I was able to bring in little nibbles and cocktails for my group to enjoy while working on our projects. Jessica and Grace were our instructors and they were awesome and accommodating. They guided us every step of the way and gave us the confidence needed to make decisions on customizing our pieces. Definitely worth the money and time! Reserving a slot seems very easy to do online but if you are doing a party it gets a little tricky. Thankfully Darby & Jessica were such a great help and remained patient with me throughout the whole process. I called anytime I had questions. The design options are endless and the price starts from $28+. Occasionally they will promote a special for the month at $25 so be sure to check their IG first. If you have a group of 8+ you can reserve the entire studio for 2 hrs for your group with 30 mins to setup prior. There are different options to pay and they can customize it to what works best for you incase you want to pay for the group, some of the group or none of the group! They do accept walk-ins but are closed on Wednesdays!

Classes are taught by the excellent Mark Gucciardi, a former teacher at the Florence Art Academy, teaching in the Florence tradition. He has a fabulous eye and never runs out of suggestions and techniques, yet he remains kind and encouraging. At first I wondered if this training would be a good idea, as I've always enjoyed making art that does not look classical. But what I've found is that my eye is getting better and that what I am learning here is strengthening my more abstract work. I also love that the artists taking the class are focused and dedicated, another source of inspiration. Most of them work full time, so the fact that they are making time for this activity shows a degree of commitment that is energizing to be around. Not only do they offer Birthday Parties, but also Adult Paint Parties, Art Classes and Open Studio times. We came her this past Saturday to have the kids make paintings for Mother's Day. Small canvases are $10 and the larger ones are $15. Your kids can pick pretty much subject matter and the owner will find a picture/image online that they would like to paint. At that point you can paint it from scratch or she will pencil draw an outline using a projector. Pretty cool place and concept. All the paints, brushes, aprons and instruction are included in the cost. Fun place to get messy and creative. Not sure if they do Paint and Sips or not - if they do, count me in!
