At least new to me. As mentioned I haven't been here in a while. Wait to be seated when we came in. It took a few minutes but a table was cleaned for us and we sat. Nice crowd for a Thursday afternoon. Hostess is also the cashier. She gave us menus. Then we waited about 15 mins till a server came with silverware. She took our order. A chicken salad sandwich and the special chicken paprikash. I wanted to try it. Then we waited some more. At least 20 mins to get our drinks. Water with lemon. Then another 30 mins for food. It was hot when we got it. So it was fresh. Just took forever. I also got a cup of soup with my paprikash so I chose the mushroom barley. It was very thick, almost stew like. Lots of barley but not too many mushrooms. It was ok. Wouldn't get it again. The paprikash was ok. It's a ok portion. Not heaping. Ok though. It tasted ok too. Not too much distinct flavor. It wasn't bad but I wouldn't get it again. Mom's chicken salad on wheat was just ok too. For the more than hour we waited to get our food, this was not a great experience. When we went to pay the hostess cashier was MIA and we waited. We were going to pay via cc but decided we did not want to wait any longer and just gave cash. I couldn't even flag someone down to tell them I left the bill by the register. No one there. Not sure if help was the issue. Probably was. Too many customers and not enough wait staff. Or just on their own time. Server seemed surprised we wanted to go boxes and our bill. But I got to get back to work and at this rate I was out of the office more than 1 hr 45 mins. Family place. Long time establishment. Good prices for a family. I don't want to knock. But this was a bit too far for me. I can't wait for my lunch for more than an hour. It may be awhile before I try again.

I also asked for a lemon wedge, not a slice, since you can't squeeze a slice. Next came our espresso martinis, one for each of us. We actually felt the bang for our buck -- strong, well-balanced, and worth every penny. For our appetizer, we shared the gluten-free BBT meatballs. It was delightful. Then our Cobb salads arrived, each with shrimp added. We requested a side of extra-virgin olive oil -- not a blend -- and the kitchen got it right. For dessert, we shared the cheesecake, minus the graham cracker crust because my friend is gluten-free. I would have preferred the kitchen plate it for sharing and provide dessert silverware with it, instead of us having to flag someone down. I'm also industrial seed oil free, and Hailey was attentive to both of our dietary needs throughout. The manager, Chris Nichols, stopped by to check in and ensure we were satisfied -- a clear sign the restaurant is customer centric. I actually thought Chris was the GM. Kudos to the general manager, Ben Lano, for inspiring great teamwork. Lastly, I give the ambience four stars, simply because we don't have a Michelin-starred restaurant in Ohio.

If you look at the picture, you can see that the biscuit is about 5 inches thick! The biscuit actually had more of a texture, look and taste of a piece of bread instead of a biscuit. It didn't taste bad it just didn't taste or look like a biscuit. The bacon was good and it tasted like it may have had Velveeta cheese on it but again it just had those really flat scrambled eggs. I'm wondering if they sold to new management. Because the salad bar is nowhere near the quality it used to be. And the pork chops are nowhere near the quality that they used to be. Also, they've gotten thinner and way more fat fatty. Here's a picture of my lunch this afternoon. Service was OK. She came and refilled our drinks and checked in a few times but I really feel they need to step up their game if it's under new management the prior owner really had this place running and it was usually busy breakfast lunch, and dinner all the time.
