me all the services they do and why they are better than traditional medicine. As time went on Chiropractor came in and told me according to my MRI she was not sure if she could do decompression until I got an MRI (cost $385). I said I am waiting for one through my Medicare coverage but she said it would take a longer time but I said I would consider that before deciding. The additionaocost for decompression at $8-9,000 was not mentioned at the time. They talked about good game and pressured me to sign up for CareCredit which would help me pay for treatments over the next few months. They told me that would be $3,900 and I thought that included the decompression which we could decide on later. When I signed up for Care Credit I could not see the writing on the phone. Explained I did not have my glasses so she took my phone and said she would put in the information to apply for the CREDIT. CARD to cover treatments. I later found out that instead of having me pay for treatments with the Credit Card as I got them, they took the $3,900 out of the credit card account. It also included $1.66 per hundred dollars owed which would start an additional $60 a month. When I called to speak to them their accountant told me she would not cancel the contract unless I paid her over $700 on the spot. I asked why so much and she started running down the services they provided in two sessions. So they were not honest about the costs, the additional decompression or the fact that they were billing me for treatments they had not even provided yet. They also have an additional $1,000 charge for anyone who cancels the contract. I feel they took advantage of a senior citizen, 79 years old, who came in with a walker and in pain and talked a good game. I have filed a complaint with the Care Credit Card thru Synchrony Bank who originally told me they paid that money to Spinatomy I will send them a letter requesting them to resolve this before I take it to the laws and the State Contractors licensing board as well as the attorney general. They are not clear or honest about the costs and I don't feel it is ethical to bill for services not provided, especially since we didn't have a decision about what treatment options would be included over the next few months. read more

I was also offered 1 year of follow up decompression treatment for an extra cost to help maintain my condition. Its only been 4 months. After four months and not hearing from Dr Rozenberg, I simply wanted to speak with her regarding why I was in so much pain after months of treatment . Their favorite Your slogan is " We're family now" but it's all a lie when it comes to Dr Rozenberg . She will introduce herself as the leading doctor and assure you that you will see her at least once week during your treatment. Truth is, you will barely see her with an excuse that she's busy in other offices tending to other patients as if you're not important as well. Once you start your treatment you will never see her with an excuse Dr Rozenberg stated I could spend my money somewhere else after only having questions about what we need to do going forward with my condition. She stated "You can spend your money elsewhere if you'd liked" This behavior was not warranted unacceptable and uncalled for. This was after they've already got 1000s of dollars from me . Anyone going through hard times knows that, that type of money is hard to come by . Imagine you give your last money that you've worked hard for to get treatment done to make your life better . You still end up in pain and then you're told go find somewhere else then. There are some amazing staff there, but it's not worth it. My goal for writing this review is for hopes that in the future this will not happen to anyone else. I am very impressed with this office. Everybody is so nice and friendly. The doctors are also really good. I appreciate Dr. Q's professionalism, healing techniques, and level of genuine caring. He has magical hands! And he does a very good job at explaining. I am very happy with my experiences with him and the staff. I have been going to this spine center for a little over a year and they have done wonders for me.. In the condition that I was in I really don't think anyone would believe the that I am where I am today.. When I went to them I was literally being pushed around in a wheelchair, after several months treatment I started using a walker, and several months after that I started using a cane and today I use a cane when I am going a far distance just for support with the way the streets and pavement are so cracked up because of the tree roots pushing things out of place, it is for support and balance. I love, love what this center has done for me. I developed 5 herniated discs and an MRI Revealed 2 fractures. I was in livid pain. Indescribable. I attended the Van Nays center and was treated 3 times a week for 3 months and at present now i am on a maintenance program. No medications or pain control medications were given. I was searching for some assistance with my 84 year old mom's sciatica and throbbing leg and foot pain and found the Spinatomy Clinic in Ontario, Ca where we met Dr. Rozenberg and her amazing staff. My Mom at the time was using a walker and could barely walk. Dr. Rozenberg told my mom she could help her of course I was skeptical after Kaiser diagnosed my mom with stenosis sent her to physical therapy, a neurologist and a hematologist and wanted to medicate her. After no success we decided to sign up for a treatment plan with Spinatomy and from October 2023 to May of 2024 I can say they have improved my mom's condition tremendously. She is now walking without assistance and driving short distances and living independently. I am so grateful to Dr. Rozenberg and the Spinatomy staff. We were able to switch her appointments to the Culver City location where staff member Al has continued to treat my mom and stabilize her mobility.
